Diese bekannten Querfaltvorrichtungen setzen voraus, daß die Wäschestücke bereits an der Mangeleinlaufseite so angelegt werden, daß sie nach erfolgtem Mangeln und Längsfalten mit ihrer Mitte genau über dem an sich ortsfesten und lediglich vertikal beweglichen Faltschwert zu liegen kommen. Diese Notwendigkeit verursacht erhebliche Schwierigkeiten und umständliche Arbeitsweise, weil es bei der Mangelarbeit bequemer ist, die Wäschestücke ohne Rücksicht auf die richtige Mittellage anzulegen, zumal bei gemischtem Betrieb Wäschestücke verschiedener Größe angelegt werden müssen.
