Bei der Herstellung von Patronen auf photographischem Wege mittels des im Haupt-Patente beschriebenen Verfahrens haben sich folgende Uebelstände ergeben: 1. Man sieht auf der Mattscheibe nur einen Theil-der projicirten Patrone mit einer Bindung, und nicht die ganze Patrone mit allen Bindungen auf einmal. 2. Die Aufnahme kann nicht auf einmal gemacht werden., sondern es müssen mehrere Theilaufnahmen nach einander gemacht werden, d.h. es wird zuerst ein Theil, hierauf der zweite, sodann der dritte Theil der Vorlage u. s. w. aufgenommen, wobei die entsprechende Bindungsplatte jeweilig gewechselt werden mufs. 3. Das Wechseln dieser Bindungsplatten ist mit sehr grofsen Umständen verbanden ; auch ist das Arbeiten mit diesen Bindungsplatten infolge ihrer Gröfse (gewöhnlich 110 χ 110 cm) und Schwere sehr schwierig und zeitraubend. Wenn man nun auf das die Blume (Fig. 3) enthaltende Negativ eine Platte, deren Punkte dem Atlas entsprechen, auflegt, sodann vor dem zweiten Bilde mit Blättern (Fig. 4) eine Platte für Taffetbindung und vor dem dritten Bilde mit Stielen (Fig. 5) eine Platte für Köperbindung setzt, so erscheinen alle drei Theile des Bildes mit diesen drei Bindungen auf der Mattscheibe hinter der Lochplatte, also das vollständige Bild der Vorlage mit allen gewünschten Bindungen auf einmal. Selbstverständlich müssen alle diese kleinen Bindungsplatten sehr genau eingestellt werden. Da man jedoch sämmtliche Bindungen auf der Mattscheibe gleichzeitig sehen kann, so ist immer die Möglichkeit vorhanden, die Fehler, welche durch schlechtes Befestigen dieser Platten entstehen, zu verbessern.
