Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a winding body for the Mass and heat exchange based on the principle of adsorption on micro porous solids or for heat storage using vaporous work equipment and a process for its manufacture lung. Areas of application are above all the technology for fabric doors tion and the technical reaction, also using Catalysts to react chemically acting gases selectively remove from mixtures of their accompanying components or temporarily reversible storage. Other areas of application are adsorptive and reversible heat storage, for example on the Field of heating, cooling and air conditioning technology, especially for Utilization of natural heat, such as geothermal or solar heat. Close other lying areas relate to drying technology for various products and goods, for example for withdrawal the moisture and air technology contained in them for the removal of harmful additives or for deodorization. Preferred applications are generally possible wherever thermal energy be available for temporary periods of use must not with periods of heat generation or their readiness position match. Goals of using microporous adsorbents tien consist in achieving high space-time yields with them operated material and energy conversion.
Processes in which natural or syn theoretical zeolites are used as sorbents and plants be set in which the sorbent in both adsorption and also desorption cycles in a spatial preferred direction from Be flowed through sorptively. It is the production of itself application and design-friendly monolithic moldings difficult and requires special knowledge. More advantageous and The development of composite materials is easier the adsorbents that are used with the aid of others Combine fabrics with each other.
There are known winding bodies in which a flat material is used Carrier of zeolitic sorbents is used. These carriers exist preferably made of easily deformable knitted fabrics or films Metal, plastic, ceramic or paper can be produced and the respective process requirements with regard to their parameters mechanical, chemical and thermal stability are enough. The is between individual layers of the carrier Zeolite through which the working fluid flows in a preferred direction becomes.
In mehren Schriften (vgl. In several publications (cf. DE-OS 38 19 727, DE-OS 39 37 863, DE-OS 43 13 976) such elements are described in which the finely crystalline zeolite on film support in the form of a matrix is applied with the help of binders so that after drying a honeycomb-shaped winding body of the composite can. Fine crystals are therefore used to make one as possible to generate a large flowable and active area of the sorbent and make good use of the active pore system. The high one to strive for Area density is limited, because on the one hand the zeolite only poorly conducts heat and, on the other hand, adequate Heat conduction from and to the carrier must be ensured. Farther is disadvantageous that the fine crystals about half in the out hardened binders are fixed, which is far for exchange processes is inactive and therefore sorption-active crystal surfaces shields from the material and heat flows. The binder that here consists of a silica gel or metal silicate gel referred to as a different type of adsorbent that also is sorptive. However, the disadvantage remains that otherwise advantageous sorption capacity of the zeolite for heat storage pro due to inhibition of diffusion in part of the surface remains limited.
Prefabricated and commercially available adsorbents in Form of granules already have the advantage that the bandage medium for the zeolite crystals in an integrated form lies. As a rule, different clays are used as binders up to about 20% added to the zeolite. This too Aids have adsorbing properties, but they are low longer than that of the zeolite crystals enclosed in the granules stall. It remains the disadvantage that in the production of Bodies of granules also contain portions of binders need to be the good adsorption capacity of the zeolite crystal reduce le additionally.
The object of the present invention is to provide a winding body with the associated manufacturing process, the improvement of the material and especially the heat exchange in bodies containing zeolite with simultaneous simple expansion Design and manufacturing possibility allowed, without restriction the entire surface of the granules as the contact surface and the bound zeolite crystals in them are used.
This object is achieved by the in the claims and the associated drawings solved winding body. The Improvement of the mass and heat exchange is inventively achieved in that the binder is only a temporary Function. It only serves as a temporary fixie aid tion of the zeolite in the process of its application to the support and will be easy again later in the manufacture of the bobbin away. The carrier made of flat material is unilaterally in relation to a starting surface of the flat material directed and shaped so shaped to create cross ribs that are the height of the to be applied Layer of granules in a slight and through a fill of the granules exceed the height of the layer. At the same time, the binder has the lowest possible consistency and more volatile, preferably applied by dipping, spraying or spreading. The individual grana lien are in the tub-like spaces between the ribs introduced or shaken so that a tight packing is created, that of a densest packing of balls taking into account the equi valent diameter of the granules (volume to surface diameter) corresponds. The zeolite granules in the bulk layer that exceed the height of the ribs are streaked fen entered in the adjacent space that the Bewe direction of the carrier is opposite. Almost the same The binder is dried to the extent that it is viscous and slightly sticky and the granules only roll up in the process lumbar or unfolding deformation of the carrier securely fixed. The Formation of the layer of granules on the carrier in approximate same height can be added by lightly pressing or rolling be supported. If necessary, there is a further drying of the temporarily bound layer of zeolite halide granules. The best made mainly from portraits and granules existing composite is rolled up to form the winding former. The transverse dimension of the winding body, apart from the smaller thickness of the Girder, determined by the sum of the heights of the ribs. Doing about the transverse dimension of the winding body increases the dimension by the total layer thickness of the zeolite and summed up over the individual winding layers is specified.
