und zweikeiinblättrigen tlnkr'äutern unter Verwendung der
neuen Wirkstoffe oder «der sie enthaltenden Mittel.

ein- oder mehrfach durch Chlor substituiert sein, Alkoxyr
,alkoxyreste sind ebenfalls nieder molekular, wie Methoxygthoxy,
AetfeaxygthOxy ötc. Niedere Alkylreste mit 1 bis
4 Kohlenstoffatomen in gerader oder verzweigter Kette stellen den Alkyiteil eines Alkylthio-Restes IRj^R2,H3) , oder
eines Dialkyl;aiiiiEii3E'-Restes #^3) dar. Splehe Substituenten
können diethyl, Aethyl» Propyl, IsQpropyl sowie n-Äityl
und seine \Escnaeife sein. Biese niederen Alkylreste und diie

im Vorangehenden aufgeführten Alkoxy-Reste können auch als Substituenten R, und R in Betracht gezogen werden.
Von den Halogenalkylresten (R,, ^c) kommt insbesondere
der Trifluormethyl-Rest in Frage. Halogen als Rest R, und R1- kann Brom, Chlor, Fluor oder Jod sein; X steht
für Chlor oder Brom. Aus den Resten R, und R? können
gemeinsam mit dem Phosphoratom fünf- oder sechsgliedrige heterocyclische Ringe gebildet werden, die ausserdem noch
mindestens ein Stickstoff-, Sauerstoff- und/oder Schwefelatom als Ringglied aufweisen.
Bevorzugt sind solche Pyridazonderivate der Formel I, in denen alle drei Reste R,, R„ und R„, aber zumindest
die Reste R1 und R„ identisch sind. Als besonders wirksam
haben sich dabei jene Pyridazonderivate erwiesen, in welchen die Reste R, bis R„ durch identische Chloralkoxy;
Alkylthio- und insbesondere durch identische Alkoxyreste mit 1 bis 3 C-Atomen verkörpert sind und die Reste R, und
R1. beide Wasserstoff bedeuten oder der eine Wasserstoff
und der andere die Trifluormethylgruppe ist. Der Substituent
X in 5-Stellung kann Chlor oder Brom sein, wobei Brom oft als bevorzugter Substituent zu gelten hat.

zwischen -10 und 50 C.
Die Ausgangsstoffe der Formel II sind teilweise bekannt, das l-Phenyl-4-azido-5-chlor-6(lH)-pyridazon aus
der US-Patentschrift 3 210 354 und das l-Phenyl-4-azido-5-brom-6(lH)-pyridazon
aus CA. _7°_> 47382 m. Die im Phenylrest substituierten Azidopyridazone wurden bisher
nicht beschrieben; sie können jedoch nach den in den Zitaten beschriebenen Verfahren erhalten werden.
Ein weiteres Verfahren zur Herstellung der neuen Pyridazonderivate der Formel I besteht darin, dass

9 g l-Phenyl-4-azido-5-chIor-6(lH)-pjridazon werden in
Methylenehlorid gelöst. Hierzu gibt man unter Rühren
4,6 g Trimethylphospbit. Die Reaktion vollzieht sieb
unter Se Ib st erwärmung tind Stickstoff entwicklung. Nach
15 Minuten wird das Methylencblorid abdestilliert und
feste Rückstand aus Methanol umkristallisiert.

