The invention relates to containers for bleaching cellulose pulp. In a known container for Bleaching of cellulose pulp is carried out in a highly diluted slurry via pipelines The pulp fed to the lower end of the container is initially thickened by means of a sieve bottom. the Pulp then rises up in the container and becomes in a higher cross-section with the bleaching agent Chemical is added, which then penetrates the thickened pulp in countercurrent. This procedure has the Disadvantage that the mixing of the pulp with bleach is slow, uneven and under certain circumstances done incompletely. Mixing would be better and more even if the consistency the pulp would be lower, but then economically unacceptably large amounts of bleach would have to be used are fed.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a container for treating cellulose pulp to create with a bleaching agent in which the bleaching reaction is carried out at high consistency of the pulp can be added while mixing the bleach into the pulp slurry low consistency of the pulp is made.
The object is achieved in such a way that the lower part of the container forms a mixing chamber, which is provided with stirrers and in which the pulp is of comparatively low consistency is thoroughly mixed with bleach and removed from the rest of the container through a sieve body is separated, which has open areas for the passage of the pulp, whereby the body can rotate around the axis of the container and extends up to the vicinity of its jacket, so that in the essentially the entire cross-sectional area of the container is swept by the screen body. By the screen body, which is connected to the interior of the hollow axis of rotation that supports it, and its Holes are so fine that the cellulose fibers of the pulp cannot penetrate them, then the ascending pulp withdrew a part of the liquid, so that the in the container above the sieve body pulp located has a high consistency, which favors the bleaching process.

The container shown consists essentially of a standing cylinder for bleaching Cellulose pulp as it is continuously moved up through the container. The cylindrical one Jacket 11 of the container, which can be made of sheet iron or reinforced concrete, goes to his lower part into a bottom 13, which is shown curved spherically, but also as a concentric one annular trough can be conical or designed in any other shape, which to the cylindrical Jacket 11 fits and a suitable bottom end of the container without any sharp edges or corners. At its upper end, the container is covered by a cover 15 with a Channel 17 completed, which extends around the cylindrical jacket 11 around on the outside thereof. The pulp, which rises vertically upwards through the container, is carried by one on the cover 15 attached rotating scraper 19 promoted into the channel from which it is powered by a power 21 exits.
The pulp to be bleached in the container comes from a rotatable washing filter 23 from which it passes a pump 25 is pumped via a line 27 into the container through an inlet 29 which is in the bottom 13 is arranged in the middle. The consistency of the pulp fed to the container can be comparatively high be.

In the lower part of the container, preferably at the level at which the cross section of the container decreases and merges into the bottom 13, or a little above this height, a rotatable screen body is arranged, which consists of essentially horizontal sieve plates 31, 33 and 35, which are attached to a central hub 37 are attached. Seen from above, the sieve plates have the shape of sectors of a circle and are therefore limited by two approximately radially extending straight edges and one curved edge, which latter is closely adjacent to the jacket 11. Between the plates 31, 33 and 35 are located open sector-shaped areas 39, 41 and 43 through which the pulp goes up through the screen body can rise through it. The screen body forms the upper delimitation of a mixing chamber 45, which is located on the Bottom 13 of the container is located near the inlet 29. In this chamber 45 a thorough one happens Mixing of the introduced substance or material by stirrer 47 from rotatable helical Blade or pump wheels.
The hub 37 of the screen body is attached to a shaft 49 which is arranged coaxially in the container and extends through its floor. The lower end of the shaft is via a gearbox with a Motor 51 connected. The sieve plates 31, 33 and 35 are double-walled and their upper and lower ones flat surfaces are permeable and provided with openings or slots 53 through which the liquid content the pulp, but not the fibers, can enter the cavity 55 of the sieve plates.
In the shaft 49 a bore is provided, the upper end of which with the cavities 55 of the sieve plates is in communication and its lower end is connected to an outer fixed circulation pipe 57 is. A pump 59 is inserted into the line, which draws liquid from the strainer body and passes it through injects the other end of the line connected to inlet 29 so that the liquid in the Is kept in circulation. Water from the line 61 can be pumped into the circulation line as required to the consistency of the diluted pulp in the mixing chamber 45 to a desired value to keep. Through a heat exchanger 63 inserted into line 57 or through direct Steam blowing can add heat to the circulating liquid to a sufficient degree to maintain a desired reaction temperature in the bleach tank. The bleach is fed through line 65 and introduced into the circulation line, e.g. B. by a steam injector 67. In the mixing chamber 45, the bleaching agent is thoroughly mixed into the pulp, the Mixing process is facilitated by diluting the pulp to a low consistency. If the Pulp is conveyed up through the open areas of the screen body, it becomes a suction effect suspended by the moving screen body, which is uniform over the entire cross-sectional area of the Container is distributed, whereby the liquid content of the pulp through the bore of the shaft 49 is partially sucked off and discharged, while the pulp thickened as a result slowly flows through the container is moved upward without further stirring so that the bleaching reaction with the desired high consistency.
-In order to prevent the pulp from being carried along by the screen body as it rotates, a A number of wings 69 are provided immediately above the screen body, which are attached to the casing 11 are attached, extend radially into the container and are interconnected at the center thereof. A similar series of radially extending vanes 71 attached to the shell 11 are in one Placed level directly under the strainer body. Their inner ends are connected with a ring 73, which surrounds the shaft 59. -
The invention is not limited to the embodiment shown and described, but rather can experience any changes within its framework. For example, the bleach can can be added to the pulp at an earlier stage and the pulp may already have a low consistency before it enters the container.
