Abstract
Description
Permeable protective suits against chemical poisons have an adsorption layer that practically always contains activated carbon. A known adsorption layer consists of a air-permeable, textile carrier, on which heap of a highly viscous masked Isocyanates are printed on which granular adsorbents are adhered. It is important to have a high initial adhesion so that the scattered adsorbents stick stay where they hit. As a result, cheaper and easier to process Dispersion adhesives could not previously be used.
The aim of the present invention was to find new usable adhesive systems.
The object was achieved according to the features of claim 1. It was found that a Mixture of a dispersion of a sticky plastic, for example based on Butyl acrylate, and finely ground hotmelt both have the required initial tack also allows a very good final liability. The high solids content - it should at least 40%, preferably 40-60%, make it possible with a rotary printing stencil to print hemispherical piles of glue so that the granular, preferably spherical adsorbents is possible. The latter is important to the Cover gaps between the heaps of glue. In the solid state part that should Ratio of sticky plastic / hot melt adhesive at least 1: 1, but preferably 1: 2 and itself 1: 3. So that the hot melt adhesive really comes into play, depends on Hot melt adhesive, a temperature of 150-200 ° C required. It is beneficial to look for one first drying at approx. 160 ° C over a web loaded with adsorbents Thermal calender or a hot laminating machine to drive at 160 ° C because of the same time applied pressure ensures optimal anchoring of the particles.
For an adsorption layer intended for protective suits, it is advisable to print the textile backing with 50-100 piles of adhesive per cm 2 , the dry layer usually being 20-50 g / m 2 . The granular or spherical adsorbents can have particle sizes of 0.2-1.0 mm, preferably 0.3-0.8 mm and in particular 0.4-0.7 mm, with a focus around 0.5 mm. In principle, up to 300 g adsorbents per m 2 can be applied (spherical carbon). It is advantageous to cover the adsorbents with a light textile fabric (fleece) which is punctiformly applied with a little hot melt adhesive. The cover is preferably applied in the same operation as the pressing of the adsorbents onto the hot-melt adhesive piles. Due to the very high solids content of the mixture of dispersion and hot-melt adhesive powder, the adhesive point "stands" very well and has the shape of a hemisphere or a cone with a rounded tip. This is very important because this is the only way that the adsorbents can accumulate around the side of the adhesive piles and the gaps between the adhesive piles are covered. If you print adhesive piles with a diameter of 0.3-0.6 mm and a height of 0.2-0.4 mm at a density of 100 piles / cm 2 and sprinkle with activated carbon pellets with an average diameter of 0.5 mm, the average fixed about 4 beads per heap of glue, which leads to full coverage with 400 beads / cm 2 .

A BW fabric weighing approximately 100 g / m 2 was selected as the carrier and was printed with the above adhesive mixture using a 25 mesh stencil (dry pad 41 g / m 2 ). A spherical carbon (manufacturer Kureha, Japan) with a diameter of 0.56-0.63 mm was then sprinkled on and the material was dried at 160.degree. Coal overlay 280 g / m 2 , very good regular occupancy without missing parts. Finally, the carbon layer was covered with a light PA / PES fleece (30 g / m 2 ), which was printed with hot-melt adhesive (13 g / m 2 ) and came from PERMESS (NL), by a hot lamination process.
