Er kann bündig oder auf Luke zu Stützwänden mit verschiedenen Böschungswinkeln versetzt werden, wobei sich die vorspringenden Stege und Absätze sowie die Mulden der einzelnen Steine so ineinander verhaken, daß sich ein absolut sicherer Verbund ergibt. Vorteilhaft ist insbesondere auch, daß die freien Zwischenräume bei den auf Luke versetzten Steinen bepflanzt werden können, was sogar bei bestimmten Versetzungsarten mit Bäumchen oder Sträuchern geschehen kann, wobei deren Wurzeln sich im Erdreich der aufgeschütteten Böschung auf der Rückseite der Stützwände verankern können.
