Description
The invention has the object au basically provide a light signal in the dark au with a luminescent phosphor, which can be attached at any point and the afterglow long after dark.
In the case of a light signal of the type mentioned at the outset, this object is achieved according to the invention in that a UV light source is assigned to the light signal. This UV light source can be fed from any power source, including an emergency generator. Since the UV-radiation is highly energetic, it is sufficient a very low amount of this radiation to the brightness of the phosphor up rechtzuerhalten. The Fa @., The invention thus makes it possible luminous signals everywhere verzmsehen there, which meant no lights either Z.8. le are in a disaster expected MU8: in deep garages, or where strong lighting can be stdrend under Umntänden, eg for a crosswalk on a dark street, or where riding the failure of Hauptstromquel. For example, sB can be caused by strong belly development in fires in closed trees, see 8. in department stores, there is a strong visual obstruction. In such a case, the developing smoke rises to the ceiling and condenses there, so that the emergency lighting and the information signs or emergency exits are completely covered. The invention now makes it possible to provide on the floor or in the lower part of the de WALLS to the output displayed signals. Such information signs, for example provided on the floor , are normally ignored by the public so that they do not have a disruptive effect. In disaster but fall, when the main lighting fails, they light up widely, with their luminosity len signaled by the associated UV light sources is maintained. These UV light sources may be the signal assigns reasonable on the ceiling side of the walls or directly Fiber. Since the ultraviolet radiation is relatively energy-rich, requires only a very small radiation intensity to the phosphor to keep the light signal at the lights, so that examined if accumulates at the ceiling, a thick smoke that these smoke penetrating part of the UV radiation sufficient to keep the flare on the light to-.
Further advantageous areas of application for the light signals according to the invention are underground train shafts. Here, too, may be seen forward that the UV light source is powered by an independent emergency generator so that advertising expected to disasters with a very low probability of the need, as and fails the UV light source. But as long as the UV light source illuminates the flares shine in undiminished strength, so that they have the audience clearly the way to the emergency exit.
A further advantageous field of application of the invention is shown in FIG. 8. Airfields, in particular for helicopters airfields calcd for military Zwecke..Hier may be a UV light source may be formed the light-emitting signal-bearing body as a structural unit with a, for example. If an airfield then has to be marked, such light signals, which form a structural unit with UV light sources, can be set up to surround the airfield, so that the airfield can be clearly shown to an approaching aircraft, e.g. an approaching helicopter, without irritating other lights.
Um die Leuchtwirkung der Leuchtsignale gemäß der
Erfindung
noch zu verbessern und dabei gleichzeitig möglichst
abrieb-
In this way, plates can be formed from the fluorescent material, from which the light signal can then be cut out in any shape.
. From such plates can now flares cut .erden that can be embedded in floors of a room because of the concentrated at the surface of glass beads, the abrasion resistance of the surface of these signals is very large. .
2 shows a special field of application of the invention, in which a recess is provided in a plate 5 serving as a carrier , in which a signal 6 cut out of the plate 1 is embedded. The carrier plate 5 is with a UV light source ? connected, which radiates UV light directly onto the light signal 6.
The structural unit formed in this way from the carrier plate 5, the light signal 6 and the UV light source T can now be set up at any location, aR for the border of a small airfield intended for military screwdrivers.
In the same way as the light signal .6 is embedded in the carrier plate 5 , the light signal 6 can search in the floor of a Flavse,: .B. a department store or the like., to be left switched to the direction to show an emergency exit. In such a case , the UV light source 7 can be attached independently of the light signal either on the side wall or on the ceiling above the light signal in such a way that the light from the UV light source falls directly on the light signal.
The light signal can also be applied in the form of a coat of paint . Here, where appropriate superiors intended content of small glass beads may be the Abriebtentigkeit egg ner such fluorescent color substantially increase.
