Claims (3)

1. Vorrichtung zum Längsumreifen eines Gegenstandes (12), mit einem eine Auflagefläche (16) für den längs zu umreifenden Gegenstand (12) aufweisenden Tisch (18) und mit einem Längsumreifungsrahmen (26) für ein Umreifungsband (24), der im Tisch (18) einen unbeweglichen ersten Rahmenabschnitt (28) und der einen daran anschließenden und durch zwei Trennstellen (30) vom ersten Rahmenabschnitt (28) getrennten zweiten Rahmenabschnitt (32) aufweist, der um eine längsorientierte horizontale Schwenkachse (38) zwischen einer eine Umreifungsebene (40) aufspannenden Längsumreifungsstellung und einer Zugangsstellung für den zu umreifenden Gegenstand (12) hin und her verschwenkbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schwenkachse (38) seitlich außerhalb der Umreifungsebene (40) unter oder über der Tischauflagefläche (16) oder in der Umreifungsebene (44) über der Tischauflagefläche (16) und über dem Längsumreifungsrahmen (26) vorgesehen ist. 1.
