Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bil-. det eine Verbesserung an galvanischen Elementen nach Patent 272741, bei welchen die zur Befestigung des Deckels dienenden Schrauben an einer Umbördelung der Behälterwand befestigt sind, um ein Durchbrechen dieser Behälterwand durch die Schrauben zu vermeiden. Um eine vollständige glatte Außenfläche des Elektrodenbehälters zu besitzen, hat man die Elektroden und Befestigungsschrauben an einem Rahmen angebracht, der seinerseits mit der Umbördelung verbunden wurde. Diese Anordnung hat den Nachteil, daß der Rahmen besonders angefertigt und nachher mit dem Behälter verbunden werden muß, was mit Zeitverlust bei der Herstellung der Elementenbehälter verbunden ist und bei schlechter Verbindung schädliche Leitungswiderstände hervorruft. Ferner machte sich die Notwendigkeit geltend, der Innenfläche des Behälters an allen Stellen einen vollständigen .Kupferbelag zu geben, was bei Anordnung des Rahmens fast mit ebensolchen Schwierigkeiten verbunden ist wie bei gußeisernen, Rippen tragenden Behältern.The subject of the present invention bil- . det an improvement on galvanic elements according to patent 272741, in which the screws used to fasten the lid are fastened to a flange on the container wall in order to prevent the screws from breaking through this container wall.
