Description
Compliant Vibration Damping Bearing The invention relates to on a flexible bearing with vibration damping by friction for the bearing the shafts of test objects rotating at high speeds in centrifugal stands, the bearing bushing on a transverse axial friction surface with the aid of a flange the bearing support body is supported.
In the case of flexible track bearings with friction damping, a distinction can essentially be made between two systems: 1. Hydraulic dampers that work with the displacement of a liquid, whereby vibration energy is mainly consumed by the internal friction of the liquid.
Hierbei wird also Schwingungsenergie in mechanische Reibung umgesetzt.2. Mechanical dampers, which are those with a transverse axial flange provided bearing bush is tensioned against a friction surface by axial spring pressure. Here, vibration energy is converted into mechanical friction.
As a result of the temperature dependence of the viscosity of the displacement fluid Hydraulic dampers are not suitable for bearings that are exposed to temperature changes are, as is the case with the bearings for test items in the recipients of centrifugal machines is the case as a result of creating a vacuum. Also occur at hydraulic Curb fluid loss. They therefore require greater maintenance.
The mechanical dampers, in which the friction is caused by spring pressure is generated, in turn, have the disadvantage of a relatively large installation space to need. In addition, the spring itself can be excited to vibrate and thereby cause malfunctions especially in test stands.
When damping torsional vibrations, it is known to generate the normal force of friction by magnetic excitation. In a known damper of this type, this is done with electromagnetically excited coils which are accommodated in disc-shaped parts of the damper, the friction being generated by axially pressing several friction rings onto one another, as in a multi-plate clutch. However, this is - as I said - pure torsional vibrations and not about vibrations in achsnorinalen directions as waves of specimens in spin test stands. With these devices, it is not uncommon for the bearing or the parts used to support it to be hit and damaged by fragments of the test object flying around. When using electromagnets, there would therefore be a risk of damage to the coils or the supply and discharge lines, with the possible consequences therefrom.
The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a practically temperature-independent working, space-saving damping device that is as maintenance-free and trouble-free as possible for the storage of the shafts of test objects rotating at high speeds in centrifugal stands to create which is not damaged by flying fragments of the test object can be.
According to the invention to generate the normal force of the friction in Support flange and / or pennanentmagnetic body built into the bearing support body.
The permanent magnetic bodies are particularly advantageous Ceramic magnets that are in the support flange of the bearing and / or in the bearing support body the circumference can be arranged evenly distributed. To regulate the frictional force and thus the damping factor can be the size, the distance or the number of the magnet bodies be changed. Advantages of the ceramic magnets result in particular from the fact that their magnetic properties hardly change by impact and shock and that they do not require additional fasteners in the smallest installation space.
The drawing belonging to the exemplary embodiment described below shows a thrust bearing in axial section.
The bearing bush 1 , which is provided with a recess acting as a stop, is provided on the outside with a spherical surface and is gripped by the support flange 2 and the ring 3 , which is connected to the support flange 2 by screwing or the like. The support flange 2 rests on the upper, transverse axial surface 4 of the bearing support body 5 , which is provided in the center with a recess 6 into which the bearing bush 1 and the ring 3 are immersed with sufficient lateral play x. In this arrangement, the bearing bush 1 allows both transverse axial movements and pivoting of a shaft mounted in it.
Small ceramic magnets 7 , enclosed by a sleeve made of antimagnetic material, are embedded in the support flange 2 and, by virtue of their magnetic force of attraction, generate the normal force of the friction occurring in the support surface 4. The normal force of the friction is caused here by the effect of magnetic force. In order to tune this normal force and the friction and thus the damping factor on the respective oscillation state, the magnetic body can be removably secured in their bores 7, so that their number increased as required or can be decreased. The drawing as shown in the right half - - whereby a recirculation of the bearing bushing 1 in its initial position at the same time can be effected with a suitable arrangement in the bearing support body 5 further ceramic magnets are embedded 8 further can.
