Abstract

The electromagnetic drive has two electromagnets (3,4) whose pole surfaces at least partly face each other. A spring biased armature (2) is provided to move to and fro between the pole surfaces.When the magnets (3,4) are switched off, the armature (2) is brought by spring force into an intermediate position and is held there. When one of the magnets (3,4) is switched on, the armature (2) is brought into one of the two end positions near the pole surface of the corresponding electromagnet.The armature (2) is connected to the part (7) to be driven. The connection of the part (7) to be driven to the armature (2) engages between the axis of the spring bearing (1) and the centre of the armature (2)
