Abstract

The backrest (14) and the seat part (12) of the vehicle seat (10) are joined at the back facilitating the backrest (14) to be folded towards the front around a transversal axle (22). In a second step the combined parts (12, 14) are rotated around a transversal axle (24) attached between the lateral parts of the seat frame into a vertical position. In a third step the backrest (14) is pulled to the front, resting on its front surface and forming a flat area in combination with the folded seat part (12).