The final processing of the winding body takes place after Disconnect the composite in a transverse direction or on the pre measure seen in the direction of movement of the carrier in the formation of the Winding body. It is pressed to the size of the final one Cross dimension ent in a cylindrical apparatus geometry here speaks. The granules remain in their original size and shape without significant damage to their structure. It the winding body presents itself with an actively sorbing zeolite layer high specific space filling, which in geometric much smaller extent of a geometric support structure tur, but is interspersed with a good heat-conducting carrier. The transverse ribs producing heat compensation in the transverse direction reduced to the size of the entire zeolite layer. By the pressing of slightly deformed transverse ribs is narrow Contact form-fitting to the individual layers of the wearer without that it needs their additional attachment, such as by soldering. Only in a connecting line that a longitudinal line on the outside Ren sheath of the winding body corresponds to a fastening recommend. When pressing the at least slightly elastic Composite it becomes possible to roll the bobbins into cylindrical shapes fit, for example with good thermal contact in the jacket surfaces of heat exchanger tubes.
The binder can function temporarily appropriate measures, such as by displacing them with a lighter one Solvent, by volatilizing the solvent residues or can be easily removed from the winding body by heating. According to the invention, the binder affects as a result disabled surface or grain diffusion does not function Zeolites as sorbents. The heat conduction takes place in the direction of Winding layers and in the transverse directions.
It is advisable in the transverse directions on the edge zones To provide support material that is not covered with granules. This makes it possible to have smaller diameters than the outer one Adjust the diameter of the outer surface of the active winding body len. It is achieved that in the peripheral zones over shorter off strains, compared to the preferred direction, smaller gaps than arise in the active body between the layers. The columns in the marginal zones should preferably be smaller or at least the same Have dimensions as being the smallest dimensions of the grana lien correspond. This allows additional, the winding body delimiting front or top surfaces are eliminated, even if these are for a current is permeable.
One reduced in diameter on one side of the carrier material Edge zone can simultaneously form a connector that in an adjacent winding body to enlarge the scale of the device in the longitudinal direction and to achieve like driving styles is used. The carrier can be used without restriction the invention is also covered with granules or similar bodies that are different from zeolites and others too have as adsorbing properties.
Inside the winding body there can be heat transfer tubes located periodically below the carrier in the process of its manufacture. It lends itself to Inside the winding body at least one axially introduced heat to provide support tube that is form-fitting with the support material is thermally connected.
The invention is also not limited to cylindrical ones Bobbin. Corresponding variants are with regard to one Cross-sectional area also square, rectangular or polygonal Winding body producible. The individual layers of the Winding body with the zeolite on it in the process pre-folded according to the production. The final form of the Body is then by the design of the pressing device certainly. The process engineering dimensioning and design of the winding body takes place according to the regularities of the isotropic Heat conduction in the granular layer to heat conductive carrier material. Both the individual elements as well the positions of the winding body are calculated so that starting from a center in the individual cross-sections of the granite layer always approximately the same and optimally small distances from the neighboring support surfaces are observed. A special The idea is that the winding body in solar collectors is fitted, especially in devices in which as Solar heat absorber to avoid radiation losses Inside of evacuated hollow bodies is used. This creates at the same time a storage collector for solar energy use. To can be used in particular hollow body, according to the State of the art, such as. B. specified in DE-OS 44 07 968, a square, polygonal or other cross-section own space. Another area of application relates to. B. by Sorption dryer supported by solar energy (cf. DE-OS 195 09 013), in which the preheating zone with the device according to the invention is populated.

