Abstract
Description
Deckel für Elektro-Stahlöfen Lid for electric steel ovens
The invention relates to a cover for electric furnaces with openings for Electrodes or exhaust ports.
z.B. e.g.
The lid of an electric steel furnace is known to be of radiant heat the contents of the furnace and that of the electric arcs. Also, the hot exhaust gases discharged through an opening in the lid. The result is an extraordinary one Heat load on such covers of electric steel furnaces, which are briefly described below Electric ovens are called.
Because of this strong heat load, the Furnace lid as a brick vault made of refractory bricks and it is usually a narrow cross-section to absorb the radial arch pressure Steel cover ring provided. However, this is located on the outer edge of the Lid, practically already outside the sphere of influence of the interior of the electric furnace and it is cooled with water.
These known brick lids of electric steel furnaces have considerable Disadvantages on. Their service life is only short and can also be due to the risk of collapse are not fully used for the vault of the lid. It must, therefore, especially if the furnace is operated at high operating power, often after just a few Days to be exchanged. This is the lining of such a furnace lid very expensive and there are considerable downtimes in the electric steel furnace.
There is therefore the task of providing a cover for such electric furnaces to create in which the aforementioned disadvantages are largely avoided. In particular should cover both the total manufacturing and operating costs as well as the downtime of the electric furnace can be significantly reduced without affecting the rest of the way in which it works is drastically impaired.
To solve this problem, the invention proposes a cover of the The type mentioned at the outset suggests that this cover consists essentially of a coolant guide having steel cover, the lower cover surface is essentially free of masonry facing the inside of the oven and cooled practically over its entire surface.
One already knew, individual, from the area and / or Manufacture and cool parts of steel that are less at risk from the heat load, as is the case, for example, with the cover ring mentioned at the beginning. try have now surprisingly shown that the execution of such a lid as a completely welded steel construction with a brick lining on the underside of the lid is waived, with appropriate cooling of the thermal load over a longer period of time Time has grown and that it is despite the expenses for the relatively large area Water cooling still leads to considerable reductions in the effort compared to the previously known brick oven lids.
Additional developments of the invention are in the subclaims listed. To claim 5 is to be mentioned: Also with the previously known masonry Lids were already ring-shaped openings for the electrodes and for the exhaust gas connections walled into the vault of the lid. However, these were completely uncooled from the effects of heat exposed. By lining the exhaust gas nozzle or the openings for the electrodes according to the invention one achieves with such a lid that this too Lining are exposed to cooling and thus achieve a longer service life for these linings.
The following is the invention with its essential details explained and described in more detail with reference to the drawing. It shows in severely shamed Representation Fig. 1 is a radial section through a previously known, masonry Lid of an electric steel furnace, FIG. 2 shows a radial cross section similar to FIG. 1 through a cover according to the invention, FIG. 3 is a plan view of a cover according to the invention Lid according to FIG. 2, FIG. 4 shows a radial cross section through an essentially flat cover according to the section line IV-IV in Fig. 5, Fig. 5 is a plan view on a cover according to Fig. 4 or 6 which has an insert cover, Fig. 6 shows a cross section through a cover according to section line IV - IV in FIG 5, with the insert cover removed and the cover with a modified cross-sectional profile and, on an enlarged scale and in T & 1 cross-section, FIG. 7 shows a detail FIG. 4 and FIG. 8 show an embodiment that is somewhat modified compared to FIG. 7.
In Fig. 1, 10 is the wall, indicated by dashed lines, of an electric steel furnace 1 . It has a conventional cover designated as a whole by 2. This exists essentially made of a brick made of refractory bricks 3 Vaulted ceiling, which rests on the wall 10 of the furnace. The radial pressure of this vaulted ceiling is received by a cover ring 4, which consists of a welded steel structure which is hollow inside and is cooled with water. For the (the better overview for the sake of not shown) electrodes and for the exhaust gas connection are in cross-section circular openings 5 are provided in the cover 2. These are each ring-shaped Lining 6 formed, which is introduced into the vault lining.
Die Anordnung einer solchen Kühlwasserführung sorgt dann für eine gleichmäßige und zuverlässige Kühlung.FIG. 2 then shows a radial longitudinal section corresponding to FIG. 1 by a cover 20 according to the invention. This consists essentially of a Lid base 215 on which radially arranged ribs 22 are provided. Also wears the lid 20 has a cover 23 which, together with the lid base 21, forms the cooling water space 24 forms. The entire cover 20 is made as a welded steel structure. A lining of the underside of the lid with refractory bricks or the like. not applicable. For this, the lower cover surface 26 facing the inner rim of the furnace 1 is on its entire surface area cooled with water. The static strength of the Cover 20 ribs 22, which are required anyway, are in this case in a suitable manner as guides of the cooling water flow. The arrangement of such a cooling water supply then ensures even and reliable cooling.
In FIGS. 2 and 3 one can also see the cover openings 5 for receiving of electrodes (not shown) or for the exhaust gas nozzle. These openings 5 are provided with a lining 25, which is in the immediate vicinity of the hlwasserraumes 24 of the lid 20 is located. Therefore, they are also cooled and reach higher levels Service lives than the comparable brick lining 5 in the case of the previously known brickwork Lid.
The cover 20 according to FIG. 2 is also curved.
