eindringendes Wasser.Device for ventilating and ventilating motor vehicles It is known for ventilating the engine compartment of motor vehicles to attach air passage openings in the form of slots or gills (pipes) to the hood. Gills that are driven or pressed out of the bonnet, which only provide partial protection against the ingress of water, are an obstacle to the flow of the over the bonnet stroking air, which is in local vortex formation and thus increased
Air resistance is expressed. Simple, slot-like openings can only be used on the side walls. At the top they do not provide any protection against penetrating water.
