Darüber hinaus sind derartige Schiffe nicht geeignet, längere Ölsp.erren zu bilden, um eine großflächige Absperrung für Ölteppiche zu erreichen .in the fact that oil spreads rapidly over large areas and in many cases due to the effects of currents and winds also drifts unpredictably. On the other hand, swell often makes it much more difficult to skim off oil with extremely high waves there is currently practically no possibility at all to collect drifting oil » In order to siphon off oil spills on bodies of water, it is already known to build types of ships that have one have longitudinally divisible, as it were beak-like opening trunk and with pump units for sucking off Oil and are equipped with storage tanks for the extracted oil. The skimming performance of such ships is tightly limited because the storage tanks absorb not only the extracted oil but also the water extracted with it have to. In addition, such ships can only cover a limited area and due to their longitudinal divisibility can only be used with difficulty in rough seas, especially in the beak-like shape open state. In addition, such ships are not suitable for creating long oil locks, to achieve a large-scale barrier for oil spills.
The invention is based on the object of a method and a device for skimming off water driving substances, in particular oil, with which it is possible to create simple and functional Art to achieve high skimming performance even with strong water currents or high seas.
Erifndungsgemäß wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß das Wasser mit den auf und/oder unter der Wasseroberfläche befindlichen Stoffen auf eine Auflaufe ehräge geleitetAccording to the invention this is achieved in that the water with the on and / or under the water surface the substances located on a casserole ore passed

' .and is caught during and / or after the run-up on this run-up slope. The invention is based on the knowledge that when running on the surface, the substances to be skimmed off do not correspond with the '■> au Π au 1'6'MiJt-Ii W; i ;; r, cr verm 1 r.ehfii and with . only a limited amount of water can be floated onto the surface. A first separation and reduction of the amount of water in relation to the substances to be absorbed takes place during the collection, since only the uppermost layers of water are collected together with the substances floating on the surface. Accordingly, according to the invention, a skimming with a relatively low water content is achieved without any suction measures. In particular, the invention is also advantageous when there are waves, because the accumulation results in a continuous weakening of the wave energy in accordance with the gradient. The invention provides the advantageous possibility of achieving the optimum skimming depending on the respective approach speed and / or the height of the waves by changing the approach path and / or the approach angle. In particular, in the case of strong currents and high waves, a staggered or stepped collection of the substances washed up on the run-up slope can take place.

For this purpose, reference can be made to DE-OS 23 16 840, for example.
Based on the known collection containers and the Devices described at the outset for skimming off substances floating on a water surface, in particular oil, the present invention has for its object to provide a device which a high skimming performance even in rough seas possesses, also has a relatively simple and functional design and. can be used economically and is suitable for forming an oil barrier.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the floating body is at least one against the surface of the water has inclined ramp surface, in the at least a collecting opening above the waterline of the floating body is formed, which is connected to the interior of the collecting container. Here is it is particularly useful when the run-up surface extends upward from the bottom of the float. This is the beginning of the run-up surface always below the surface of the water, thereby achieving is that the developing damming wave is moved forward far in front of the run-up area and reduced so that the substances to be skimmed off can overcome the wave unhindered. Furthermore this is slope beginning below the water surface therefore advantageous, as there are also substances are detected, which are below the water surface are located.

It can also be advantageous if the collecting container has a floodable double floor and / or floodable wall passages. By flooding the raised floor and the Wallgang can change the waterline of the float at a given draft will. The floods are lowered by the flooding of the double floor and the wall passages and by pumping them, the draft can be reduced. The depth depends on the desired Distance between the first overflow edge of the receiving openings from the water surface and this in turn depends on the swell, the Flow rate and the desired oil level of the deposited oil in the collecting container are selected. At-· For example, at a flow rate of Im / sec., the draft is set in such a way that a height of approx. 70 mm to reach the first overflow edge of the collecting openings required is.
By means of the flood and lenzbaren hull spaces and the double bottom is s to keep it also possible to draft a function of the intake of the oil-water mixture in the collecting vessel constant so that the double bottom and hull spaces are emptied in the same way or pumped out as the collecting container fills, ie the amount of drained water corresponds in weight to the receiving amount of the collecting container. With these it is also possible to produce a change in the approach angle by filling the tanks opposite one another differently.
Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are contained in the dependent claims 15 to 23.

Dabei kann dann eine Verbindung zwischen dem Pumpenaggregat 8 und den Lagertanks mittels einer flexiblen Schlauchleitung erfolgen.is achieved solely by a corresponding flow of water in the direction of arrow X. The emergence of the water can also be caused by both effects at the same time. In the running surface 2 a 5 collecting opening 5 is formed. In the example shown, it is a collecting opening 5, which expediently extends over the entire width of the ramp surface 2, the ramp surface 2 practically ending at the front edge, the overflow edge 6. The collection opening 5 in the illustrated example with the interior of a collecting container 7 now verbunden.Befindet immediately on the water surface 4, a layer of abzuschöpfenden substances, in particular an oil layer s so is the current through the overflow edge 6 of oil-water mixture collected in the container. 7 Furthermore, the device according to the invention has a pump unit 8 which is used to suck off the oil or substance deposited on the water in the interior of the container. The interior of the container is directly connected to the outside water via an opening 7a, which means that the water level is automatically adjusted to the mean water level between the crest and trough in the interior. The oil extracted by the pump 8 is pumped into one or more storage tanks 9. Dabei sind Steigungen im Bereich von 1 : 10 bis 1:4 zweckmäßig.constant, but changing over the contact surface to train. For example, there can be a steeper slope in the initial area, then a reduced continuous slope, which then turns into a stronger one at the end of the run-up area Slope passes. It is also possible to use air.An-. Start the run-up surface initially with a smaller slope than in the middle area, and then in the end area again a stronger one than in the middle area To choose slope. Gradients in the range from 1:10 to 1: 4 are expedient.
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 4, the same Parts as in Fig. 1 to 3 with the same reference numerals are provided, the floating body 1 is designed as an elongated body, with a broad side is formed by the ramp 2 and on his other broadside of the machine room 12 is formed. The wall passages 10 are at least on both sides over the long side of the floating body 1 is arranged. The body ends are in the example shown as corresponding Ball joint-like or joint socket-like coupling ends 23 formed to a plurality to be able to connect float 1 according to the invention to form an oil barrier, as shown in FIG is. As already stated, the floating body 1 is equipped with drive screws 13 to improve its maneuverability and also has Anchor 24 on, on the drive wrench opposite broadside. This embodiment of the invention enables a plurality of the invention Floats with each other or in series to form a practically unlimited length of oil barrier to be coupled, namely depending on the respective size of the oil slick to be skimmed off.
