Eine solche Verpackung gewährleistet zwar einen sicheren Schutz für den Aufgußbeutel, jedoch wird sehr viel Verpackungsmaterial benötigt, um diese Verpackung aus dem rechteckigen Zuschnitt herzustellen. Desweiteren ist das Befüllen so wie die Entnahme eines Aufgußbeutels aus einer solchermaßen ausgestalteten Verpackung schwierig, da sich die entlang zweier Längsseiten verschlossene Verpackung durch Zusammendrücken der parallelen, verschweißten Längskanten nur wenig aufspreizen läßt.Such packaging for tea bags, especially tea bags, is known from practice.
