Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a lightweight concrete, in particular one Construction lightweight concrete.
Concrete is a building material made from cement, Concrete aggregate and water is produced and used for Influencing certain concrete properties can be added. Concrete is commonly used as a two-substance system because the mixture of cement and water Fresh concrete's workability and cohesiveness and in the case of hardened concrete, the chaining and bonding of the Additional grains and thus the establishment of strength and the tightness of the concrete. Has normal concrete usually a very high dead weight and a low one Thermal insulation, which is disadvantageous for certain applications. This fact has to do with the development of lightweight concrete led, which is defined in that its dry bulk density is less than 2000 kg / m³. There is also lightweight concrete however two directions by applying this Building material can be determined. So is between thermal insulation A distinction is made between lightweight concrete and lightweight construction concrete. As heat-insulating lightweight concrete for load-bearing components with al However, low strength requirements take place in the first Line of lightweight concrete with a high degree of porosity and porous lightness surcharge use. As light supplements, for example Diatomaceous earth, expanded perlite, expanded mica, foam sand and foam gravel as well as organic light supplements on wood or plastic basis, such as B. wood wool, wood shavings, wood flour or foamed polystyrene used. These surcharges are lower However, density has a low dimensional stability, so that the preserved lightweight concrete only for extremely low loads are designed. So far, when using organic Light aggregates, especially foamed plastic aggregates only concrete strength classes with structure-sealed light concrete from LB5 and, in the case of lightweight, lightweight concrete, from LB2 reached. This corresponds to a nominal strength (minimum value for the compressive strength of tested according to DIN 4232 Test cubes) of 5.0 or 2.0 N / mm² (see concrete calendar 1990, Ernst und Sohn publishing house for architecture and technical knowledge Berlin, Section 1A 5.3, Tables 32 and 33). Under construction lightweight concrete on the other hand Lightweight concrete with a closed structure understood the higher Strength requirements than on the heat-insulating lightweight concrete be put. It is used as unreinforced concrete Lightweight steel concrete and as prestressed lightweight concrete. Such directly statically usable lightweight concrete usually have one relatively high dry bulk density and have a poor one Thermal conductivity. With the mere use of light Strikes such as expanded clay or expanded slate can generally only that concrete strength can be achieved that Has light aggregate as grain pressure resistance. Therefore according to the prior art lightweight concrete to increase the Compressive strength with heavy aggregates, the one had higher grain pressure resistance, for example quartz sand. This naturally leads to the loss of low weight and at the same time increases the thermal conductivity.
From DE-C 37 31 993 is a structure density Construction lightweight concrete known on a purely mineral basis, for which Reach a dry bulk density of at most 850 kg / m³ improved untreated the used untreated and pretreated low density aggregates before use in Concrete or mortar mixes with a surface treatment Silicic acid-forming compounds have been subjected. By this surface treatment is supposed to give the grain pressure resistance increases and the water absorption capacity of the supplements with low density can be reduced. With such a Lightweight concrete was able to achieve excellent dry bulk density values from about 700 to 840 kg / m³ can be obtained, however, the Compressive strength well below 10 N / mm², so that the statically stressed usability of such concretes is restricted.
The object of the invention is therefore to a lightweight concrete create that with good thermal insulation properties an increased Has strength and therefore higher static loads can be exposed.
This object is essentially achieved by the invention a lightweight concrete with a dry bulk density of less than 1500 kg / m³ and a nominal strength of more than 20 N / mm² dissolved, the cement, plasticizer, water and polystyrene as Light supplement contains. By using styrofoam as Light aggregate can make the concrete considerably lighter . Surprisingly, it was found that nevertheless a very high nominal strength can be achieved. By the addition of liquefier (BV) can reduce the water content reduced and thereby the strength can be further increased. At the same time, the lightweight concrete reaches a relatively low level Dry bulk density and thus thermal conductivity, so that its Thermal insulation properties can be improved.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention provided that the styrofoam has a fine-grained consistency, preferably with a grain diameter of less than 1 mm. It has been found that through such. finely ground polystyrene with low density improved strength is achievable.