Die Pyridazon-Derivate der Formel I besitzen ausgezeichnete herbizide Eigenschaften und sind besonders zur
Bekämpfung von grasartigen und breitblättrigen Unkräutern in verschiedenen Kulturpflanzungen geeignet. In hohen Konzentrationen
angewendet, wirken die neuen Verbindungen als Totalherbizide, in niederen dagegen als selektive Herbizide.
Von den Wirkstoffen der Formel I werden schwer bekünrpfbare und tiefwurzelnde, ein- oder mehrjährige Unkrautarten mit
gutem Erfolg im Wachstum geschädigt oder vernichtet. Die Applikation der neuen Wirkstoffe kann mit dem gleichen
guten Erfolg vor dem Auflaufen (preemergence) und nach dem Auflaufen (postemergence) erfolgen. So können Ackerunkraut
er, wie z.B. Ilirsearten (Panicum spp.), Senf arten (Sinapis spp,), Gänsefussarten (Chenopodiaceae), Ackerfuehßschwanz
(Alopecurus spp.) und andere Fuchsschwanzarten, z.B. Amarantus spp., Gräser, z.B. Lolium spp., Korbblütler,
z.B. Taraxacum spp., Karaillearten (Matricaria spp.), vernichtet
oder im Wachstum behiiidert werden, ohne dass bei Nutzpflanzen, wie Getreide, Mais, Baumwolle, Sorghum, Soyabohnen
und Zuckerrliben Schäden hervorgerufen werden.
Die Aufwandmengen sind verschieden und vom Applikationszeitpunkt abhängig, sie liegen zwischen 0;l bis 10 kg Wirkstoff
pro Hektar, bei Applikation vor dem Auflaufen der Pflanzen bis zu 1 kg Wirkstoff pro Hektar und nach dem
Auflaufen der Pflanzen bei 3 bis 10 kg Wirkstoff pro Hektar, wobei für eine solche totale Vernichtung des gesamten
Unkrautbescandes, beispielsweise auf dem Kulturland benachbarten Brachland, mehr als 10 kg Wirkstoff pro Hektar angewendet werden müssen. Die übliche Fruchtfolge kann bei Anwendung
der neuen Wirkstoffe ohne Beeinträchtigung erfolgen.

Herbizide Wirkung bei Applikation, vor dem Auflaufen
der Pflanzen (preemergence-Applikatlon)
a) Der Wirkstoff wird als 10 7oiges Pulverkonzentrat in
einer solchen Menge in Gartenerde eingearbeitet, dass nach dem Ausbreiten der Erde die Konzentration 3 g
Wirkstoff pro m Erde beträgt. (z.B.. 60 mg Wirkstoff
pro Liter Erde, 5 cm tief} In die vorbereitete
Erde werden folgende Testpflanzen in Schalen gesät:
Solanuin Lycopersianum
Setaria italica
Avena sativa . ·
Lolium perenne
Sinapis alba . .
Vicia sativa.
Die Schalen werden"dann im Gewächshaus bei 22Ö-25Q
und 50 bis 70 % relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit unter Tageslicht gehalten. Die Auswertung der Versuche
erfolgt nach 20 Tagen.
Bonitierung: 9 = Pflanzen ungeschädigt - Kontrolle
1 = Pflanzen abgestorbeii
2-8 = Zwischenstufen der Schädigung.

b) Unmittelbar nach der Einsaat der Testpflanzen werden
, -· die Wirkstoffe als wässrige Suspensionen, erhalten
aus einem 25 %igen Spritzpulver auf die Erdoberfäche
appliziert. Dann werden die Saatschalen bei 22-23° und 50-70 % relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit gehalten.
Nach 28 Tagen wird der Versuch ausgewertet.

Zur Herstellung von herbiziden Mitteln werden die
Wirkstoffe mit geeigneten Trägerstoffen und/oder Verteilungsmitteln vermischt. Zur Verbreiterung des Wirkungsspektrums

