Description
The invention relates to a constant velocity joint with an axial Movability of the joint components, with an annular Outer joint part with a number of first ball tracks, and one hub-shaped inner joint part with a number of second ball bah nen, as well as in these guided torque transmitting balls, first and second ball tracks in pairs are assigned radially outside and inside and complement each other that together they take up a torque transmitting ball, and at least a part of the number of first and second ball tracks so opposite at an angle to the longitudinal direction of the respective joint component are employed in pairs Form intersection angles with each other, whose intersection points in the bisecting plane between the two axes of the joint outer part and the inner joint part, and with a ring shaped cage in the space between the outer joint part and Inner joint part, which has circumferentially distributed windows in which each the balls used individually displaceable in be held on a common plane, with the joint inside partly in longitudinal section an outer contour with a largest center diameter and smaller diameters on the end faces points and the center lines B of the ball tracks in longitudinal section in Approach to the outside contour of the inner joint part to the outside run curved.

Sie sind näher in der DE-AS 19 14 275, der DE-AS 12 32 411, der EP 0 463 531 A1, der DE 32 05 532 C2 und der DE 31 02 871 C2 beschrieben.Swivel joints of this type are called VL joints (joints and cardan shafts, Springer Verlag Berlin Heidelberg New York London Paris Tokyo 1988, pages 228, 229). You are closer to that DE-AS 19 14 275, DE-AS 12 32 411, EP 0 463 531 A1, the DE 32 05 532 C2 and DE 31 02 871 C2.
The ball tracks in the outer joint part and in the inner joint part are here as the longitudinal axis of the respective joint component Distance crossing straight lines formed to control the Spheres on the bisecting plane between the axes of the Joint outer part and the joint inner part crossing angle form each other. Such tracks can be easily cleared produce. The ball tracks in the outer joint part and in the joint can also be used as helical lines with the same Distance from the longitudinal axis of the respective joint component Tet, the crossing win due to opposite slope Form each other to form the balls on the bisector Plane between the axes of the outer joint part and the joint partly to control. To make such webs you have to use other methods.
The mentioned mutually assigned intersecting ball tracks in the outer joint part and in the inner joint part, depending on the lige individual joint component related, all par to each other be allelic or alternate opposite angles of attack Form the longitudinal direction of the joint component. It is also possible Lich, each between two at an angle of attack to the longitudinal directional ball tracks in each of the joint components associated ball extending in this longitudinal direction to provide tracks.
The inner joint part is in any case with an outer contour to represent the longitudinal section of a largest center Knives with smaller diameters on both sides on the end faces runs. This form is required to prevent over the inner cylindrical outer joint part with clearance for to enable the cage enclosed in the space. Otherwise the joint flexion angle would be excessively restricted. Out this configuration of the outer contour on the one hand and the course of the path on the other hand, there are trajectories in the inner joint part, at which the effective path cross sections to the axial ends of the Pathways decreases significantly. This reduces the wrap around the Balls in the end areas of the tracks, d. H. with Ge bent steering or when axially displaced from a central position Joint becomes the torque capacity of the joint as a result of this reduced web cross sections reduced.
This is also the case with the generic joint according to US Pat. No. 3,176,477 the case where one in a middle section outside cylindrical inner joint part at both ends with conical overdrive is provided, while the center lines on curved or elliptical orbits. As a limiting size for the flexion angle will only be the geometry between the outer joint part and inner joint part or this driving shaft discussed. The path depths in the inner joint part increase over the Length clearly towards the ends and are on the end faces less than in the middle of the joint. In this way it is reduced the torque capacity with the flexion angle.
Proceeding from this, it is the object of the present invention To create VL joints with the desired axial displacement fen, whose torque capacity improves at the diffraction angle is. The solution to this lies in the characteristics of the independency gene claims. Under the term "curved" are here purely curved in a circular arc or according to other functions to understand curved as well as from a curved section and subsequent straight lines or composite curves curves composed of different straight lines, whereby in in any case a maximum center distance approximately in the middle plane ben should be and the outward curved curves no turn may have points. These conditions apply to both Outer contour of the inner joint part as well as for the center lines the ball tracks.
With the wording of the independent claims is over brought pressure that not only strictly parallel to the outer contour running center lines, but also similar to Outer contour running center lines teach the invention meet by essentially a uniform depth of web is secured.
In the sense of the invention, it is synonymous whether a project tion of the curves on an axial central plane through the longitudinal axis of the joint components or whether a radial section plane through the respective ground, d. H. at an angle to the longitudinal axis the joint components is considered. By the invention The effective depth of the tracks in the inner joint part remains a measure preserved essentially unchanged over their entire length, so that the torque capacity of the inner joint part under flexion is little affected in relation to the extended joint. A decrease in torque capacity at maximum diffraction results only by bringing the balls closer to each other because open web end.
