In beiden Fällen werden Frottierwaren erhalten, bei denen sich die Schlingen leicht aus dem Grund herausziehen lassen. Die Erfindung basiert auf der Erkenntnis, daß bei der Kombination von Fäden mit unterschiedlichem Schrumpfvermögen besondere Effekte erzielt werden können, sofern man einen aus einer derartigen Kornbination bestehenden Gegenstand einem Schrumpfvorgang unterwirft. Es ist z. B. durch die deutschen Auslegeschriften 1 024 915, 1 069 560 schon bekannt, zur Erzielung einer blasenartigen (»cloqueartigen«) Oberflächenstruktur bei der Herstellung des Gewebes den Grundstoff aus teilweise schrumpffähigem, teilweise nicht schrumpffähigem Faden zu bilden, so daß beim nachfolgenden Schrumpfvorgang die schrumpfenden Fäden die ihnen benachbarten nicht schrumpfenden Fäden zu gewölbten Flächenteilen verziehen. Bei diesen bekannten Stoffen kann jedoch nicht von einer frotteeartigen Oberflächenstruktur die Rede sein, da die fadenverschiebende Wirkung der schrumpfenden Fäden nicht auf einzelne schrampffähige Fäden beschränkt bleibt, sondern eine Vielzahl benachbarter Fäden beeinflußt, zumal bei Geweben zwischen den Gewebefäden nur eine auf Reibungsschluß beruhende Verbindung besteht.