Die Herstellung erfindungsgemässer Mittel erfolgt in
an sich bekannter Weise durch inniges Vermischen und Vermählen von Wirkstoffen der allgemeinen Formel I mit geeigneten
Trägerstoffen, gegebenenfalls unter Zusatz von
gegenüber den Wirkstoffen iaerten Dispers ions- oder Lösungsmitteln.
Die Wirkstoffe können in den folgenden Aufarbeitungsformen vorliegen und angewendet werden:
feste Aufarbeitungs formen: Stäubemittel·, Streumittel, Granulate,
UmhUllungsgranulate, Imprägnierungsgranulate
und Ilomogengx'anulate;
in Wasser dispergierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate: Spritzpulver,
(wettable powder), Pasten, Emuls ionen;
flüssige Aufarbeitungsformen: Lösungen.
Zur Herstellung fester Aufarbeitungsformen (Stäube- .
mittel, Streumittel, Granulate) werden die Wirkstoffe mit festen Trägers tof fen vermischt. Als Tra'gerstoffe kommen
zum Beispiel Kaolin, Talkum, Bolus, Löss, Kreide, Kalkstein, Kalkgrits, Ataclay, Dolomit, Diatomeenerde, gefa'llte
Kieselsäure, Er-dalkalisilikate, Natrium- und Kaliumaluminiums
ilikate (Feldspate und Glimmer), Calcium- und Magnesiumsulfate, Magnesiumoxid, gemahlene Kunststoffe,
Düngemittel, wie .Ammoniumsulfat, Ammoniumphosphat,
Ammoniumnitrat, Harnstoff, gemahlene pflanzliche Produkte, wie Getreideinehl/ Baumrindemehl, Holzmehl, Nusschalenmehl,
Cellulcsepulver, Rückstände von Pflanzenextraktionen, Aktivkohle
etc., je für sich oder als Mischungen untereinander in Frage.
Die Korngrösse der Trägerstoffe beträgt für Stäube-

mittel zweckmässig bis ca. 0,1 mm, für Streumittel ca.
0,075 bis 0,2 mm und fUr Granulate 0,2 mm oder mehr.
Die Wirkstoff konzeiitra tionen in den festen Aufar*-
beitungsformen betragen 0,5 bis· 80 %.
Diesen Gemischen können -ferner den Wirkstoff stabilisierende
Zusätze und/oder nichtionische, anionenaktive und kationenaktive Stoffe zugegeben werden, die beispielsweise
die Haftfestigkeit der Wirkstoffe auf Pflanzen und
Pflanzenteile!! verbessern (Haft- und Klebemittel) und/oder
eine bessere Benetzbarkeit (Netzmittel) sowie Disper-gierbarkeit (Dispergatoren) gewährleisten". Als Klebemittel
kommen beispielsweise die folgenden in Frage: Olein-Kalk-Mischung-,
Cellulosederivate (Methylcellulose, Carboxymethylcellulose)
, Hydroxyäthylenglykoläther von Mono- und Dialkylphenolen mit 5-15 Aethylenoxidresten pro Molekül
und 8-9 Kohlenstoffatomen imAlkylrest, Ligninsulfonsäure,
deren Alkali- und Erdalkalisalze, Polyä'thylenglykoläther
(Carbowaxe) , Fettalkoholpo^glykoläther mit 5 - 20 Aethylenoxidresten
pro Molekül und 8-18 Kohlenstoffatomen im
Fettalkoholteii, Kondensationsprodukte von Aethylenoxid,
Propylenoxidj Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Polyvinylalkohole, Kondensationsprodukte
von Harnstoff-Formaldehyd sowie Latex-Produkte.
In Wasser dispergierbare Wirkstoffkonzentrate, d. h.
Spritzpulver (wettable powder), Pasten und Emulsionskonzentrate stellen Mittel dar, die mit Wasser auf jede gewUnschte
Konzentration verdünnt werden können. Sie bestehen aus Wirkstoff, Trägerstoff, gegebenenfalls den Wirkstoff stabilisierenden
Zusätzen, oberflächenaktiven Substanzen und Antischaurnmitteln und gegebenenfalls Lösungsmitteln. Die
Wirkstoffkonzentration in diesen Mitteln betrügt 5 - 80 %.

