Description
Process for the recovery of high percentage and largely of impurities free. Hydrogen acids of the halogens The invention relates to a method for Extraction of high-percentage hydrogen acids that are largely free of impurities of halogens and 2seudo-halogens from gaseous or liquid, diluted and / or contaminated mixtures, the solutions or mixtures with at least partially selectively absorbent organic solvents are treated, the absorbent with the absorbent taken up by him, a treatment for the greatest possible separation which is subjected to impurities and then the hydrohalic acid from the absorbent is deposited. There are a majority of the cleaning and / or the concentration before, diluted, possibly containing impurities Hydrogen acids of the halogens, be it in the course of the extraction of the acids, may be it is known or proposed for the purpose of processing the acids been, in which the solution containing the acid or the mixture initially with treated with an organic solvent absorbing the solution or the mixture the absorbent with the absorbent it has taken up then one which drives out the pollutants Rinsing treatment with gneted gases or vapors is subjected, and the cleaned Is then absorbed by the absorbent deposited, what may be a concentration of the acid follows. The one to be cleaned and / or too Concentrating acid can be in liquid or gaseous consistency. The individual treatment stages, in particular the absorption process and the self The subsequent cleaning process can overlap in time.
The use of absorbents which enable selective absorption has proven to be advantageous. Corresponding absorbents are, for example, olyaethers and polyols. The absorbents now also have an absorption capacity for other substances, be it that these are contained in the starting solution or in the starting mixture, be it that these are contained in the media with which the absorbent with the absorptive absorbed by it for the purpose the cleaning and / or for the purpose of the subsequent separation of the partially cleaned absorptive from the absorbent. For the purpose of further purification, it is generally necessary to recirculate part of the absorbent which is obtained in a more or less pure form, as a result of which the yield is impaired. The acid that ultimately arises, however, still has a relatively low degree of purity and a relatively low concentration, since noticeable levels of impurities and water remain attached to the absorbent and are carried along with it. In this way, at most, acid concentrations of the order of 50 to 6U;% are achieved. if air is present or if oxygen is formed during the process - even if only in small traces - xorrosion phenomena in the system for carrying out the process become noticeable in an undesirable manner. In the presence of oxygen, polymerization or coking of the organic solvent serving as absorbent can also occur.
According to the invention there is now a method for the production of high percentage and hydrogen acids of the halogens and pseudo-halogens that are largely free of impurities from gaseous or liquid, dilute and / or contaminated mixtures, wherein the solutions b - w mixtures with an at least partially selectively absorbent organic solvents are treated, the absorbent with the absorbed by it Subject to absorbent treatment to separate the impurities as far as possible becomes 1 and the hydrohalic acid is then separated from the Abar; e. suggested. that is what #: er: nzeicliilet is that the absorbent with the absorbed by him in a separating column in countercurrent with a die Impurities and the water expelling inert gas is flushed through, and the Hydrohalic acid is then separated from the absorbent in a manner known per se will.
For economic and procedural reasons, you will Absorbent after separation of the purified acid of the absorption coefficient in the return flow feed again. In particular, this wakes up - in an advantageous manner, noticeably, that the effectiveness of the absorbent when using inert gas as the purge gas is practical:; "#: h remains unrestricted. The inert gas can also be recovered and use again * 'An application in which the inventive Procedure a 1.s oear, nders advantageously takes place, represents the extraction of hochpr -) ;: en-t-iger And largely SiP4-free hydrofluoric acid from ü ,, SiP6-Zösun-L cool and from gaseous or liquid, ILF, SiP4 and / or H2SiFh preserve foreign substances, the solutions or mixtures with one Aliphatic polyether acting as an absorbent or polyol are treated, the absorbent with the absorbent it has taken up a treatment for the greatest possible separation of the SiF4 is subjected, and the Hydrofluoric acid is then separated from the absorbent, in which the absorbent with the absorbent it has taken up in a separating column in countercurrent an inert gas expelling the SiF4 and H2O is flushed through, and the hydrofluoric acid is then separated from the absorbent in a manner known per se. Once got there one here to hydrofluoric acid concentrations as they are not with the known processes can be achieved, on the other hand, it is precisely that with hydrofluoric acid when oxygen is added associated corrosion eliminated.
Especially in connection with the production of hydrofluoric acid Polyglycol as the absorbent and nitrogen as the flushing gas proved to be expedient. But carbonic acid can also be used as a purge gas. Favorable working temperatures can be achieved by setting a temperature gradient of about 350C from the foot to the Head of the column, i.e. in countercurrent to the liquid phase with the lower Head temperature must be at least 1000C.
