Die Neuerung bezieht sich auf einen Schutz- und Unterlagsklotz für Glasscheiben, mit Mitteln zur Befestigung an der Glasscheibe. Es sind zum Schutz von Glasscheiben bei Lagerung und Transnort sogenannte Unterlagsklötze bekannt, auf welche die Glasscheibe abgestellt wird. Diese Klötze bestehen zumeist aus Holz or-er Hartgummi. So war es stets erforderlich, mehrere Schutzecken bzw. Unterlagsklötze an der Scheibe anzubringen, um der Verbindungsschnur, bzw. Befestigungsschnur entsOrechenden Halt zu geben. Demgemäß besteht der Sauger aus einem Blechteller 3 bzw. einer durchgewölbten Blechscheibe, welche mit einer mitteleren Durchbrechung oder Bohrung versehen ist, durch welche sich ein Stift erstreckt, der einerseits mit der Gummischeibe 2 a und andererseits mit einem Knebel 4 verbunden ist. Durch Umlegen des Knebels 4 wird die Gummiplatte 2 a in den Blechteller hineingezogen und somit durchgewölbt, wodurch zwischen der Fläche der Glasscheibe 5 und der Gummischeibe selbst ein Vacuum entsteht, durch welches der Sauger an der Scheibe festgehalten wird. Der Blechteller dieses Saugers kann - wie bereits erwähnt - durch eine Blechlasche oder dergl» mit dem Klotz 1 verbunden sein. Es ist jedoch vorteilhaft, für die Verbindung eine Sperrholz- oder Hartfaserplatte 6 zu wählen, welche mit dem Klotz 1 in beliebiger Weise verbunden ist, z.B. entsprechend Fig. 3 in diesen Klotz 1 eingeleimt ist. Es ist auch von Vorteil, auf den Klotz 1 eine Gummiauflage zum Schutz der Glasscheibenkanten und zur besseren Haftung zu befestigen, welche mit 7 bezeichnet ist.
