Durch Aufschrauben einer Flügelmutter auf den Stift werden die Ringenden in einer dem Durchmesser der Tortenschüssel entprechenden Stellung betätigt. Zur besseren Führung der Ringenden aneinander gleitet das innere Ringende zwischen an dem äusseren Ende angebrachten Ansätzen (d). An dem unteren Rande des Ringes sind Winkel (e) angeordnet, die die tortenschüssel tragen.
Zum Gebrauch wird die Tortenschüssel in den Ring gestellt, dieser um den Rand der Schüssel zusammengezogen und in dieser Stellung festgestellt. Alsdann können auch bei geneigter Stellung der Schüssel die Torten nicht von dieser herausgleiten. An der Aussenseite des Ringes sind mehrere Haken (f) beispielsweise 4 angebracht. In dem Transportbehälter einem Korb, einem Fahrrad, Wagen oder Automobil ist eine entsprechende Anzahl von Ketten (g) die am Boden vermittels Federn (h) be- nötigt sind, angeordnet.
