Abstract

Prozess zum Herstellen eines Produkts, wobei das Produkt aus erneuerbarem Wasserstoff und einem unter Verwendung des erneuerbaren Wasserstoffs hergestellten Produkt ausgewählt ist, wobei der Prozess Folgendes umfasst:Bereitstellen von Biogas, wobei das Biogas Methan und Kohlenstoffdioxid umfasst;Entfernen von mindestens 50 % des Kohlenstoffdioxids aus dem Biogas, wodurch aufbereitetes Biogas hergestellt wird;Transportieren des aufbereiteten Biogases zu einer Wasserstoffanlage;Verarbeiten des aufbereiteten Biogases in der Wasserstoffanlage zum Herstellen von Synthesegas, wobei das Verarbeiten das Bereitstellen von zumindest etwas des transportierten aufbereiteten Biogases als Ausgangsmaterial für die Methanreformierung umfasst,wobei das Synthesegas Kohlenstoffdioxid und Wasserstoff umfasst; undReinigung von zumindest einem von dem Synthesegas oder einem von dem Synthesegas stammenden Strom, um erneuerbaren Wasserstoff herzustellen, und Bereitstellen einer Menge des Erneuerbaren,wobei der Prozess ferner Folgendes umfasst:a) Abscheiden und Speichern einer ersten Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid, wobei das Kohlenstoffdioxid in der ersten Menge aus dem Biogas entfernt wird; undb) Abscheiden und Speichern einer zweiten Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid, wobei das Kohlenstoffdioxid in der zweiten Menge aus zumindest einem von (i') dem Synthesegas oder (ii') einem von dem Synthesegas zumindest teilweise stammenden Strom entfernt wird, und wobei die Menge an erneuerbarem Wasserstoff eine Kohlenstoffintensität von weniger als 0 gCO2-eq/MJ aufweist, undwobei die Kohlenstoffintensität von den Schritten a) und b) abhängig ist.

Claims (15)

