Abstract

The scaffolding comprises uprights, and cross-bars to which platform boards can be attached. The uprights are in two parts, a bottom tubular unit standing on the ground and a carrier tube set on this and movable lengthways, with the cross-bar, pref. curved upwards at its end, fixed to it. A clamp at the open end of the latter can be fastened to the protruding roof rafters. Sockets may be used for vertical post adjustment, the base post being about 6 m long and the upper one about 5 m. Height adjustment and fixing in place are simplified.
