The invention relates to a diaphragm-controlled slide valve that opens automatically by the liquid pressure) in particular an installation in lubricating oil devices from
especially for <l
Motor vehicles, and also in connection with the valve.

Signal or control flow circuit for a certain liquid
pressure. ',. >'-
With the specially intended use of such valves
ist'die flow rate is very low and varies between, about
2 to 70 drops per minute, depending on the lubricating oil
need of the motor vehicle from idling to full throttle
operation. Because of this low flow rate one uses
Piston slide valves with a very, small piston diameter and
equally small valve openings. This small cross-sectional piston
cut but requires a relatively high opening pressure, what
in the oil pumps designed for small delivery rates, this results in quite high oil losses.

To avoid the disadvantage of the piston valve for this purpose, diaphragm valves have also been proposed. With these, because of the relatively large diaphragm pressure area and with a special design of the valve seat, a valve opening can be achieved at low pressure the oil line, but the defined flow rate is not exact

that for each Steder there is an electrical contact

The shell-shaped recess in the housing part 1 forms a part of the pressure space 6, from which a threaded bore 7 is led to the outside for the connection of the pressure line, not shown. The outlet port 8 for the pressure fluid is embedded in the insulating part 2 and connected to the space 9 above the membrane. The sleeve 11, which acts as a slide, is movably mounted on a pin-like extension 10 of the housing part 1. The upper part of the sleeve reaching through the membrane is closed off by a hat-shaped insulating part 12, which is firmly connected to the sleeve 11 by a tubular rivet 15 with the interposition of a metallic disk 13 and an insulating bushing 14. In the hollow rivet 15 is the working contact 16 soldered its counter-
clock 17 on the free end of the approach 10 is attached. The membrane 3 is attached to the sleeve 11 in a sealed manner by the lower edge of the insulating part 12. Between the disc 13 and a disc 18, the valve spring 19 is clamped, the Pre-tensioning by means of a thread screwed into the insulating part 2
pin 20 can be changed. The threaded pin 20 serves at the same time to connect the electrical supply line, not shown, of a signaling device. The electrical connection is made when the contacts are closed from the connection part 20 via the disk 18, spring 19, disk 13,
Hollow rivet 15 and the contacts 16, 17 to the housing part 1 connected to ground.

On both sides of the fastening point of the membrane 3 on the sleeve 11, the valve openings are provided as radial bores 21a and 21b. The bias of the valve spring 19 and the effective area of the membrane 3 and its elasticity
are dimensioned in such a way that immediately after switching on the internal combustion engine, the oil pump of the automatic mixing system (not shown) has built up the pressure in chamber 6 of the valve which is necessary for the sleeve 11 to open to move the approach 10 so far that the holes 21a
to reach the area of the free end of the bearing attachment 10 and the oil can flow through the slide valve from the pressure chamber 6 into the chamber 9, the contacts 16,17 have opened immediately and the signal circuit remains interrupted until the internal combustion engine or an oil pump again is switched off,
