Invertentfernungsmesser mit Innenskala. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 1. September 1912 ab. Invert rangefinder with inside scale. Patented in the German Empire on September 1, 1912.
The invention relates to an inverted rangefinder which allows a measurement by observing the coincidence of upper and lower object points in the dividing line in the image field at separate observation points. Rangefinders of this type take into account the need that the certainty of the coincidence of the observed image points is greater, the more prominently the set object points emerge. In the case of objects standing in the field, these points tend to be the tips and in the case of objects floating in the air (balloons, etc.) the lower parts, which is why in the case of objects standing in the field in the case of aircraft, on the other hand, the points below are used for measurement.
The invention consists in the formation of a range finder of this type with an inner scale in such a way that the same scale can be read at both observation points.
The purpose of the invention is achieved in that, in addition to the, the dividing line in the picture field Generating eyepiece prism a reflective body is arranged, which images of the at a • Graduations attached to the scale on different routes to the two observation points directs.
A particularly simple shape is obtained if the reflection body has the shape of a flat prism, the surfaces of which can be used partly as a passage and partly as a reflective surface used, and if you also into the beam path between the scale and this Prism turns on two objectives, which the beam coming from the scale Throw it against a passage surface of the prism and in the eyepiece focal planes of the two observation points Generate scale images.
Fig. Ι schematically the optical device for achieving the purpose of the invention.
Die Fig. 2 und 3 veranschaulichen in zwei zueinander senkrechten Schnitten den mittleren Teil eines der Erfindung gemäß eingerichteten Invertentfernungsmessers.2 and 3 illustrate the middle in two mutually perpendicular sections Part of an invert rangefinder arranged in accordance with the invention.
In the arrangement according to FIG. 1, observation eyepieces are at the separate observation points 1, 2 arranged, in front of which the eyepiece prism is located. . The same is from one Rhombohedral prism 3 and a three-sided rectangular prism 4 cemented to it assumed, whereby half of the cement surface is provided with a silver coating, the at 5 is shown double-dotted.
A flat prism 6 is cemented to the ocular prism 3, 4, the surfaces 7, 8 of which have passage areas for the rays going from the scale 9 to the eyepiece 2. Between the scale 9 and the prism 6 two small lenses 10, 11 are provided which Draw images of the scale 9 in the focal planes of the two eyepieces 1, 2. The through the lens 10 outgoing rays are passed through the passage area 8 after entering the prism 6 on the reflective surfaces 12, 13 reflective
tiert, bevor sie durch die Durchgangsfläche 14 aus dem Prisma austreten und in das Okular 1 gelangen.before it passes through the passage area 14 exit the prism and enter the eyepiece 1.
The on-order shown schematically in FIG. 1 takes place in the rangefinder Fig. 2 and 3 analogous use.
The two eyepieces, through which the observation takes place in intersecting directions, are again denoted by 1, 2. In this case, too, the eyepiece prism is made of one Rhombohedral prism 3 and a three-sided right-angled prism 4 are assumed to be assembled. Two crossing prisms 15, 16 are placed in front of this eyepiece prism, through which those coming from the lenses 17, 18 Rays are fed to the eyepiece prism. The reflective bodies arranged at the base ends, which the Deflect rays coming from distant objects in the axial direction of the objectives 17, 18, are omitted from the drawing in order to illustrate what is essential to the invention To enable parts on a larger scale.
The scale is denoted by 19 and is made of a transparent, circular shape Band assumed to exist. The scale is appropriately fixed to one Glass wedge 20 connected, which in the passage of the coming from the one base end. Rays is turned on rotatably and with a second, rotatable in the opposite direction Measuring wedge 21 cooperates in a known manner. In front of the transparent scale band 19 a deflection prism 22 with reflector surface 23 is arranged, which is through the scale tape going rays against the small projection .. projection lenses 24, 25 throws. The through this Objective 24, 25 going rays fall on the reflection surface 26 of a further prism and get from here into a prism cemented to the eyepiece prism, which like is denoted by 6 in Fig. ι. Prism 6 is also. in this case, similar to that shown in Fig. 1, assumed to be provided with passage and reflection surfaces, whereby the rays, 4-5 which enter the same are fed to the eyepieces 1, 2.
The generation of images of the scale in the two eyepieces 1,. 2 takes place in the same way, as specified in more detail with reference to FIG.
Of course, the two observatories can be used for different types of observation also lie directly next to each other. The establishment can also be made like this be that at both observation points the reading of the scale does not match the observing one Eye, but takes place in a manner known per se with the other eye, since this is only necessary is that the scale images are not directly in the field of view of the observation eyepiece, but to the side of it at the distance of the non-observing eye.