The winding body 1 ( FIG. 1) consists of a jacket 2 , in which individual winding layers are located, formed from a web-shaped carrier 3 . Ribs 4 are formed from the carrier 3 at a regular distance, between which pockets 5 can be located. The adsorbent 6 is located between the individual ribs 4 , preferably in the pockets 5 . The heat transfer guide 7 is arranged in the longitudinal axis of the winding body 1 . Advantageously, there is a molding zone 8 ( FIG. 2) on one or on the two edge regions in the transverse direction of the carrier 3 , which does not contain any adsorbent 6 ( FIG. 3) or at least a reduced amount thereof.
According to Fig. 4 of the ribs 4 forming the carrier 3 may consist of a flat material which is roof-like, wave-like shaped or meander-like. Grooves 9 can be located within the ribs 4 . The shaping zone 8 of the carrier 3 forms the connector 10 of the winding body 1 .
The granules of the adsorbent 6 are introduced into the pockets 5 statistically by pouring or shaking. When using fine granules, the arrangement of pockets 5 between the ribs 4 can be omitted. Both the jacket 2 and the carrier 3 are made of a highly thermally conductive material. Metallic flat materials ( FIG. 6) are preferably used, for example perforated metal sheets, foils and lattice-like structures, but also knitted fabrics, nonwovens and felts made from fibrous materials. The material should be easily deformable and have good stability with simultaneous elasticity. Within the lateral surface 2 , for the purpose of improved heat transfer, a plurality of heat transfer guides 7 can also be arranged, through which a common heat transfer medium flows.
The shaped grooves 9 ( Fig. 6) promote further processing to the finished winding body and are preferred locations of a deformation in the Ver winding process. The shaping zone 8 serves to improve the mounting of the adsorbent 5 and permits coupling of adjacent winding bodies 1 ; 1 'via the connector 10 ; 10 'for the purpose of enlarging the scale of the device in the longitudinal direction. For the formation of the molding zone 8 , it is sufficient to set up two to three times the equivalent diameter (the volume / surface diameter) of the granules of the adsorbent 5 .
The gaseous medium flows axially through the winding body according to the invention. An intensive material and heat exchange is realized between the granules and the gaseous medium. The jacket 2 , which is also perforated, permits an intensive material and heat exchange in a transverse direction, the molding zone 8 and the connector 10 these exchange processes in the longitudinal direction, the axial preferred direction. The transfer of heat supplied from the outside, for example process heat, takes place with the aid of one or more heat carrier guides 7 to and from the carrier 3 .
Entsprechend Fig. 6 erfolgt die Dimensionierung und technische
Auslegung des Wickelkörpers
According to Fig. 6, the dimensioning and technical design of the winding body takes place
- - durch ein Abstandsmaß a, das die Länge einer Periode der Rippen 4 mit den Taschen 5 bestimmt,by a distance dimension a, which determines the length of a period of the ribs 4 with the pockets 5 ,
- - durch ein Basismaß b zur Bestimmung der Länge der Taschen 5,by a basic dimension b for determining the length of the pockets 5 ,
- - durch ein Höhenmaß h der Rippen 4 und- by a height h of the ribs 4 and
- - durch einen Neigungswinkel w der Rippen 4 bezüglich einer gemeinsamen Querrichtung des Trägers 3.by an angle of inclination w of the ribs 4 with respect to a common transverse direction of the carrier 3 .
The height h exceeds the equivalent diameter of a bed of adsorbent 6 in each pocket 5 by preferably 5 to 15% and at most 20%. The basic dimension b is in the range 0 ≦ b <a, the dimension a being greater than the height h. With neighboring ribs 4 , dimension b exceeds dimension h by 1.2 to 2 times.
At least two ribs 4 ; 4 'in the same transverse direction of the carrier 3 are inclined at an alternating same angle w or run at different angles w; w ', where the angles w; w 'are preferably between 15 ° and 45 ° and a maximum of 60 °. Also at least two ribs 4 ; 4 'in a same transverse direction of two carriers 3 adjacent in a winding layer; 3 'are inclined at an angle w directed differently in the same transverse direction or extend at different angles w; w ', the angles w; w 'of both the carrier 3 and the carrier 3 ' are directed differently from one another.