Die Spritzpulver (wettable powder) und Pasten werden erhalten, indem man die Wirkstoffe mit Dispergiermitteln
und pulverförmigen Trägerstoffen in geeigneten Vorrichtungen
bis zur Homogenität vermischt und vermahlt.. Als Trägerstoffe
kommen beispielsweise die vorstehend für die festen Aufarbeitungsformen erwähnten in Frage. In manchen Fällen ist
es vorteilhaft, Mischungen verschiedener Trägerstoffe zu verwenden. .Als Dispergatoren können beispielsweise verweil- '
det werden: Kondensations produkte von sulfonierten! Naphthalin und sulfonierten Kaphthalinderivaten mit Formaldehyd,
Kondensationsprodukte des Naphthalins bzw. der Naphthalinsulfonsäuren
mit Phenol und Formaldehyd sowie'Alkali-,
Ammonium- und Erdalkalisalze von Ligninsulfonsäure, weiter
Alkylarylsulfonate, Alkali- und Erdalkalimetallsalze der -■'■■■-■
Dibutylnaphthalinsulfonsäure, Fettalkoholsulfate, wie
Salze sulfatierter Hexadecanole, Heptadecanole, Octadecanole
und Salze von sulfatiertem Fettalkoholglykoläther, das Natriumsalz
von Oleylmethyltaurid, ditertiäre Acetylenglykole,
Dialkyldilaurylammoniumchlorid und fettsaure Alkali.- und
Erdalkalisalze.
Als Antischaummittel kommen zum Beispiel Silicone in Frage.
Die Wirkstoffe werden mit den oben aufgeführLen Zusätzen
so vermischt, vermählen, gesiebt und passiert, dass bei den Spritzpulvern der feste Anteil eine Korngrösse von
0,02 bis 0,04 und bei den Pasten von 0,03 rani nicht Überschreitet.
Zur Herstellung von Emulsionskonzentraten und Pasten werden Dispergiermittel, wie sie in den vorangehenden
Abschnitten aufgeführt wurden, organische Lösungsmittel
und Wasser verwendet. Als Lösungsmittel komincn beispielsweise
die folgenden in Frage: Alkohole, Benzol, Xylole,

Toluol, DimethyIsulfoxid und im Bereich von 120° bis 350°
siedende Mineralölfraktionen. Die Lösungsmittel mlissen praktisch geruchlos, nicht phytotoxisch, den Wirkstoffen
gegenüber inert und dürfen nicht leicht brennbar sein.
Ferner können die erfindungsgema"ssen Mittel in Form
von Lösungen angewendet -werden. Hierzu wird der Wirkstoff
bzw. werden mehrere Wirkstoffe der allgemeinen Formel I in geeigneten organischen Lösungsmitteln, Lösungsmittel-■
gemischen oder" Wasser gelöst. Als organische Lösungsmittel können aliphatische und aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe,
deren chlorierte Derivate, Alkylnaj)hthaline, Mineralöle
allein oder als Mischung·untereinander verwendet werden·
Die Lösungen sollen die Wirkstoffe in einem Konzentrations bereich
von 1 bis 20 % enthalten.
Den beschriebenen erfindungsgemessen Mitteln lassen
sich andere biozide Wirkstoffe oder Mittel beimischen. So können die neuen Mittel ausscr den genannten Verbindungen
der allgemeinen Formel I zum Beispiel Insektizide, Fungizide, Bakterizide, Fungistatika, Bakteriostatika oder
Nematozide zur Verbreiterung des Wirkungsspektrums enthalten.
Die erfindungsgemässen Mittel können ferner noch Pf lanzendtinger, Spurenelemente usw. enthalten. .
Im folgenden werden Aufarbeitungsformen der neuen
Wirkstoffe der allgemeinen Formel I beschrieben. Teile bedeuten Gewichtsteile.

