Description
The invention is in the field of cosmetic preparations and relates to its use of chitosans and / or chitosan derivatives in deodorant preparations.
Stand der TechnikState of the art
In the field of personal care, deodorants are used to remove unpleasant body odors used. Typical examples of such substances are aluminum compounds such as aluminum sulfate or aluminum chlorohydrate, zinc salts and citric acid compounds. Because the problem of Odor inhibition is not completely resolved, there is still a need for new ones Preparations that contain skin-friendly deodorants with a long-lasting effect. From the patent DE-195 40 296 C2 it is known that chitosans have activity inhibit esterase producing bacteria and together with esterase inhibitors and Aluminum chlorohydrates have a synergistic deodorant effect. The chitosans have a bacteriostatic effect, d. H. the population of the germs affected is controlled, however not killed so as not to affect the biological balance of the skin flora. The Effect and duration of action of the chitosans or chitosan derivatives always depends on the The speed at which the connections are built in or absorbed. Here there is still a considerable amount for the available substances of the prior art Potential for improvement.
The general use of water-soluble chitosan salts in deodorants and antibacterial Cosmetics have already been described in Japanese patent application JP 63290808. It exists however, the antibacterial mode of action of chitosans needs special Formulation approaches continue to improve.
In wasserfreien Zusammensetzungen bzw. Chitosan is water-soluble as a cationic polymer at a pH of less than 6 and thus accessible for aqueous cosmetic formulations. In anhydrous compositions or Low water compositions could chitosan and its derivatives because of the lack of oil solubility have not been used so far.
The object of the present invention was therefore the formulation of chitosan or to enable chitosan derivatives in oil-based formulations, and at the same time a to obtain long-lasting deodorizing effectiveness. In addition, a simple familiarization of the biopolymers in the formulation. A final wording should continue with pleasant skin feel, good skin tolerance and high stability result.
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind desodorierende Zubereitungen, die
- a) Chitosane und/oder Chitosanderivate,
- b) W/O-Emulgatoren vom Polyglyceryl-Typ und
- c) Ölkörper und/oder Wachse
- a) chitosans and / or chitosan derivatives,
- b) W / O emulsifiers of the polyglyceryl type and
- c) Oil bodies and / or waxes
Surprisingly, it has been found that emulsifiers of the polyglyceryl type are able to Stabilize chitosans in an oil matrix in such a way that the incorporation of chitosans in Preparations with a water content of 0.1 to 20% by weight, preferably 0.1 to 5% by weight, are made possible becomes. The preparations according to the invention show no "exudation" of these amounts of water or chitosan. Furthermore, the preparations remain homogeneous in their composition. There is no segregation. Such preparations are used for the purposes of the invention for deodorization of the skin.

Chitosans are biopolymers and belong to the group of hydrocolloids. From a chemical point of view, these are partially deacetylated chitins of different molecular weights that contain the following - idealized - monomer unit:
The chitosans are made from chitin, preferably from the shell remains Crustaceans, which are available in large quantities as cheap raw materials. The chitin will doing so in a process that was first developed by Hackmann et al. has been described, usually first deproteinized by adding bases, demineralized by adding mineral acids and finally deacetylated by adding strong bases, the molecular weights over one wide range can be distributed. Appropriate methods are, for example, from Makromol. Chem. 177, 3589 (1976) or French patent application FR 2701266 A1. Such types are preferably used as are described in German patent applications DE 44 42 987 A1 and DE 195 37 001 A1 (Henkel), and the an average Molecular weight from 800,000 to 1,200,000 daltons, a Brookfield viscosity (1% by weight in Glycolic acid, spindle 5, 10 rpm) below 5000 mPas, a degree of deacetylation in the range from 80 to 88% and an ash content of less than 0.3% by weight. In addition to the Chitosans as typical cationic biopolymers also come within the meaning of the invention Anionically, nonionically or cationically derivatized chitosans, such as. B. carboxylation, Succinylation, alkoxylation or quaternization products in question, as described for example in German patent DE 37 13 099 C2 and German patent application DE 196 04 180 A1 to be discribed.

Wachse kommen u. a. natürliche Wachse, wie z. B. Candelillawachs, Carnaubawachs, Japanwachs,
Espartograswachs, Korkwachs, Guarumawachs, Reiskeimölwachs, Zuckerrohrwachs,
Ouricurywachs, Montanwachs, Bienenwachs, Schellackwachs, Walrat, Lanolin (Wollwachs),
Bürzelfett, Ceresin, Ozokerit (Erdwachs), Petrolatum, Paraffinwachse, Mikrowachse; chemisch
modifizierte Wachse (Hartwachse), wie z. B. Montanesterwachse, Sasolwachse, hydrierte
Jojobawachse sowie synthetische Wachse, wie z. B. Polyalkylenwachse und
Polyethylenglycolwachse in Frage. Weiterhin kommen Guerbetalkohole mit 20 bis 54, vorzugsweise 30 bis 46
Kohlenstoffen in Frage.
Sphingolipide in Frage.
Typical examples of fats are glycerides, ie solid or liquid vegetable or animal products which essentially consist of mixed glycerol esters of higher fatty acids. Natural waxes, such as, for example, B. candelilla wax, carnauba wax, japan wax, esparto grass wax, cork wax, guaruma wax, rice germ oil wax, sugar cane wax, ouricury wax, montan wax, beeswax, shellac wax, walnut, lanolin (wool wax), pretzel fat, ceresin, ozokerite (earth wax), petrolatum, paraffin waxes chemically modified waxes (hard waxes), such as. B. Montanester waxes, Sasol waxes, hydrogenated jojoba waxes and synthetic waxes, such as. B. polyalkylene waxes and polyethylene glycol waxes in question. Guerbet alcohols with 20 to 54, preferably 30 to 46 carbons are also suitable. In addition to fats, fat-like substances such as lecithins and phospholipids can also be used as additives. The person skilled in the art understands the term lecithins as those glycerophospholipids which are formed from fatty acids, glycerol, phosphoric acid and choline by esterification. Lecithins are therefore often referred to in the specialist world as phosphatidylcholines (PC) and follow the general formula
where R typically stands for linear aliphatic hydrocarbon radicals with 15 to 17 carbon atoms and up to 4 cis double bonds. Examples of natural lecithins are the cephalins, which are also referred to as phosphatidic acids and are derivatives of 1,2-diacylglycerol-3-phosphoric acids.
