Abstract
Description
The The invention relates to a covering according to the preamble of the claim 1.
Out Practice is known, especially in the form of outdoor floor coverings of individual slabs to be laid on a bed of gravel or mortar rest. Joints are provided between the end faces of these panels, in which a filler is introduced. These joints allow small dimensional tolerances of the plates and expansion due to temperature fluctuations. As filling materials are especially grout known from plastic, sand and cement or synthetic resin. These well-known joint fillers have to after laying the boards, inserted into the joints separately become, which represents a considerable amount of work and time. Moreover have these joint fillers the disadvantage that this become increasingly brittle due to the effects of light and temperature, so that in the Joints create adverse cracks. It is also known to have joints fill in loose grit or sand. This has the disadvantage that the filling material gets lost over time. Moreover grass or moss can easily grow through the joints.
The The invention has for its object a covering of the aforementioned Type that is easy to lay and the joints are permanent and visually appealing.
This The object is achieved with the Features of claim 1 solved.
The Covering according to claim 1 consists of individual plates made of mineral material, in particular Stone, artificial stone, concrete, cast stone or ceramic. This topping can be used both as a floor covering and as a wall covering. Around the slabs are easy to lay in their gravel or mortar bed Joints are provided between the end faces of the panels. These joints allow easy compensation of different plate dimensions as well as compensation for thermal expansion of the plates in the event of temperature fluctuations. To prevent that in the joints can collect dirt that is difficult to remove a filler is introduced into these joints. This is to ensure that the panels can be easily installed filler from a strip that is fixed to the front of the plate. This Ledge forms a spacer when laying the plate, so that without further measures a constant joint width is achieved. In addition, they are on the end faces the slats fixed to the slab are laid together with the slabs, so that a subsequent To complete the joints are eliminated. Rather, the panels are laid at the same time as the strips. It does not matter whether the strips are already from the manufacturer or only be fixed to the plate at the construction site. Around To ensure that the panels can be laid easily is to the strip neighboring plate at least perpendicular to the plane of the plate Slidable relative to the bar. With this, each plate can be easily into the gravel or mortar bed depressed and knocked on. additionally it is advantageous if the adjacent plate along the The bar on the front side can be moved to make it simple To ensure alignment of the plates to each other. The laid panels can removed after use together with the lasts from the bed and again be used. Preferably the plates are tapped into the bed, hence their visible surfaces are aligned with each other.
Auf diese Weise ist eine über den gesamten Belag konstante Höhe der Leiste im Verhältnis zur Plattenoberfläche gewährleistet.to easy fixing of the bar on the face of the panel yourself according to claim 2 tongue and groove profiling proven. For example, a spring is formed on the plate, which in a Engages groove of the bar. Fixing the bar on the plate is preferably done via elastic deformation of the bar. The tongue and groove are trained such that the surface the bar either flush with the plate surface completes or slight deeper than the plate surface comes to rest. In this way, it is constant over the entire surface height of Groin in proportion to the plate surface guaranteed.
Da die Nut relativ schmal ausgebildet sein kann, muß auf diese Weise aus der harten Platte nur verhältnismäßig wenig Material abgearbeitet werden, was sich vorteilhaft auf die Bearbeitungszeit und den Verschleiß der Bearbeitungswerkzeuge auswirkt.better it is, however, if the tongue and groove profiling according to claim 3 of a groove formed in the face of the plate and one molded spring is formed on the bar. Because the groove is relative can be narrow, must in this way from the hard Plate relatively little Material can be processed, which is beneficial to the processing time and the wear of the Editing tools affects.
Around to prevent yourself water accumulates between the bar and the plate, it is according to claim 4 advantageous if the tongue and groove profiling of transverse grooves or breakthroughs. Ingress of water can occur drain this way into the bed underneath, so that there is no risk of freezing. The bar extends with one leg up to the spring, this leg preferably has in the area of each transverse groove or Breakthrough a groove that ensures unimpeded water drainage.
Alternatively or additionally, it is favorable according to claim 5 if the bar is fixed to the plate is glued. If the adhesive connection is used in addition to tongue and groove profiling, it only has to hold until the panels are laid so that a large number of adhesives can be used. On the other hand, if the bar is to be fixed exclusively by the adhesive connection on the front side of the plate, it should be permanent to prevent the bar from sinking later into the joint.
Around both longitudinal as well as to fill transverse joints through the bar, it is according to claim 6 cheap, if the panel has strips on at least two faces is. In the case of square panels, the strips could basically be against each other opposite End faces of the plate may be attached, with adjacent plates in this case by 90 ° to each other have to be twisted. In the case of rectangular plates, end faces are preferably abutting the slats on the plate. In this way it is achieved that only a single type of plate must be used to create the covering.
In order to the bar expansions of the plate due to temperature fluctuations can compensate, it is according to claim 7 advantageous if the bar is at least partially made of an elastic deformable material. In particular, the Molding made of rubber, latex or a polymer, preferably a polymer foam, to create. Because the length changes of the plates to be compensated are relative are low, it is usually sufficient, the strips only partially to create from the elastically deformable material. The vast majority Part of the bar could in principle also be made of a hard material, which in turn is cheap affects the abrasion properties of the top of the last.
It is a particularly advantageous optical effect according to claim 8 cheap if the bar at least partially from its visible top Metal. The shiny metal surface of the Bar results in a particularly favorable one Contrast to the stone surface the plate. Moreover it results in a particularly high abrasion resistance of the last surface.
Zur Vermeidung von bruchempfindlichen Kanten der Platte wird jedoch eine rechtwinkelige Ausrichtung der abgewandten Seite der Leiste zur Plattenebenenerstreckung bevorzugt.to Achieving easy laying of the panels to form the desired It is according to claim 9 cheap, if the bar is flat on the side facing away from the plate. Preferably, the end face resting on the bar is the adjacent one Plate also flat, so that a simple tapping the plate in bed possible is. in principle could that Strip or plate at an acute angle to the plane of the plate be aligned. To avoid break-sensitive edges However, the plate will have a perpendicular orientation facing away Side of the bar preferred for extending the plane of the board.
Around to prevent the Bar during the Tapping the plate upwards through the bed, is the bar according to claim 10 versus shortened the underside of the plate educated. This allows the bedding material to be tapped into the bed partially penetrate into the joint without damaging the strip or push out. This facilitates the exact, aligned alignment of the plate surfaces to one another.
The Subject of the invention is explained by way of example with reference to the drawing, without limit the scope of protection.
