Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet eine Deckelheizung für Dampfmaschinen, welche sich von den bisherigen Konstruktionen insbesondere dadurch unterscheidet, daß an einem oder beiden Zylinderenden der Verschluß durch je zwei voneinander unabhängige, einem inneren und einem äußeren Deckel erfolgt, zwischen welch beiden hindurch erst der Frischdampf strömen muß, bevor er in den Arbeitszylinder gelangt.
