Nach Optimierung der Signale gehen diese an die Verstärker (2, 5), die dann in einer ersten Ausführungsform die flächenhaft ausgeführten kapazitiven Schallgeber (7, 17) leistungsmäßig mit einem frequenzkompensierendem Signal ansteuern, so daß eine Verminderung des Geräuschpegels erreicht wird. Der Schallgeber (7, 17) kann auch gleichzeitig Sender und Empfänger sein und aus wasser- und schmutzabweisendem Material bestehen oder auch damit beschichtet werden.