When obtaining hydrofluoric acid from li2SiF6 solutions and from gaseous ones or liquid mixtures containing HF, SiF and / or H2 SiF4 can be the Inert gas expelled SiF4 and the I120 as well as entrained hydrofluoric acid worked up urid bs recovered or H2SiF6 converted by hydrolysis the absorption column are fed in the circuit, so that a practically 100% Yield is achieved.
The drawing shows a system for carrying out the invention Procedure shown in a very schematic way.
The overheated solution at reiniger.de is fed through line 16 introduced into the lower part of the absorption column 11 and flows through the Feed line 17 introduced into the upper part of the absorption column 11: n absorbent opposite. The constituents of the mixture to be worked up accumulate on the absorbent, preferring the acid to be obtained.
The absorbent with the absorbent it has taken up occurs on the floor the absorption column 11 and passes through the connecting line 18 overhead in the separating column 12, in which it in the lower part of the separating column 12 by the feed line 19 introduced preheated inert gas flows in the opposite direction. The inert gas selectively brushes the impurities taken up by the absorbent -,; uri, yen and that Water drains off and comes out overhead laden with the impurities and the water the separating column 12 from. That which is now only laden with acid Absorbent emerges from the separating column 12 at the bottom and passes through the connecting line 21 in the separation system 13, in which the acid in a known manner from the absorbent is deposited. The separated acid emerges overhead from the Separation system 13 and passes through the department 22 to a not shown Filling station. The absorbent emerging from the separation system 13 at the bottom is pumped back through the line 17 ', 17 into the absorption column 11 (23).
The emerging from the separation column 12, with the impurities and Inert gas laden with the water can, if appropriate partially, pass through the connecting line 1t3 of the absorption column 11 are fed, provided that the selective addition of the absorbent to the absorbent promoting effect of the inert gas can be exploited should, the excess, possibly also the total with the impurities and The inert gas laden with water is passed through line 24 of the treatment plant 14 supplied or discharged. If necessary, through the absorption column 11 directed partial or total amount of the inert gas emerges overhead from the absorption column 11 and arrives together with the unabsorbed constituents of the starting mixture through the connecting line 24 'into the newspaper 24.
In the processing plant 14, a recovery can if necessary of the inert gas, which is then passed through the lines 19 ', 19 in the separating column 12 is returned, possibly also a recovery of entrained acid or processing of suitable impurities to the acid, which are then returned to the absorption column 11 through the newspapers 16 ', 16 will. Impurities or residues that cannot be processed are removed by the discharge 26 discharged.
The loading of the absorption column 11 with inert gas is by means of of the three-way valve 2'T provided in the connecting line 18 can be regulated.
The temperature conditions in the absorption column 11 and in the Separating column 12 are arranged in the columns 11 and 12 by means of the heating or Cooling elements 28 can be influenced.
Through the feed line 29 iat the introduction of azeotropic acid into the Separating column 12 possible.
The plant described was used to obtain purified, = chprozentiger Hydrofluoric acid from dilute H2SiF6 solutions (I and II) is used, which is known particularly difficult procedural problems arise. For those listed under II In addition, azeotropic hydrofluoric acid was fed into the separating column, which is obtained as a bottom product in the rectification of the high percentage hydrofluoric acid. Polyglycol was used as an absorbent with a medium weight of 400 used. Nitrogen was used as the purge gas. In the part of the plant absorption column - Separating column was in countercurrent to the liquid phase, a temperature gradient of 105 to 133 ° C. The absorption column and the separation column can of course can also be combined into one structural unit. ian is then possibly in the upper Provide part of the system with a tap for withdrawing a portion of the purging gas. In parallel tests, partly nitrogen (B) was used as the purging gas and partly no purging gas (A) inserted. A portion of the nitrogen-containing purge gas was through the Absorption column passed.
The test results that make statements about the yield and the separation effect can be found in Table 1. Table 2 contains information from long-term tests, the conclusions on the resistance of the absorbent when using an inert gas as a purge gas, with the tests marked A in the presence of Oxygen were run, and the experiments marked with B were oxygen-free Nitrogen atmosphere.
From Table 1 - see in particular the values marked with X and Y - it can be seen that the highest hydrofluoric acid concentrations are achieved with the lowest SiF4 contents when nitrogen is used as the flushing gas. As can be seen from the corresponding values under II, the azeotropic hydrofluoric acid can also be concentrated in this way without the proportion of water in the absorbent loaded with hydrofluoric acid increasing. From Table 2 it can be seen that when nitrogen is used as the flushing gas, the absorbent retains its full absorption capacity even over longer periods of time.