Nach einer etwas abgewandelten Konstruktion (vgl. Fig. 4) ist der Deckelben ausgebildet. According to a slightly modified construction (see. Fig. 4) is the Lidben formed. This is advantageous for reasons of space saving. It however, the electrodes or their openings 5 or the exhaust gas nozzle can be arranged parallel to each other, as FIGS. 4 and 5 show well. One Another, somewhat modified embodiment is shown in FIG. 6. There is the cross-section of the lid formed larger towards the middle. This results in advantages for the cooling water flow. At the same time, such a cross-section corresponds to the static load.
In Fig. 4 and 5 you can see the usual ring-shaped lining 25, which are used, for example, to isolate the electrodes from one another and from the Lid 20 are necessary.
The flue gas nozzle, which is not specifically identified, is marked accordingly an annular lining 25 is provided.
An essential development of the invention is shown in FIGS and 8 to be recognized. The lining 25 for the cover openings 5 is namely still arranged in a special insert part 30. This one after a special simple training according to the invention from a somewhat conically drawn-in ring 31 is in turn exchangeable in a correspondingly designed insert opening 32 of the lid 20 is provided. You can then make the ring-shaped linings 25 in Keep a suitable number in stock and replace if necessary. Fig. 8 shows for example, such an insert part 30 shortly before being inserted into the lid 20, FIG. 7 shows how such an insert part 30 is inserted.
With this measure, the downtimes of the furnace 1 become complete considerably shortened.
A further development of the invention is shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 can be seen in connection with Figures 7 and 8: The lining is accordingly 25 for several openings 5 in a special insert cover 40 arranged together.
Fig.7 und 8). This in turn is arranged in a corresponding insert opening 41, which can be seen particularly well in FIG. 6. It can also be seen in FIG. 4 how the entire insert cover 40 is located within this insert opening 41 in cover 20. It can also be seen that the insert cover 40 has its own cooling water space 22 a owns. The edge of the insert cover 40 or the associated insert opening 41 is then formed analogously to the insert opening 32 for the insert part 30 (see Fig. 7 and 8). The cooling water space 22a of the insert cover 40 then has (not shown in detail) Connections for the cooling water so that it can be connected to the cooling water circuit can be.
In Fig. 8, 33 denotes the mortar layer for the brick lining 25. This mortar layer can also consist of or contain rammed earth or asbestos In the left part of FIG. 4, an additional development can be seen clearly. there a Schaniottschicht 35 is provided on the upper side of the cover 20a Ovens are namely dust deposits on the top of the cover 20 unmeldleh and these dust deposits can affect the insulation of the electrodes. Therefore it is advisable to cover the top of the steel lid with a thin one Layer of firebrick 35 or to cover with a similar, electrically insulating layer. This increases the risk of electrical flashovers caused by dust deposits reduced.
To fix this firebrick layer has to the top of the lid cover 23 a holding mat 36 is provided, which is indicated in a highly schematic manner in FIG. 5. It consists of a steel mesh atte that is attached to the top of the cover 20 is and the fireclay layer 35 gives the necessary support. This is schematized in FIG. 7 and increased in radial section compared to the other dimensions of the cover indicated There is an additional development of the invention in that the cooling water space 24 of the cover 20 is divided into several sectors 36 is. In FIG. 5, one can see a sector shown broken away in the drawing 36 recognize, which makes up one eighth of the total cover area. The subdivision takes place by means of what is required anyway for the supporting structure for static reasons Ribs 22. In this way, self-contained sectors 36 are obtained with regard to the cooling, each of which has its own cooling water supply. This achieves that Zones of the cover 20 that are exposed to different thermal loads, too can be cooled accordingly differently. As a result, on the one hand, the inner Tensions of the lid kept low, on the other hand the amount of cooling water economical can be used. In Fig. 5 further ribs 22 are then indicated schematically, which, as already mentioned, can be used to guide the cooling water. In the embodiment described above, the design of the cover cross-section is particularly important according to Fig. 6 before -teilhaft, which has a greater height towards the middle. As mentioned, This is advantageous in terms of both strength and cooling water flow. In connection with the configuration of the sector 36, one can now see particularly well the interaction: And one can through the appropriate choice of that which becomes larger towards the middle Cover cross-section ensure that the flow cross-sections for the cooling water remain at least approximately the same as desired. This applies to both one cooling water space 24 divided into sectors 36 as well as, if a single, mutually communicating cooling water space is provided. In the sectoral Division of the cover is the equalization of the cooling water flow by appropriate However, the choice of the cover cross-section is particularly advantageous. We d the adaptation too the cooling to the different heat load thereby favored.
In Fig. 5 and 6, a vent port is indicated schematically 39, which is arranged in the highest area of the cooling water space 24 in each case is. In multi-sector training 36, there is one in each sector Ventilation nozzle for the cooling water space 24 is provided. This allows the cooling water space 24 or each individual sector 36 can be easily and safely vented by him, what is essential for good cooling.
It should also be mentioned that the embodiments according to claim 6 or 7 are optional can be carried out individually or in combination with one another. So it can too the insert cover 40 in turn again have insert parts 30 which, if necessary in: it can be exchanged. This is an adaptation of the substitute particularly easy to the respective wear.
The insert part 30 in FIG. 8 with the somewhat conically tapering one In addition, ring 31 shows in somewhat more detail, such as such a brick lining a non-interchangeable arrangement can be made: The brick lining 25 is made against a slightly tapered ring part belonging to the lid, for example, as if the ring part 31 in FIG. 7 belongs to the cover 20.
All features described above or listed in the claims can be essential to the invention individually or in any combination with one another.
