Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Bausatz zur Renovierung von Treppenstufen durch Anbringung eines neuen Belags auf den alten Trittstufen mit einer im Querschnitt im wesentlichen T-förmigen Profilleiste, die mit dem Steg an der senkrechten Vorderfläche einer alten Trittstufe befestigbar ist und im montierten Zustand mit dem einen Kopfschenkel die Vorderkante des Belags überdeckt und mit dem anderen die vordere Oberkante einer Frontblende übergreift, welche mittels einer Längsnut mit einer vom unteren Bereich des Stegs der Profilleiste vorspringenden Rippe in Eingriff zu bringen ist.The invention relates to a kit for renovating stair steps by applying a new covering to the old steps with a profile strip that is essentially T-shaped in cross section, which can be attached to the vertical front surface of an old step with the web and, when assembled, covers the front edge of the covering with one head leg and overlaps the front upper edge of a front panel with the other, which can be brought into engagement with a rib protruding from the lower area of the web of the profile strip by means of a longitudinal groove.
Ein derartiger Bausatz ist in der DE-GM 93 15 339.2 beschrieben. Er hat gegenüber anderen bekannten Bausätzen zum gleichen Zweck, z. B. gemäß DE-GM 92 10 963.2, DE-GM 88 09 293.3 und DE-GM 93 07 338.0, den Vorzug, daß die am stärksten dem Abrieb ausgesetzte Kante der renovierten Stufe durch eine abriebfeste, metallische Profilleiste gebildet ist, deren Maße nicht von der Dicke des auf der alten Trittstufe anzubringenden Belags abhängen, so daß dieselbe Profilleiste bei unterschiedlich dicken Belägen, z. Um diesem Mangel abzuhelfen, wird in weiterer bevorzugter Ausgestaltung der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, daß der die Frontblende übergreifende Kopfschenkel der Profilleiste im Querschnitt im wesentlichen über einen Viertelkreis massiv ausgebildet ist und nur mit einem schmalen senkrechten Vorsprung, dessen Dicke nicht größer ist als' etwa ein Viertel des Radius des Viertelkreises, die vordere Oberkante der Frontblende übergreift. Diese Maßnahme, die sich auch dann realisieren läßt, wenn von dem Vorschlag einer Einsenkung in der Rückseite der Profilleiste zur Aufnahme des senkrechten Schenkels eines L-förmigen Profils oder einer Einlegeplatte kein Gebrauch gemacht wird, hat den Vorteil, daß die Profilleiste an der am stärksten belasteten Stelle, nämlich am Übergangsbereich vom vorstehenden Kopfschenkel in den Steg, einen großen Materialquerschnitt hat.