The associated method for producing the winding body comprises the working steps according to claim 10. An exemplary device for this is shown in FIG. 7.
The web-shaped carrier 3 is guided from a roller carrier 20 through a profile roller 21 and a shaping roller 22 , which are located in a binder bath 23 . Additional pasty binder is fed from a binder container 24 via a circuit which is connected to the binder bath 23 . About the coater 25 , the adsorbent 6 is brought up to the carrier 3 . The nip rollers 26 ; 26 'together with the application device 27 ensure a uniform configuration of the layer with the adsorbent 6 fixed by the binder. The wipers 28 remove excess binder from the profiled carrier 3 . The dryer 29 at least dries the binder, so that in the process of shaping the winding body 1 the adsorbent 6 remains securely fixed in the pockets 5 . The winding reel 31 enables the winding of the winding body 1 even with large diameters, which is brought to the finished size with the cutting bar 30 . At this stage of manufacture, the carrier 3 is also encased with the jacket 2 , separated with the cutting bar 30 'and then positively connected on a jacket cutting edge.
Fig. 8 shows two ways of further processing of the winding body 1 , which can be done by shaping and / or isostatic pressing under isotropic peripheral force. In both cases, the increase in height h ( Fig. 6) by deformation of the ribs 4 ; 4 'degraded so that there is intimate contact of the adsorbent 6 with adjacent carriers 3 ; 3 'sets. The ribs 4 ; in particular in the shape of the grooves 9 ; 4 'lie in surface contact on the carrier 3 ; 3 'on. Experience has shown that the original increase in height h is a maximum of 20%; however, 5 to 15% is usually sufficient for this purpose. The deformation mentioned here causes the original dimension h to be approximately restored. The pressure p should be at least a factor of 2 below half the pressure, which corresponds to a maximum compressive strength of the granules of the adsorbent 6 .
The winding body 1 is completed by removing the binder which temporarily fixes the granules, for example by leaching or extraction of the reusable binder, if appropriate with moderate heating. The binding agent is water-soluble and preferably consists of pasty poly saccharides or silica gels, but is not limited to these. According to the invention there is no need to fix the granules by means of a permanent binder which hinders the mass transfer over the surface of the granules.
A special thought is that according to FIG. 9 two carriers 3 ; 3 'with ribs 4 in different orientations; 4 'and are profiled at different angles directed in opposite directions, two profile rollers 21 ; 21 ', form rolls 22 ; 22 ', binder baths 23 ; 23 'and coater 25 ; 25 'are required. The winding body 1 thus produced advantageously has the angles w; w 'crossed and overlapping channels which are half open on both sides and which are particularly favorable in terms of material and heat exchange. The fluid penetrates the winding body 1 alternately in oblique directions with respect to the longitudinal axis of the body and also in the transverse directions.
According to the ribs 4 ; 4 'also not additionally on the carrier 3 ; 3 'are attached, such as by soldering as provided in the prior art. All that is required is a jacket seam on the jacket 2 , which in the case of a thicker material of the carrier 4 ; 4 'and clamping peripheral mounting of the winding body in one device can also be omitted.
A carrier web made of a 2 mm thick copper foil is folded roof-shaped so that a spacing a = 50 mm and a base dimension b = 30 mm of the ribs. The width of the band-shaped carrier web and thus the height of the winding body is 600 mm, including that of an edge zone 30 mm. Ribs are uniformly arranged at an angle of inclination w = 60 °. The adsorbent consists of granules of approximately 1 mm in diameter and 3 mm in length with an equivalent diameter of 0.6 mm and with a specific bulk volume of 0.62 m 3 / kg. The mass of the granules to be placed in a pocket with an adjacent rib is 0.11 kg. The height of the rib h is thus 12 mm, taking into account 20% cant. Under a pressure of 1.4 MPa, the winding body is pressed so that a height h = 10.1 mm is set. This creates deformation surfaces on the ribs of approximately 2 mm in width, which lie closely against the adjacent carrier web. Since the entire winding body is pressed to a diameter (a nominal width) of 300 mm, 14 winding layers are created.
The winding body has an excellent heat transfer in a transverse direction. With a volume-related porosity of 0.37 can with a flow in the axial preferred direction of 0.8 m / s a sufficiently good mass transfer for water from with what steam saturated air can be achieved.
