Halterung von Glasscheiben oder Brüstungsplatten in einem Fensterrahmen aus Holz, der raumseitig einen Falz zur Aufnahme der Glasscheiben oder Brüstungsplatten aufweist; welche an ihren Rändern von Dichtungsleisten umgeben sind, die von einer Glashalteleiste unter Vorspannung gehalten sind, dadurchgekennzeichn e t, daß in den Falz (8) des Fensterrahmens (2) ein mit diesem verbundenes, im Querschnitt L-förmiges Metallprofil (12) eingesetzt ist; das einen die Glasscheiben (10) oder die Brüstungsplatten (22) und deren Dichtungsleisten (24, 26) aufnehmenden Rahmen bildet, daß das freie Ende des rahmenparallelen Schenkels (14) des Metallprofils (12) mit der Rahmenlichtkante des Fensterrahmens (2) etwa bündig liegt, daß der andere, senkrecht zur Rahmenebene liegende Schenkel (18) die Glashalteleiste (20) trägt und daß die äußere der Dichtungsleisten (26) winkelförmig ausgebildet ist und mit dem abgewinkelten Dichtungsschenkel (28) die von der Rahmenlichtkante ausgehende innere Sichtfläche (16) des Fensterrahmens (2) übergreift; wobei dieser Dichtungsschenkel (28) auf seiner Innenseite eine Längsleiste (30) aufweist; die in eine Längsnut (32) in der inneren Sichtfläche (16) des Fensterrahmens (2) abdichtend eingesetzt ist.