A first solution according to the invention is based on an inner joint part of, whose outer contour is essentially spherical runs in the shape of a slight cylindrical overspeed in Range of the mean diameter should not be excluded. For this purpose, it is proposed in a particularly favorable manner that the Center of curvature of the center lines of the ball tracks and thus in the same way the centers of curvature of the path baselines lie on the longitudinal axis of the inner joint part.
A second solution according to the invention assumes that the Outer contour of the inner joint part in longitudinal section a so-called Roof shape, overall a double cone shape, between the Has end faces, being in the area of the center diameter spherical transition can be provided. Here it is before that the centers of curvature of the center lines of the sphere lane for each lane beyond the center line of the gel chin part, preferably on the opposite outer cone turlinie of the inner joint part. The same applies here both for the railway center lines and for the courses the baseline.
According to a third solution according to the invention, the last mentioned roof shape or double cone shape of the outer contour of the The center lines of the course of the joint are indicated analogously fits, d. H. that they consist of a circular arc section and attached to it Assemble tangential straight lines, whereby the Center of curvature of the circular arc section is preferred again lies on the longitudinal central axis of the joint components. The before drawn angles of the subsequent straight lines in relation to the The longitudinal central axis of the joint components corresponds to the hal ben provided flexion angle of the joint.
In all of the above, it is according to one first variant possible, the center lines of the ball tracks in the Outer joint part and in the inner joint part in longitudinal section to make it run smoothly, d. H. especially the correspond corresponding centers of curvature in the joint median plane to drop.
According to a second variant, it is possible in all versions Lich, the center lines of the ball tracks in the outer joint part and in Longitudinal internal section of the joint symmetrical to the joint center to design levels in relation to each other, d. H. especially the centers of curvature by equal distances in opposite directions to move towards the central plane.
An embodiment of the joints with is preferred webs running at an angle of incidence to the longitudinal direction. However, it is also possible, for example every second Bah deviating from this, d. H. for example also in longitudinal mite to make televisions running through the central axis, whereby these tracks also in the sense of the invention in the same sense can be curved like the outer contour of the inner joint part. In contrast to the first mentioned railways, the cheap tax have properties for the balls with the joint extended, the latter railways are cheaper in their tax function on the balls if there is already a bending angle.
Preferred embodiments of the invention are as follows described with reference to the drawings.

Figs. 1 to 3 will be described jointly below to the extent that common structural components are affected. The joints each have an outer joint part 11 , a joint inner part 12 , torque-transmitting balls 13 and a control cage 14 . The outer joint part is fundamentally ring-shaped and has an inner cylindrical guide surface 15 for the ball cage 14 in any case. In its ring body it has through openings 16 for inserting or screwing in screws which serve to connect the outer joint part 11 to a drive flange. Over the circumference, the outer joint part 11 has first ball tracks 17 , the shape of which will be discussed later.
The inner joint part 12 has the shape of a hub, ie it has an inner opening 18 for inserting a drive shaft, shaft splines 19 being shown as the connecting means. The inner joint part 12 has an outer surface 20 with a contour which is convex in longitudinal section. Distributed circumferentially and assigned to the tracks 17 in the outer joint part, there are second ball tracks 21 in the inner joint part 12 , the shape of which will be discussed below.
On the cage 14 , individual windows 22 for receiving the balls, an outer surface 23 and an inner surface 24 can be distinguished. The cage represents an approximately annular hollow body, the openings and cavities of which are not described in detail below.
The ball tracks 17 , 21 are each shown in section through their longitudinal center lines or their base lines. However, these run at opposite angles inclined to the longitudinal axis A and thus at an angle to each other. This means that the sectional planes in the region of the ball tracks each pivot twice opposite to one another about a radial longitudinal center plane about the vertical axis in the drawing corresponding to the center plane E.
In Fig. 1, a joint is presented in which the outer contour 20 of the inner joint part 12 is substantially spherical section-shaped, ie the surface is defined in longitudinal section by a circular arc R B , although a cylindrical overturn 25 can be seen on both sides of the center plane E. The cage 14 has a spherical outer surface 23 , which is guided in the inner surface 18 of the outer joint part 11 , in accordance with the outer contour of the gel inner part. According to the invention, the path center lines B here also run in the manner of a circular arc in longitudinal section and have the radius R. In the present case, this radius R also happens to limit the inner surface 24 of the cage 14 . The circular base lines, the radii R i and R a of which are also shown, result directly from the circular arc shape of the path center lines B. All radii have a common center M, which lies on the axis A of the inner joint part or the outer joint part, which coincides when the joint is extended. It can be clearly seen that the tracks 21 in the inner joint part 12 have approximately the same depth over the entire axial length of the inner joint part.
