Die Neuerung betrifft ein Küchengerät zum Zerkleinern, Quirlen und Schlagen von
Nahrungsmitteln, und zwar ein Gerät in Stabform, das aus einem zugleich als Handhabe
dienenden und den Motor aufnehmenden Gehäuse aus Kunststoff besteht und aus einem
in diesem Gehäuse befestigten Rohr, das die Antriebswelle umschliesst. Dieses Rohr
trägt üblicherweise an seinem unteren Ende eine Kappe. Sie umschliesst das Werkzeug,
das auf dem unteren Ende der Antriebswelle befestigt ist. Küchengeräte der genannten
Art sollen verschiedenen Aufgaben dienen und sind dementsprechend mit auswechselbaren
Werkzeugen ausgerüstet. Das Mischen und Schlagen von Flüssigkeiten erfordert möglichst
freiliegende Werkzeuge. Das gleiche gilt auch für das

Zerkleinern von festen Nahrungsmitteln in hohen Gefässen. Anode-
rerseits ist der Einschluss der Werkzeuge in Kappen notwendig, wenn in
flachen
Gefässen gearbeitet werden soll und eine Saugwirkung erforderlich ist. Bisher hat
man sich so beholfen, dass man entweder die Werkzeuge ganz freiliess oder Kappen
mit vorspringenden Jasen verwendete, die einen Abstand des Werkzeuges vom Gefässboden
