Die Verbundplatte genügt den Anforderungen allerdings im Allgemeinen nur, wenn die Klebverbindung zwischen dem Schaumstoffkern und den Deckschichten auch bei extremer Beanspruchung, Überbelastung oder Schlageinwirkung nicht versagt. Eine durch beispielsweise lokales Knittern entstandene Ablösung der Deckschicht führt zu hohem Verlust an Steifigkeit und Festigkeit und schließlich zum Versagen des gesamten Bauteils. Eine korrekte Verbindung des Schaumstoffkerns mit den Deckschichten ist deshalb von größter Wichtigkeit und ein kritischer Teil im Herstellungsprozess des Sandwichverbundbauteils. Anwendung des Harzinfusionsverfahrens, Harzinjektionsverfahrens oder Handlaminierverfahrens beeinflussenden Verbindungsanordnung an ihren anstoßenden Seitenflächen miteinander verbunden sind, wobei die Verbindungsanordnung ein längliches Verbindungselement, welches jeweils im Bereich seiner Stirnseiten schwalbenschwanzförmige Auskragungen aufweist, und eine erste und eine zweite entsprechend an dem wenigstens einen ersten und an dem wenigstens einen zweiten flächenförmigen Strukturelement vorgesehene schwalbenschwanzförmige Verbindungsaussparung aufweist, welche jeweils zur Aufnahme einer der schwalbenschwanzförmigen Auskragungen des Verbindungselements ausgebildet ist. Durch die erfindungsgemäßen Maßnahmen werden die die Kernschicht des Sandwichverbundbauteils bildenden flächenförmigen Strukturelemente zumindest teilweise mit einer einfachen und effektiven Verbindungsanordnung verbunden, welche dazu in der Lage ist, den Harzfluss während des Harzinfusionsverfahrens, Harzinjektionsverfahrens oder Handlaminierverfahrens wirksam zum Beispiel als Harzbremse oder Harzstopper zu beeinflussen. Dadurch kann vermieden werden, dass ungewollte Harzflüsse zu lokalen Anreicherungen oder Fehlmengen führen. Durch die schwalbenschwanzförmige Verbindungsanordnung wird der Harzfluss zwischen Strukturelementen gebremst oder umgeleitet. Durch die schwalbenschwanzförmige Ausbildung der Verbindungsanordnung wird eine einfache Verbindungsmöglichkeit geschaffen.
