Wenn man sich den Rücken bräunen lassen will, liegt man auf herkömmlichen Luftmatratzen unbequem. Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt die Beseitung dieses Nachteils. Diese Aufgabe wird durch die Merkmalskombination der Ansprüche gelöst.
Nachfolgend wird ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung anhand der Zeichnung erläutert. Darin zeigt:

Beim Sonnenbaden in Bauchlage zum Bräunen des Rückens ist es praktisch unmöglich, auf einer herkömmlichen Luftmatratze eine atemfreie und bequeme Körperlage zu erreichen. will man, um ein freies Atmen zu erreichen, die Nase frei halten, so ist man gezwungen, unter der Stirn die Arme zu kreuzen mit dem Ergebnis, dass nach kurzer Zeit Nacken und Arme schmerzen, weil der Kopf in den Nacken gedrückt und die Arme in den Schultern nach oben gepresst werden. Hinzu kommt, dass bei längerem Liegen auf dem Bauch der Rücken schmerzt, weil die Rückenwirbelsäule durch die gleichmässig horizontale Unterlage zu einem "hohlen Rücken" gezwungen wird. Schliesslich schmerzen auch die Füsse und Zehen, weil sie, sollen sie nicht senkrecht und daher schmerzhaft auf den Boden treffen, abgedreht werden müssen.
Die in den Zeichnungen dargestellte Luftmatratze hat eine Oberseite 1, eine annähernd ebene Unterseite 2, eine kopfseitige Stirnseite 3, eine fussseitige Stirnseite 4 und zwei Seitenflächen 5. Die Oberseite 1 hat beabstandet von beiden Stirnseiten 3, 4 einen annähernd ebenen, annähernd parallel zur Unterseite 2 verlaufenden Mittelbereich 6 für die Auflage von Brust und Bauch einer liegenden Person. In ihrem Kopfteil hat die Oberseite 1 eine bogenförmige Vertiefung mit einer Auflage 9 für die Stirn. Die Auflage 9 ist tiefer als der Mittelbereich 6. Der die Auflage 9 umgebende Endbereich 10 ist gleich hoch wie oder etwas höher als der Mittelbereich 6. Zwischen der Auflage 9 und dem Mittelbereich 6 erstreckt sich ein Kanal 7 quer zwischen den Seitenflächen 5, dessen Grund 8 tiefer ist als die Auflage 9.
Fussseitig anschliessend an den Mittelbereich 6 erstreckt sich über einen Teil der Breite der Matratze eine Mulde 11 zur Aufnahme der Beine. Das fussseitige Ende der Mulde 11 und die beiden Seitenbereiche 12 seitlich der Mulde 11 sind gleich hoch wie der Mittelbereich 6. Der Mittelbereich 6 hat gegen den Kanal 7 hin auf beiden Seiten eine Abschrägung 13.
Zur Erzielung der beschriebenen Form der Oberseite 1 der Matratze sind Oberseite 1 und Unterseite 2 durch Längs- und/oder Querwände und/oder durch rohrartige Zwischenstücke und/oder durch Absteppungen in herkömmlicher Weise miteinander verbunden. Von diesen Verbindungen ist nur schematisch eine Querwand 15 in der Mulde 11 dargestellt. Selbstverständlich sind Ober- und Unterseite 1, 2 zwischen diesen Verbindungen etwas ausgewölbt. Der zuvor verwendete Begriff "eben" ist also sinngemäss zu verstehen.
Wie in Fig. 2 und 3 veranschaulicht ist, wird durch die beschriebene Ausbildung der Luftmatratze erreicht, dass man auf der Oberseite 1 vollkommen entspannt auf dem Bauch liegen kann. Durch die tiefere Lage der Auflage 9 wird die Halswirbelsäule spürbar entlastet; dadurch werden Nackenschmerzen völlig vermieden. Durch den Kanal 7 wird das ganze Gesicht (mit Ausnahme der Stirn), insbesondere die Nase freigehalten und von Frischluft umspült. Dadurch wird ein völlig ungehindertes Atmen erreicht und ein Schwitzen im Gesicht, wo es am unangenehmsten ist, vermieden oder doch wesentlich vermindert. Durch die Mulde 11 sind die Beine leicht angewinkelt. Dadurch ergibt sich eine unverspannte, natürlich gekrümmte Wirbelsäule (kein "hohles Kreuz"), wodurch die Rückenschmerzen vermieden werden.
Die Mulde 11 hat überdies den Vorteil, dass durch die Schrägstellung der Unterschenkel die Füsse in ihrer natürlichen Stellung gehalten werden können und die Zehen den Boden nicht berühren. Dadurch werden Fuss- und Zehenschmerzen vermieden. Durch die Abschrägungen 13 wird erreicht, dass die Arme bequem, weil etwas abgewinkelt, seitlich der Matratze abgelegt werden können, und zwar sowohl nach vorn wie nach hinten (Bräunen der Unterseite der Arme).
