Da das Verschlußelement vom Bolzen 10 bereits durch eine Vierteldrehung (d.h. um 90 ) wieder gelöst werden kann, tritt beim Abnehmen des Ventildeckels vom Motorblock eine erhebliche Zeitersparnis ein. Der Bolzen 10 ragt vom Motorblock 51 nach oben und hilft, die (nicht gezeigte) Dichtung in die richtige Lage zu bringen, da er durch die Öffnungen der Dichtung hindurchgreift.
