Claims (7)

1. Schutzvorrichtung für Transport und Montage von Lippendich­ tungen, insbesondere von Radialwellendichtringen (RWDR) mit Dichtlippen aus einem temperatur- und ölbeständigen Kunststoff - beispielsweise Polytetrafluorethylen-Compound, wobei die Dichtlippe oder der RWDR in einen Versteifungsring, ein Lager­ schild oder anderen Einbaukomponenten integriert als kompaktes Bauteil gehandhabt, transportiert und montiert wird, gekenn­ zeichnet durch einen an den Körper (11) der Schutzvorrichtung (10) angeformten, überstehenden Lippenschutzring (15), der lippen­ seitig etwa zum Durchmesser der Montageseite aufgeweitet ist.1.Protection device for transport and assembly of lip seals, especially radial shaft seals (RWDR) with sealing lips made of a temperature and oil-resistant plastic - e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene compound, whereby the sealing lip or the RWDR is integrated into a stiffening ring, a bearing plate or other installation components as compact component is handled, transported and assembled, characterized by a protruding lip protection ring ( 15 ) molded onto the body ( 11 ) of the protective device ( 10 ), the lip side being widened approximately to the diameter of the mounting side. 2.