Wenn man auf dem Rücken oder auf der Seite liegen will, wird die Luftmatratze umgedreht, so dass die annähernd ebene Unterseite 2 oben ist.
Falls die Luftmatratze auch im Wasser verwendet werden soll, kann es zweckmässig sein, den Luftkanal 7 seitlich durch Stege 14 teilweise oder ganz abzuschliessen, was in Fig. 4 und 5 strichpunktiert angedeutet ist. Damit kann die Nase sicher trocken gehalten werden, und die Matratze erhält dadurch eine erhöhte Stabilität.
Es kann ferner aus produktionstechnischen Gründen zweckmässig sein, dass die Mulde 11 - wie in Fig. 5 strichpunktiert angedeutet - in ihrer gesamten Ausdehnung die gleiche Tiefe 16 aufweist, wobei diese Tiefe annähernd dem Abstand entspricht, den der Grund 8 des Kanals 7 von der Oberseite 6 hat. Dies verhindert nicht nur ein Aufliegen der Ober- und Unterschenkel des Benützers auf der Matratze und damit ein vermehrtes Schwitzen der Beine, sondern verleiht der Matratze auch ein einfacheres, harmonisches Aussehen.
Durch die erfindungsgemässe Luftmatratze werden Beschwerden beim Liegen in Bauchlage nicht nur verhindert, sondern auch gelindert. Da die anatomisch richtige Form der Matratze eine spürbare Entlastung von Hals- und Rückenwirbelsäule bewirkt, ist die Matratze insbesondere auch für Rücken- und Rheumaleidende eine echte Hilfe. Auch Leute mit bloss "schwachem" Rücken - welcher rasch ermüdet und schmerzt werden die neue Matratze zum gelegentlichen Ausruhen begrüssen. Dabei kann die Matratze sehr gut als Bett-Auflage, auf der Couch oder sonstwo in der Wohnung benützt werden.

The air mattress shown in the drawings has an upper side 1, an approximately flat lower side 2, a head-side end side 3, a foot-side end side 4 and two side surfaces 5. The upper side 1 has an approximately flat, approximately parallel to the underside, spaced from both end sides 3, 4 2 running central area 6 for the support of the chest and stomach of a lying person. In its head part, the top 1 has an arcuate depression with a support 9 for the forehead. The support 9 is deeper than the central region 6. The end region 10 surrounding the support 9 is the same height as or slightly higher than the central region 6. Between the support 9 and the central region 6, a channel 7 extends transversely between the side surfaces 5, the bottom of which 8 is deeper than edition 9.
At the foot end, adjoining the central region 6, a depression 11 extends over part of the width of the mattress to accommodate the legs. The end of the trough 11 on the foot side and the two side areas 12 on the side of the trough 11 are of the same height as the central area 6. The central area 6 has a bevel 13 on both sides towards the channel 7.
To achieve the described shape of the top 1 of the mattress, the top 1 and bottom 2 are connected to one another in a conventional manner by longitudinal and / or transverse walls and / or by tubular intermediate pieces and / or by stitching. As is illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 3, the design of the air mattress described here means that one can lie completely relaxed on the upper side 1 on the stomach. Due to the lower position of the support 9, the cervical spine is noticeably relieved; this completely avoids neck pain. Through the channel 7, the entire face (with the exception of the forehead), in particular the nose, is kept free and is surrounded by fresh air. This enables completely unimpeded breathing and sweating on the face, where it is most unpleasant, is avoided or significantly reduced. Through the trough 11, the legs are slightly angled. This results in an uncomfortable, naturally curved spine (not a "hollow cross"), which prevents back pain.
The trough 11 also has the advantage that the feet can be held in their natural position by the inclination of the lower legs and the toes do not touch the ground. This avoids foot and toe pain. The bevels 13 ensure that the arms can be conveniently placed on the side of the mattress, because they are slightly angled, both to the front and to the rear (tanning the underside of the arms).
If you want to lie on your back or on your side, the air mattress is turned over so that the almost flat underside 2 is on top.
If the air mattress is also to be used in water, it may be expedient to partially or completely close off the air duct 7 laterally by means of webs 14, which is indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIGS. 4 and 5. This ensures that the nose can be kept dry and the mattress is more stable.
It may also be expedient for production-technical reasons that the trough 11 - as indicated by dash-dotted lines in FIG. 5 - has the same depth 16 in its entire extent, this depth approximately corresponding to the distance that the base 8 of the channel 7 from the top 6 has. This not only prevents the user's thighs and lower legs from resting on the mattress and thus sweating of the legs, but also gives the mattress a simpler, more harmonious look.
The air mattress according to the invention not only prevents, but also alleviates discomfort when lying in the prone position. Since the anatomically correct shape of the mattress noticeably relieves the strain on the cervical and spine, the mattress is a real help, especially for those suffering from back and rheumatism. Even people with only "weak" backs - who quickly tire and hurt will greet the new mattress for occasional rest. The mattress can be used very well as a bed cover, on the couch or anywhere else in the apartment.