A joint is shown in FIG. 2, in which the outer surface 20 of the inner joint part 12 is double-conical, that is to say is roof-shaped in longitudinal section in relation to one half of the drawing. In the area of the central plane E, a rounding 26 can be seen as a transition. Completely different from the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the cage 14 is provided with an outer surface 23 which in principle corresponds to the shape of the outer surface 20 , but the opening angle of the two cones is only half as large. In contrast, the inner surface 24 of the cage 14 is a pure cylindrical surface. The course of the path center lines B does not completely match the outer contour of the inner joint part, rather the path center lines B run in a circular arc, the center of which, however, lies on the outer contour 20 of the inner joint part 12 on the side opposite the respective path. From the course of the web center lines B with the radius R, the radii of curvature of the base lines with R i for the inner joint part and R a for the outer joint part result. There is such a great similarity between the course of the outer contour and the path in the inner joint part that the paths 21 in the inner joint part 12 have a substantially constant depth over the entire axial length.
In Fig. 3, a joint is shown in which the inner joint part corresponds to that of Fig. 2, as the outer contour 20 is essentially double-conical, that is, in longitudinal section with respect to a figure half roof-shaped and a rounding 26 as a transition area in the area of Central plane E. Accordance with the embodiment of FIG. 2 also shows the cage 14 with a similarly roof-shaped outer surface 23 and an inner cylindrical surface 24. The cone opening angle of the cage outer surface 23 is half as large as the cone opening angle on the inner joint part. The path center lines B are composed of a circular arc section with radius R, the center point M of which lies on the longitudinal axis A, and thereon tangent to straight line sections adjoining the sides, which run at an angle β / 2 to the direction of the axis A. Analogous to the previously mentioned statements, the radius R i denotes the curvature of the base line of the web 21 of the inner joint part 12 in the region of the central plane E and the radius R a the curvature of the base line of the path 17 of the outer joint part 11 in the central plane E. Both This is followed by tangential straight lines that run parallel to the center lines B. As in the embodiment according to FIG. 1, this again results in a constant path depth of the paths 21 on the inner joint part 12 .
FIGS. 4 and 5 will be described jointly below to the extent that the meaning representation is concerned. It should each be from top to bottom in the figures, a development of the outer joint part 11 , the ball cage 14 and the inner joint part 12 Ge are shown. These developments can be considered in relation to the joint components 11 and 12 as images of the inner surface of the outer joint part or the outer surface of the inner joint part, alternatively as cylinder sections immediately bar near these surfaces. Be the direction of view, however, is consistent, for. B. from the outside in. The three developments are shown in the circumferentially correct position with respect to one another, ie by pushing one another axially, the correct picture of the ball tracks 17 in the outer joint part and the ball tracks 21 in the inner joint part and the position of the windows 22 in the ball cage 14 relative to one another is obtained. This shows that the transactions are presented with a distortion through which the circumferential distances are angegli Chen, while actually the web distances in the circumferential direction or the window spacing would have to decrease from the outside to the inside.
In Fig. 4, the tracks 17 in the outer joint part 11 and the tracks 21 in the inner joint part 12 with alternating in the circumferential direction alternately opposite angles of attack to the longitudinal direction forms, wherein the superimposed in the illustration, in the assembled position mutually associated tracks 17 in the outer joint part 11 and 21 in the inner joint part 12 in turn have another opposite angle of attack so that their center lines intersect. In cooperation with the windows 22 of the cage 14 , the balls thereby move with relative axial displacement of the joint components and when the joint is deflected into the shifting intersection points of the path center lines of the mutually associated paths.
In FIG. 5, first paths 17 1 in the outer joint part 11 and first tracks 21 1 are constructed in the inner joint part 12 with an angle of incidence with respect to the longitudinal direction of the joint components. Here, however, the tracks 17 1 and 21 1 run in relation to each other in parallel, that is, they each have a corresponding directional pitch angle to the longitudinal direction with respect to the joint component. In each case between two of the above-mentioned tracks 17 1 , 21 1 , second tracks 17 2 in the outer joint part 11 and second tracks 21 2 in the inner joint part 12 are executed, which run parallel to the longitudinal direction of the joint components. The angle of attack of the mutually assigned tracks 17 1 in the outer joint part 11 and 21 1 in the inner joint part 12 are also oriented opposite to each other here, so that here, too, with relative axial displacement of the joint components and when the joint is deflected, the balls held in the assigned paths cooperate with one another the Fen star 22 of the cage 14 are each guided in the shifting intersection of the center lines.
As already explained above, all the paths 17 , 17 1 , 17 2 and 21, 21 1 , 21 2 shown in simplified form in FIGS. 4 and 5 have an outward curvature which is not recognizable here with respect to their respective component axis.
