Um in explosions-bzw. Gchlaj. vettergefährdeten Räumen Zündungen
durch clektrische Gerate su verneiden, ist es Üblich, die eier"
triachen Gerate in druckfete Gehäuse einzuschließen. Es igt
bekd-mit, Gehäuse zu verwenden, welche aus einem Unterteil
und
einer. it eine : : beoonderen Verschluß versehenen Klappdeckel
be-
stehen. Zwischen dem Deckel undm Gehäuseunterteil ist ein Spalt
vorhanden, der nch den Vorschriften eine bestimmte Länge und
Weite aufv/eioen iuu, dait Jchalt-und Explosionsprodukte beim
Hindurchtreten cnuend ckhlt werden, so da. sie keinen Anlaß
zuZnddurchGchlen eben können. Man kennt auch Gehäuse, die
mit einen sogenannten Gchiebedeckel versehen sind. Diese Deckel
sind in einen chrnier geleert, sie werden zum Zwecke des
Schliecns an dj. G Gehuseunterteil herangeklappt und dann derart
verschoben, daß cie an der Jcharnierseitc und an der ihr gegenüber
liegenden seite in Klauen des Gehäuseunterteiles eingreifen.
Die
beiden anderen Kanten des Deckels liegen frei auf dem Flansch
des
Unterteiles auf. Es ist daher erforderlich, daß der Deckel
ge-
nügend starr ist, so daß er sich bei im Gehäuse auftretenden
Explosionen nicht so sehr durchbleut, daß schädliche Spalter-
Weiterungen die Folge sind. Jedoch lassen sich solche Spaltern
Weiterungen nicht in allen Fällen vermeiden, wenn die Konstruktien

nicht su schwer und dait unwirtschaftlich werden soll. Es ist
auch danit zu rechnen, daß durch sichßrweiternde Spalte Metall-
partikel und dergleichen bei einer auftretenden Explosion frei
durch den Spalt hindurchgeschleudert werden und infolge ihres
hohen rcinhalten auSen ansteh4nde Gase und Gemische zur Ent-

Es sind bereits eine Reihe von Vorschlägen gemacht worden,
um
Zanddurchschläge trotz der Erweiterung des Spaltes zu vermei-
den. So ist z. Do bekannt, den Spalt zwischen Deckel und Gehäuse
wellenförmig auszubilden, so daß er einmal eine große Länge
erhalt, die eine gute Kühlung hindurchstreichender Gase bietet,
und außerdem die Eigcnochaft hat, daß Metallpartikel und andere
heizt IIasaetcilchen auf ihrem','lege gehemnt werden. Eine
solche
Konstruktion ist aber fertiungsmäßig nicht besonders zu empfeh-
lein.
Die neuerunG whlt daher einen anderen Wego Sie geht davon aus.

unterteil in die Richtung der Abhebebewegung des Deckels zu
leen. Bei Gehäusen nit solchen Spalten werden nun aber Deckel

schraubt sind. Ein abheben des Deckels ist bei diesen Konstruk-
fielen somit nicht gegeben. Diese bekannten Gehäuse haben aber
den Nachteil, da3 sie nicht schnell geöffnet und wieder gesicht
sen werden, was in Betrieb unter Tage besonders erwünscht ist*
Aus Grund Grund hat mln z. B. die Gehäuse mit den erwähnten
ochiebeverschlascn entwickelt. Der Nerng.'liegt nun die Er
kenntniû zuGrunde, daß man bei Verwendung von Deckelspalten,

Deckels in keiner Veise mit einer Spalterveiterung rechnen
