A known pin mill of the type described above consists of two oppositely arranged, parallel to each other Discs studded with concentric rows of millsticks that are alternating and on different diameters are arranged and each extend in the axial direction, thus lie axially parallel to the rotor axis. The one to be shredded Grist becomes the Roto through a central opening in a disc ren fed and in its radial path through the opposite revolving rows of grinding pins on impact with the grinding pins crushed. The shredded regrind occurs at the outermost meal pin ring, is collected on the circumference and together with the air transported through the grinding chamber through a circumference let it be carried out. With a previously known modified Embodiment rotates only one of the two disks, weh rend the second disc is stationary.
The invention is based, described above bene pin mill constructively redesign so that with produce your regrind with much smaller fineness to let.
Starting from the pin mill described at the beginning, this becomes Task solved according to the invention in that the first pin group pe on the outer surface of an at least approximately zy Lindrisch trained rotor is arranged that the grinding chamber is designed as a narrow radial gap, the radial width ≦ 1/10 of the rotor diameter and its axial length approximately that of the rotar correspond to that the free length of the radially to Rotor axes extending grinding pins approximately the radial width of the Radial gap corresponds, and that to achieve final fineness ten ≦ 20 µm for feed particle sizes <5 mm the rotor initial speed 100-250 m / s and the diameter of the meal pins ≦ 4 mm.
While in the known pin mills, the rotor circumference speed due to the high bending stress that the axially aligned grinding pins are exposed to maximum 150 m / s are limited, can be ge with the invention designed pin mill because of the radial he inventively stretching mill pins even when using only one rotor Um achieve catch speeds of up to 250 m / s. On the con structurally complex use of two opposing rotors can thus be dispensed with. While with the conventional pencil mill len the diameter of the grinding pins due to their high bending stress must be at least 5 mm, the invention appropriate pin mill to smaller grinding pin diameters, which invent According to the invention, it is preferably only 1-2 mm. Only here is the aim of the very fine comminution according to the invention enables.
To support the transport of the regrind through the the radial gap formed grinding zone, it is advantageous if on an air suction is attached to the grist outlet of the radial gap is closed. The air sucked in through the radial gap serves but at the same time also for cooling the ground material, which in particular advantageous for regrinds sensitive to heating is.
The air flowing through the grinding zone forms in front of each grinding pin a stagnation point flow, the curved streamlines of the meal flow around the pen profile. The path curves of the regrind particles white Chen due to the inertial forces from the stagnation point flow from, so that there is an impact of the regrind on the front comes on the side of the grinding pins. This through the inertial forces conditional impact is on the size of the particles, the mean Speed of the air in front of the grinder, the size of the pointer depend on the material data of the particles and the air gig. Particles evenly distributed in the stagnation point flow of a certain size but only hit the front the grinding pens on if their diameter is a certain size does not exceed. The invention is based on this finding, so that according to the invention for the desired fine grinding only very small grinding pin diameters are used.
To keep the radial flight paths of the regrind particles small, According to the invention, the grinding gap receives only a small radial Width that should not exceed 10 mm. However, in order to le width of the radial gap as the impact surface of the grinding pins To be able to use it is useful if the free ends of the rotating grinding pins of the first pin group in ring grooves in immerse the outer wall delimiting the radial gap.
Analog training could also be used for the second group of founders be provided, preferably in a stationary, the Rotor is arranged concentrically encompassing stator.
The rotor, the axis of which is preferably arranged perpendicularly, can best consist of a cylindrical or slightly conical tube hen, the wall thickness is small compared to the rotor diameter. So that the grinding pins do not appear due to the rotation the centrifugal forces can be torn out of the rotor wall, the grinding pins can thicken at the rear end, have a bend or the like. The through the pipe Wall of the rotor inserted grinding pins can also at least in this passage area towards their free ends slightly tapered. Another alternative solution is there characterized in that two each in grinding pin circumference hen axially superimposed grinding pins through the U-legs a U-shaped pin part are formed.
As the axial length of the grinding zone progresses, the fine increases unit of the regrind produced continuously, the axial Length of the grinding zone or the rotor the final fineness of the generated Product determined. To meet the above requirement an adjustment of the diameter of the grinding pins to the size of the to comply with impacting particles, it is useful if the Grinding pins of the first circumferential rows seen in the direction of flow the largest and that of the last circumferential series the smallest Have diameter. This decrease in the mill pin diameter can be continuous or in over the axial length of the grinding zone Levels.
In order to keep the wear of the grinding pins within limits, it is advantageous if the grinding pins made of low-wear or ver wear-resistant material, preferably made of high-strength steels, Ceramics or the like exist.
The grinding zone designed according to the invention can also be a first Shredding stage upstream, which are characterized is that the regrind is curved radially or flat running acceleration channels are subordinate to those lower right to the direction of flight from these acceleration channels escaping particles downstream of stationary impact surfaces are. It is useful if the regrind with the The rotor axis is aligned and the downstream acceleration channels lie in a common radial plane.

The operation of the pin mill can be described as follows ben:
The disperse feed material is in the direction indicated by arrow 13 in the stationary tubular Mahlgutaufgabe 1 optionally and enters in the direction of the broken-line arrows in the high speed rotating with the rotor 3 Accelerati supply channels 9 a, on its at least radially ver current Kanalseitenwandungen approximated the in Accelerated feed material is also accelerated in the radial direction by centrifugal forces. The feed material then leaves the acceleration channels 9 on the outer circumference of the rotor 3 with the vec torial sum of the speeds resulting from the two accelerations mentioned and impacts the impact surfaces 10 perpendicular to the direction of flight of the profiled inside of the stator 4 . The fragments generated in this first crushing stage are sucked in the axial direction through the radial gap 5 with the support of the air sucked in by a downstream fan. The particles meet the radially through the radial gap 5 extending rotating and stationary grinding pins 6 , 8 and are thereby further crushed. The grinding zone formed by this radial gap 5 in connection with the grinding pins 6 , 8 represents the second comminution stage, which the material to be ground exits via the lower grinding well. The regrind / air mixture emerging at 11 is fed to a downstream filter, not shown in the drawing, in which the regrind is separated from the air.
