Description
The invention relates to a device for eliminating the line structure in television pictures. For this purpose, it is known to use transparent grooved disks between the viewer and the luminous layer to arrange that scatter the pixels perpendicular to the image lines.
The quality of the groove profile of such disks naturally has to meet high requirements are difficult to meet given the small size of the grooves, since the specified groove shape is precisely maintained must be and the groove surfaces must be very smooth if the desired dispersion without Light loss is to be achieved. The known disks also have the disadvantage that the grooves Are exposed to damage and soiling. To counter these disadvantages, one can the pulleys in a manner known per se for the projection of color images two oppositely identical groove profiles and with their grooves on the contact surface Assemble interlocking pulleys with different refractive indices.
In the known double films, the support of the photosensitive layer is microscopic Refractive elements covered, which serve as converging lenses and a special one to bring about a sharp image when projecting. The need to adjust the distance between the optical Keeping the elements and the active film layer as small as possible resulted in the Optical elements provided film to deposit another thicker layer, which is the mechanical Absorbs stresses and is stronger than the first-mentioned layer.
These considerations play a role in those used to eliminate the line structure in television pictures Grooved pulleys do not matter. Rather, they have completely different physical relationships which are explained below:
On the basis of a dispersion width Z of the grooved disk at a distance α from the luminous layer of the picture tube, with a refractive index K 1 for the material of one disk and a refractive index n 2 for the material of the other disk, with a groove spacing λ and a radius of curvature r of these grooves the following results Relationship in which for (H 1 -Ii 2 ) the absolute amount (regardless of the sign) applies:

In the previously known grooved pulleys made of plastics, the light refraction of this material is effective against air. This results in a relatively high value for Δη , since the refractive indices of the transparent plastics, which vary within narrow limits, are consistently 1.5 to 1.6. Compared to the refractive index 1 of air, the difference in the refractive indices on the groove profile A is η -0.5 to 0.6. As a result of the narrow range of the value of An caused by the aforementioned narrow limits of the refractive indices of the plastics, the groove spacing λ and the radius of curvature r cannot be selected so that the grooved disks can be easily manufactured in order to achieve a desired range of dispersion. For this purpose, a significantly smaller differential value of the refractive indices is desirable. To achieve this, the two grooved disks, which have the same groove profile and interlocking with their grooves on the contact surface, have different refractive indices, the difference of which U 1 -H 2 is calculated according to the invention according to the following mathematical relationship:
«ι — «2 = 2 · ■«Ι -« 2 = 2 · ■

One uses how. already explained, two grooved disks with different refractive indices, then the light refraction no longer takes place as before from a grooved disk to the medium air, but to the counter profile of the second disk, the material of which has a refractive index that deviates as little as possible from the refractive index of the first disk. It is advisable to use materials for the two joined panes whose refractive indices differ only by values from 0.1 down to 0.001, so that the difference value Δη is reduced to a sixth to about a six hundredth.
Gemäß der Formel (1) kann ohne Änderung derAccording to the formula (1), without changing the

Erfindungsgemäß wird das Verhältnis γ zu 0,7 bis 2 gewählt, da sich hierbei gut brauchbare Profile ergeben.be chosen, d. that is, for the same range of dispersion as with a direct transition to the medium Air, both the groove spacing and the radius of curvature can be increased. Such Groove profiles, however, can be produced much more easily. According to the invention, the ratio γ becomes 0.7 to 2 was chosen, as this results in useful profiles.
Hierfür ist gemäß der Formel (2) ein Differenzwert der BrechungsindizesFor assembled grooved disks to be arranged in front of the luminous surface of the picture tube, a groove spacing λ = 0.2mm and a radius of curvature r = 0 are expediently selected with a dispersion width Z = 0.75 mm and a profile distance a = 7.5 mm of the groove profile from the luminous layer, 2mm. For this purpose, according to the formula (2), there is a difference value of the refractive indices
Fig. 4 die gleichen Rillenscheiben zusammengefügt. In the known pulley according to FIG. 1 takes place the refraction of light from a pulley 1 with the profile 2 to the medium air 3. In the double pane according to the invention according to FIG. 2, a Disc 4 with a groove profile 5 used. Here the refraction of light takes place instead of to the medium air a disc 6 with a disc 4 different
An diesem tritt daher eine dem Differenzbetrag der Brechungsindizes der Werkstoffe der Scheiben 4 und 6 entsprechende Zerstreuung auf.ίο refractive index and one with the groove profile of the Disc 4 exactly matching and engaging in this groove profile 5. This occurs therefore a dispersion corresponding to the difference in the refractive indices of the materials of the disks 4 and 6 on.
Fig. 3 und 4). When the grooved disks according to the invention are used for television glasses, the groove profile is symmetrical to the center line of the contact surface of the two disks with different refractive indices (cf. FIGS. 3 and 4). The two disks 7 and 8 have congruent groove profiles 9 which run symmetrically to the center line 10 of the contact surface of the two disks 7 and 8. This ensures that the human eye adjusts itself to the best possible horizontal sharpness and that, as a result, the vertical light scattering on the profile 9, which eliminates the line structure, is fully effective. It is particularly important for the television glasses designed according to the invention that the outer surfaces of the assembled pulleys are completely smooth. Above all, they make it possible to reduce the viewing distance to only IV2 m (= 1500 mm) without changing the television set, without the line structure still being recognizable.
In addition, the viewer sitting at a smaller distance from the screen has the impression of being one receives a much larger television picture.

Dann ergibt sich bei der gleichen Zerstreuungsweite I = 0,75 mm wie zuvor, einem Abstand der betrachtenden Person a = 1500 mm vom Leuchtschirm der Bildröhre undThe assembled grooved disks dimensioned according to the invention can also be used as spectacle lenses in television glasses. This difference in the refractive indices of two grooved disks joined together is also without further achievable because the values for the refractive indices of plastics are accurate to ten thousandths are.