To reduce the manufacturing costs of lightweight concrete provided according to the invention, the styrofoam portions of the light concretes from waste products of packaging material, such as Poresta, or building waste. The waste polystyrene can be finely ground without re-foaming and then incorporated in the desired amount in the lightweight concrete will.
According to the invention, the proportion of the liquefier is 0.1 to 0.5 weight percent, preferably about 0.2 to 0.3 weight percent. When adding approx. 2 kg of condenser to 1 m³ of dry volume, the amount of water required per m³ Reduce lightweight concrete by approx. 120 liters while reducing the Increase strength by approx. 2 N / mm². The higher the water addition is, the lower the achievable strength.
In addition, binders such as building lime, For example, with a weight fraction of 2-10%, and fillers, such as Coal fly ash or the like, for example with a weight fraction of about 5 to 15% are added. The fillers are needed to close fine dreams and thereby a higher one To achieve firmness.
Finally, the lightweight concrete in one configuration Invention air entraining agent added, their weight fractions are within the range of that of the condenser. By the Air-entraining agents are created or preserved, to reduce the weight.
Experiments have shown that satisfactory Properties can be achieved with a lightweight concrete that has the following components: 0.5 to 2 percent by weight Styrofoam, 40 to 70 weight percent cement, 2 to 6 weight percent construction lime, 5 to 15 weight percent filler, 0.1 to 0.3 Weight percent liquefier and 20 to 40 weight percent Water.
The following compositions have been found to be particularly advantageous highlighted: 0.8 to 1.4% polystyrene, 50 to 60% Cement, 3 to 4% building lime, 10 to 12 percent filler, approx. 0.2 % Liquefier and 25 to 35% water.
A particularly satisfactory lightweight concrete showed the following Composition on: approx. 1% polystyrene, approx. 55% cement, approx. 4% construction lime, approx. 11% filler, approx. 0.2% liquefier, approx. 0.2 % Air entraining agent and approx. 28% water. A lightweight concrete with Such a composition has a bulk density of less than 1400 kg / m³ after 28 days a strength of more than 30 N / mm², so that it is in strength class LB25 is to be classified, the unreinforced lightweight concrete, lightweight steel concrete and prestressed lightweight concrete, which is also predominantly not resting loads can be used. Due to the low drying tube density will at the same time be excellent thermal insulation ensured.
Further training, advantages and possible applications of Invention also result from the following description of an embodiment. Thereby form all described Features the subject of the invention, regardless of its Summary in the claims or their relationship.
A lightweight concrete according to the invention contains about 1 m³ Dry volume about 580 kg cement, (here Portland cement the Strength class PZ 45), approx. 40 kg construction lime, as it is under the Name "Ilsefit", for example, from the Anneliese cement works in Enningerloh and Paderborn is distributed, approx. 120 kg Charcoal fly ash as a filler, approx. 12 kg of fine styrofoam as well approx. 2 kg each of BV condenser and air entraining agent. In addition, about 296 liters of water are added. At a Total weight of approx. 1052 kg results in a weight proportion of styrofoam of approx. 1.1%, of cement of approx. 55%, the lime of approx. 4%, the filler of approx. 11%, the Condenser and air entraining agent of approx. 0.2% and Water of approx. 28%.
Attempts have been made to test such Light concrete achievable bulk density and strength values check.
When checking 3 standard prisms with a size of 0.04 × 0.04 × 0.16 m from fresh mortar after 36 hours drying time at approx. 110 ° C the following values resulted:
Es ergaben sich folgende Werte:In addition, the compressive strength on cubes of size 0.15 × 0.15 × 0.15 m (volume = 3.38 dm³) checked. For this purpose, in a cubic shape filled with fresh lightweight concrete and without Drying compacted. After 15 or 28 days, the Compressive strength is checked by pressing on a press is determined at which the cube bursts. It turned out following values:
It turns out that on the standard prisms excellent Rohdich values of 1300 to 1400 kg / m³ can be achieved and the same extremely high compressive strength, which after 28 days more than 30 N / mm². The lightweight concrete achieved is now in the strength class LB25, in which it was previously Concrete mixes with such a low dry bulk density did not exist.
With the invention, a lightweight concrete is thus created with excellent thermal insulation properties at the same time very much has high strength values, so that even at higher static requirements can be used.
