Description

Burner consisting of a supply of oxygen at the front End gradually burning down steel pipe The invention relates to a burner, consisting of a gradually burning off with the supply of oxygen at the front end Steel pipe. The temperature that can be achieved with this device most resistant materials in a simple and basic way to create a burner of the type mentioned at the beginning, with which even the hardest and most resistant materials in simple and can be destroyed and crushed reliably and in the shortest possible time.

The invention consists in that in the middle of the combustion tube a or several wires made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy are drawn in and are surrounded by steel wires with a smaller cross-section in such a way that that an unimpeded supply of oxygen is guaranteed between the wires.

In the interaction of the oxygen supplied under pressure with the steel burning at the tip of the pipe and the magnesium-aluminum alloy, which burns particularly at a high temperature, a locally limited and high temperature jet flame is created that hard stones such as basalt, marble, ore are difficult to destroy - and fireclay slag, cast iron and concrete bodies with great working depth and with a small cutting width can be separated or cut in a short time by liquefaction. The new burner is suitable for making boreholes in hard rock and, if necessary with an extended pipe, can be used for burning or gasifying oil liquids that float on a water surface or have penetrated into the ground. The new cutting torch is easy to handle and has the further advantage that the burning process is itself free from vibration and were less noise going on.

Es zeigt F i g. 1 eine Seitenansicht des Brenners, F i g. 2 den Brennerkopf im Längsschnitt und in größerem Maßstab, F i g. 3 einen Schnitt nach der Linie III-III (F i g. 2).An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows F i g. 1 is a side view of the burner, FIG. 2 the burner head in longitudinal section and on a larger scale, F i g. 3 shows a section along the line III-III ( FIG. 2).

1 with a burner tube of any length is referred to, the front end of which forms the mouthpiece and the rear end part is inserted interchangeably in a burner head serving as a handle. This consists of a cylindrical housing 2, which has a plurality of gripping grooves 3 on its outer surface. The housing 2 is connected at its conically tapered end part 4 with the interposition of a valve 5 to an oxygen line 6 . At the front end of the housing, a screw cap 7 is provided which cooperates with a cylindrical clamping body 8 which is inserted in the housing 2 and clamps the combustion tube 1 . This consists of an elastically deformable material such. B. Hartgununi and is provided with a metal disc 9 and 10 on each of its two end faces. A central longitudinal bore 11 of the clamping body 8 is used to receive the combustion tube 1, which is secured in the housing that when the cover 7 is screwed on, the clamping body 8 is compressed in the longitudinal direction and at the same time expanded in the radial direction inward and outward. In this way, on the one hand, the cylindrical outer surface of the clamping body 8 is pressed against the inner wall of the housing 2 and, on the other hand, the bore wall against the combustion tube 1 , so that a reliable fastening and at the same time a perfect seal of the tube 1 is achieved in a simple manner and in the shortest possible time.

In the longitudinal center axis of the combustion tube 1 is a wire-shaped body 13 made of a magnesium-aluminum alloy, for. B. electron metal is provided which is surrounded concentrically by a plurality of weldable steel wires 14 each having a smaller cross section. With such a design, when igniting at the front end of the burner tube 1 with the supply of oxygen, a jet flame, the intensity of which can optionally be adapted to the respective purpose by different and corresponding cross-sectional dimensions in the tube 1 and the electron and steel bodies. The steel wires 14 and the electronic wires 13 can be designed in a different manner and can also be arranged in the burner tube 1 in a different manner.
