Da das Abziehen von der Rolle sehr leicht geht, kann das Band nicht reißen, und die Scheiben benötigen auch keinen besonderen Antrieb, da sie durch Reibung am Boden angetrieben werden, und der Anfangsteil des Bandes braucht auch nicht im Boden verankert zu werden, weil die Pflanzscheiben das Band kraftschlüssig von der Rolle bis in den Boden führen.
