Magnetic bodies attract each other or repel each other. in the the first case is the lower of the two magnetic bodies, in the second case Case the upper of the two Magnetkb'rper "attached to the rotor shaft. Magnetic bearings are known which, as floating bearings, keep the rotor in suspension, and magnetic bearings are known which only partially compensate for the runner's weight and then as Relief camps are designated.
. - - ■usually each of the two itiagnetic bodies consists entirely of one e.g. disc-shaped or cylindrical permanent magnet. £ s. The protective cap not only shortens the Eisemveg for the magnetic flux of the Lauermagneten, but it directs the out of the back of the permanent magnet exiting power flow also towards the active air gap, so that the attractive or repulsive force between the two Magnetic body is still enlarged. . - - ■
.The shape of the magnet body is, as already indicated, as a rule a rotational body shape; it is, for example, cylindrical or disk-shaped, with or without a central hole, and they are also hollow-cylindrical Magnet body known. .

Man kann die Schwellstellen auch als Haltepunkte bezeichnen« Mechanical and magnetic asymmetries have an unpleasant effect with such magnets. Mechanical asymmetries give the rotating magnet an eccentric movement in addition to the orbital movement, possibly in different coordinate directions, which is undesirably transferred to the rotor shaft. But also ν with complete mechanical symmetry The circumferential movement is free of mechanical friction, but not swell-free. At beat imrat, more or less pronounced points of the revolution, small he mais te He η; " So-called thresholds or thresholds, which require a certain torque to overcome. They have the effect that the runner only begins to turn after the threshold value or the threshold torque has been reached the threshold points. The threshold points can also be referred to as breakpoints «
The swellings are based on the inevitable unevenness of the facing end faces of the magnet bodies as well as unavoidable irregularities in the material composition permanent magnets, which are usually manufactured using the pressing process will. In Fig. 5, a magnetic .Entlastungslager is shown as an example, with the Magn et bodies 10 and 20, but, as can be seen from their polarity shown, attract each other. In the case of the magnetic bodies 10 and 20, the mutually facing end faces are also convex. The magnetic bearing reduces the effective weight of the rotor to a fraction of the normal weight, so that the lower bearing of the shaft, eg a stone bearing, is only slightly stressed.
Solche Hüllkappen sind zwar, wie schon erwähnt, an sich bekannt; neu ist aber in Fig. 6, daß dieIn the embodiment in FIG. 6, there are two magnetic bodies 1 and 2 not only each from a permanent magnet body 11, but also, from one cup-shaped each surrounding the permanent magnet body Envelope cap 12 made of soft magnetic material, e.g. made of soft iron » Each of the enveloping caps 12 lies with its pot bottom on the the end face of the permanent magnet assigned to it facing away from the air gap 3 close to, and the pot or front edges of the two enveloping caps 12 are facing each other. Such enveloping caps are, as already mentioned, known per se; but what is new in FIG. 6 is that the

Auch hiermit wird erreioht, daß der Abatand der einander zugekehrten Stirnseiten der beiden Magnetkörper mit zunehmendem Radius größer wird« · · Front edges of the enveloping caps at the air gap 3 are not flush with the The faces of the magnets 11 are located, sondesn slightly opposite these back away. This also ensures that the abatand of the facing end faces of the two magnetic bodies becomes larger with increasing radius «· ·
In the exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 6, the two magnetic bodies 1 and 2, or 10 and 20, have the same shape through each other. Both magnetic bodies are either stepped or convex on the end face. To simplify production, the stationary magnet body © also has a central hole that remains unused or, if necessary, screwed on or the like. of the magnet body »can» In itself, however, in many cases it can be sufficient if only one of the two magnet bodies is designed step-shaped or convex, since the condition is then still fulfilled 9 that the mutual distance between the two magnet bodies with increasing radius gets bigger. If desired, the magnetic bodies can also be composed of individual, for example sector-shaped or concentric pieces.

Luftspalt. Air gap. In addition, the design according to FIG. 7 differs from that in FIG. 6 in that in FIG. 7 the pot or end edges of the enveloping caps are flush with the end faces of the permanent magnets. The aforementioned air gap between the upper magnetic body and its; The enveloping cap can be small, but in any case it results in a weakening of the magnetic forces at the pot or front edges of the enveloping caps. Here, too, special means are used to ensure that irregularities in the magnetic bodies on their front sides facing the active air gap are less noticeable at the edge, ala in the middle of the front sides, because since the front edges of both enveloping caps are stationary, there is no relative movement between them. so the irregularities cannot have an effect on a relative movement either. The outer air gap between the pot edges is drawn inwards to a small radius, as it were, by creating a second air gap 31 next to the air gap 3; the air gap 3 tries to enlarge, the air gap 31 to decrease, and the forces act upwards in both air gaps. When two forces only the inner magnetic body is involved in the rotation, so that the magnetic unevenness in the main only aA magnetic body effects with its small radius.
In Weiterbildung des Beispiels in Fig. 7 ist in Fig. 8 der Luftspalt zwischen den beiden feststehenden Kappen 12 (Fig. 7) ganzIn a further development of the example in FIG. 7, the air gap is in FIG. 8 between the two fixed caps 12 (Fig. 7) completely