  1. Prozess zum Herstellen eines Produkts, wobei das Produkt aus erneuerbarem Wasserstoff und einem unter Verwendung des erneuerbaren Wasserstoffs hergestellten Produkt ausgewählt ist, wobei der Prozess Folgendes umfasst: Bereitstellen von Biogas, wobei das Biogas Methan und Kohlenstoffdioxid umfasst; Entfernen von mindestens 50 % des Kohlenstoffdioxids aus dem Biogas, wodurch aufbereitetes Biogas hergestellt wird; Transportieren des aufbereiteten Biogases zu einer Wasserstoffanlage; Verarbeiten des aufbereiteten Biogases in der Wasserstoffanlage zum Herstellen von Synthesegas, wobei das Verarbeiten das Bereitstellen von zumindest etwas des transportierten aufbereiteten Biogases als Ausgangsmaterial für die Methanreformierung umfasst, wobei das Synthesegas Kohlenstoffdioxid und Wasserstoff umfasst; und Reinigung von zumindest einem von dem Synthesegas oder einem von dem Synthesegas stammenden Strom, um erneuerbaren Wasserstoff herzustellen, und Bereitstellen einer Menge des Erneuerbaren, wobei der Prozess ferner Folgendes umfasst: a) Abscheiden und Speichern einer ersten Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid, wobei das Kohlenstoffdioxid in der ersten Menge aus dem Biogas entfernt wird; und b) Abscheiden und Speichern einer zweiten Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid, wobei das Kohlenstoffdioxid in der zweiten Menge aus zumindest einem von (i') dem Synthesegas oder (ii') einem von dem Synthesegas zumindest teilweise stammenden Strom entfernt wird, und wobei die Menge an erneuerbarem Wasserstoff eine Kohlenstoffintensität von weniger als 0 gCO2-eq/MJ aufweist, und wobei die Kohlenstoffintensität von den Schritten a) und b) abhängig ist.
  2. Prozess nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Produkt den erneuerbaren Wasserstoff umfasst.
  3. Prozess nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Bereitstellen der Menge des erneuerbaren Wasserstoffs das Bereitstellen des erneuerbaren Wasserstoffs zum Herstellen des Produkts umfasst.
  4. Prozess nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Produkt Kraftstoff umfasst, und wobei der Prozess das Bereitstellen der Menge an erneuerbarem Wasserstoff als Ausgangsmaterial für einen Kraftstoffherstellungsprozess umfasst, der das Hydrieren von aus Rohöl stammendem flüssigem Kohlenwasserstoff mit dem erneuerbaren Wasserstoff umfasst, um den Kraftstoff herzustellen.
  5. Prozess nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Produkt Kraftstoff umfasst und wobei der Prozess das Bereitstellen der Menge an erneuerbarem Wasserstoff als Ausgangsmaterial für einen Kraftstoffherstellungsprozess umfasst, der das Hydrieren eines erneuerbaren Ausgangsmaterials, ausgewählt aus erneuerbarem Öl, erneuerbarem Fett oder einer Kombination davon, umfasst.
  6. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, wobei die Menge an erneuerbarem Wasserstoff eine Kohlenstoffintensität aufweist, die -20 gCO2-eq/MJ nicht überschreitet.
  7. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei das Speichern der ersten Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid und das Speichern der zweiten Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid eine geologische Sequestrierung umfasst.
  8. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei das Ausgangsmaterial für die Methanreformierung ferner Gas auf fossiler Basis umfasst.
  9. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, wobei das Entfernen von mindestens 50 % des Kohlenstoffdioxids aus dem Biogas das Entfernen von zwischen 55 % und 90 % des Kohlenstoffdioxids aus dem Biogas umfasst.
  10. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, wobei das Abscheiden und Speichern einer zweiten Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid das Abtrennen des Kohlenstoffdioxids vom Wasserstoff im Synthesegas umfasst.
  11. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, wobei beim Verarbeiten des aufbereiteten Biogases in der Wasserstoffanlage Rauchgas hergestellt wird, und wobei das Kohlenstoffdioxid aus dem Rauchgas nicht zur Kohlenstoffabscheidung und -speicherung bereitgestellt wird.
  12. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, wobei beim Verarbeiten des aufbereiteten Biogases in der Wasserstoffanlage Rauchgas hergestellt wird, und wobei das Kohlenstoffdioxid in der zweiten Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid Kohlenstoffdioxid umfasst, das aus dem Synthesegas und aus dem Rauchgas abgeschieden wurde.
  13. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12, wobei die zweite Menge an Kohlenstoffdioxid mindestens 50 % des Kohlenstoffs in dem transportierten aufbereiteten Biogas umfasst, das als Ausgangsmaterial für die Methanreformierung bereitgestellt wird.
  14. Prozess nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13, wobei das Biogas Deponiegas ist.
  15. Prozess zum Herstellen von erneuerbarem Wasserstoff mit geringer Kohlenstoffintensität, wobei der Prozess Folgendes umfasst: Herstellen von Wasserstoff aus einem Wasserstoffherstellungsprozess, wobei ein Ausgangsmaterial für den Wasserstoffherstellungsprozess aufbereitetes Biogas umfasst, wobei das aufbereitete Biogas in einem Prozess hergestellt wird, der Folgendes umfasst: (i) Unterziehen von Biomasse einer anaeroben Vergärung, wodurch Biogas und Gärrückstände hergestellt werden, wobei das Biogas Methan und Kohlenstoffdioxid umfasst, (ii) Unterziehen des Biogases einer Biogasaufbereitung, wodurch mindestens 50 % des Kohlenstoffdioxids aus dem Biogas entfernt und aufbereitetes Biogas hergestellt wird, (iii) Transportieren des aufbereiteten Biogases, und (iv) Bereitstellen von aus der Biomasse stammendem, kohlenstoffhaltigem Material zur Speicherung als Teil eines ersten Kohlenstoffabscheidungs- undspeicherungsprozesses, wobei das kohlenstoffhaltige Material Kohlenstoffdioxid aus dem Biogas umfasst, wobei der Wasserstoffherstellungsprozess Folgendes umfasst: (a) Unterziehen des Ausgangsmaterials einer Methanreformierung, um Synthesegas herzustellen, das Kohlenstoffdioxid und Wasserstoff umfasst, (b) Reinigen eines Stroms, der aus dem Synthesegas und einem aus dem Synthesegas stammenden Strom ausgewählt ist, um Wasserstoff herzustellen, der erneuerbaren Wasserstoff umfasst, und (c) Bereitstellen des bei der Wasserstoffherstellung hergestellten Kohlenstoffdioxids zur Speicherung als Teil eines zweiten Kohlenstoffabscheidungs- und - speicherungsprozesses, wobei eine Kohlenstoffintensität des erneuerbaren Wasserstoffs als ein Ergebnis der Schritte (iv) und (c) reduziert wird.