Granulat
Zur Herstellung eines 5 %igen Granulates werden die
folgenden Stoffe verwendet:
5 Teile l~Phenyl-4-(dimethöxy--dimethylamino-
pho sphoranyliden-amino)-5 - chlor- 6 (IH)-pyridazon,
0,25 Teile Epichlorhydrin,
0,25 Teile Cetylpolyglykola-ther,
3,50 Teile Polyäthylenglykol,
Teile Kaolin (Korngrösse 0,3 bis O5S ταπί)
Die Aktivsubstanz wir-d mit Epichlorhydrin vermischt
und in 6 Teilen Aceton gelöst, hierauf wird Polyäthylenglykol und Cetylpolyglykolätber zugesetzt. Die so erhaltene
Lösung wird auf Kaolin aufgesprüht und anschliessend im
Vakuum verdampft.

5 Teile Natriumdibutylnaphthylsulfonat,
3 Teile Naphthalinsulf ons'ciur en-Phenolsulf onsäuren-Formaldehyd-Kondensat
3 : 2 : 1,
20 Teile Kaolin,
22 Teile Champagne-Kreide;
b) 25 Teile l-Phenyl~4-(tris~methoxy-phosphoranyliden~
amino) -5--brom-6 (IH) -pyridazon,
5 Teile Oleylmethyltaurid-Na-SaIz,
2,5 Teile Naphthalinsulfonsäuren-Formaldehyd-Kondensat,
0,5 Teile Carboxymethylcellulose,
5 Teile neutrales Kalium-Aluminiumsilikat,
62 Teile Kaolin;
c) 10 Teile l-Phenyl-4-(tris-n-butoxy-phosphoranyliden-
amino)-5-chlor-6(IH)-pyridazon,
3 Teile Gemisch der Natriumsalze von gesättigten Fettalkoholsulfaten,
5 Teile Näphthalinsulfonsäuren-Formaldehyd-Kondensat,
82 Teile Kaolin.
Der angegebene Wirkstoff wird auf die entsprechenden Trägerstoffe (Kaolin und Kreide) aufgezogen und anschiessend
vermischt tind vermählen. Man erh'ai t Spritzpulver von

vorzüglicher Benetzbarkeit und Schwebefähigkeit. Aus solchen Spritzpulvern können durch Verdünnen mit Wasser Suspensionen
jeder gewünschten Wirkstoffkonzentration erhalten werden. Derartige Suspensionen werden zur Bekämpfung von
Unkräutern und Ungräsern in Kulturpflanzungen verwendet.

Paste - . '
Zur Herstellung einer 45 Xigen Paste werden folgende
Stoffe verwendet :
45 Teile l-Phenyl-4-(tris-methoxy-pbosphoranyliden~
amino)*5-chlor*6(1H)-pyridazon,
5 Teile Natriumaluminiumsilikat,
14 Teile Getylpolyglykolather mit '8 Mol Aethylenoxyd,
1 Teil Qleylpolyglykorather mit 5 Mol Aethylenoxid,
2 Teile Spindelöle
10 Teile Polyäthylenglykol, 23 Teile Wasser·
Der Wirkstoff wird mit oen Zuschlagstoffen in dazu
geeigneten Geräten innig vermischt und vermählen. Man
erhält eine Paste, aus der sich durch Verdünnen mit Wasser Suspensionen jeder gewünschten Konzentration herstellen
lassen. Die Suspensionen eignen sich zur Behandlung von GemUsepf1anzungen.

Zur Herstellung eines 25%igen Emulsionskonzentrates werden
25 Teile l-Phenyl--4- (tris-methoxy-phosphoranylidenamino)
"5-brom-6 (IH)-pyridazoiij
5 Teile Mischung von Nonylphenolpolyoxyäthylen
\md Calcium-dodecylbenzol-sulfonat,
35 Teile 3,5,5-Trin!et:hyl-2-cyclohexen-l-on,

miteinander vermischt. Dieses Konzentrat kann mit Wasser
zu Emulsionen- auf geeignete Konzenti-ationen verdünnt
werden. Solche Emulsionen eignen sich zur Bekämpfung von Unkräutern in Kulturpflanzungen, wie z.B. Baumwolle,
Mais, etc..
