B. von weiblichen Genitalien, mittelst der bisherigen Lichtbadevorrichtungen durch directe Lichtstrahlen verursacht in den meisten Fällen unerträgliche Schmerzen bezw. Brennen und mufs daher trotz ihres therapeutischen Werthes häufig unterlassen werden. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist eine Lichtbadevorrichtung, welche eine schmerzlose oder doch erträgliche Behandlung dadurch ermöglicht, dafs die Lichtstrahlen nicht direct, sondern indirect auf die empfindliche Körperstelle einwirken.The treatment of wounds, mucous membranes and other sensitive parts of the body, z. Die Innenwandung c des Beckens α bildet helle Reflexionsfiächen. Der obere Rand d des Beckens bildet zweckmäfsig einen einfachen oder gepolsterten Holzsitz. Die Glühlampen b sind gemäfs Fig. 1 und 2 unterhalb des Beckenrandes d befestigt und durch eine Wand e gegen die obere Becken-Öffnung/ verdeckt. Diese Wand e verhindert die unmittelbare Ausstrahlung des Lichtes, aus der Beckenöffnung f. Die Lichtstrahlen fallen vielmehr särnmtlich auf die innere Beckenwand c, werden von derselben reflectirt und durch die Beckenöffnung_/ gegen die zu behandelnde Körperstelle des Patienten geworfen. Die Bestrahlung ist also durchweg eine indirecte. Nach Fig. 3 sind die Lampen b unten in einer Reihe in der mittleren Längsachse des Beckens a angeordnet und von einer geraden, gekrümmten oder winkligen Leiste / gegen die Beckenöffnung f abgedeckt. Auch kann statt der Ueberdachung / der obere Theil m der Lampenglocken gemäfs Fig. 4 durch einen Quecksilberbelag, Anstrich oder dergl. undurchlässig hergestellt sein. Endlich können auch zwei Reihen Lampen gemäfs Fig. 5 unten und gemäfs Fig. 6 zu beiden Seiten des Beckens angeordnet und durch Leisten / abgedeckt sein. Nach dem Beispiel der Fig. 1 und 2 ist diese Lichtbadevorrichtung nach Arf eines Stuhles mit Füfsen g und Armlehnen h ansgestattet. Letztere können mittelst Schlitzführungen i und Klemmschrauben k nach der Höhe verstellbar angeordnet sein. Die Patienten sitzen wie auf einem Sattel rittlings auf dem Becken. Das Becken kann auch eine runde, ovale oder eckige Sitzform erhalten und mit einer Rückenlehne versehen werden.
