Description
The present invention relates to a ventilation device with the features of the preamble of
For thermal insulation, the device housing essentially consists of insulating material and, if necessary, an outer skin made of metal or plastic that encases the insulating material. In the prior art, expanded polystyrene (EPS) or expanded polypropylene (EPP), for example, is used as insulation material. The disadvantage here is that tools for processing the EPP are relatively complex to manufacture and the resulting high tool costs. The EPP material itself is also inherently expensive.
Based on this, the invention is based on the object of making a ventilation device of the type mentioned as simple and cost-effective as possible.
This task is solved by the ventilation device according to
Hierdurch kann der mehrmalige Ein-/ und Ausbau ohne Materialverschleiß gewährleistet werdenThe invention is based on the basic idea of designing the condensate tray as a dimensionally stable component. In this way, the condensate tray for the ventilation device housing has a stabilizing function. The condensate tray has the effect of a clamping wedge on both the remaining components of the device housing and/or the components of the ventilation device installed in the housing, for which purpose a slide is preferably clamped into the condensate tray, which fixes the fan in the end position. The condensate tray thus forms the backbone of the device housing, so to speak, ensuring mechanical stabilization by being designed as a dimensionally stable component. The condensate tray stabilizes in particular a slope made of EPS on which the fan is pushed up. This ensures repeated installation/removal without material wear
In an advantageous development of the invention, the condensate tray is designed as an injection molded part. By using an injection molded part, both the shape of the condensate tray and its surface structure can be optimally adapted to the use in the ventilation device.
The condensate tray designed in this way now allows the basic body of the ventilation device to be made from expanded polystyrene foam (EPS). Such EPS material is significantly cheaper in terms of both tool costs and material than the more expensive EPP material according to the state of the art.
In a further advantageous embodiment, guide elements are arranged in the condensate trough, which direct the condensate that initially precipitates on the inner walls of the device housing and then collects in the condensate trough to the drain connection. In this context, it is particularly advantageous to assemble the condensate pan from several segments. The segments are put together in such a way that each individual segment slopes down towards the drain port, so that the condensate that collects on the segments automatically flows down to the drain port.
In a further advantageous embodiment, a guide collar is formed on the condensate tray. The guide collar in turn has at least one guide bevel adapted to the outer contour of the fan housing accommodating the fan. In this way, the fan can be easily inserted into the pre-assembled device housing by simply pushing the fan housing along the guide bevel into the housing until the guide housing reaches its final assembly position, namely the operating position of the fan in the device housing. The dimensionally stable condensate tray is stable enough to guide the fan over the guide slope as often as required during assembly or disassembly. In this way, the fan housing can be installed in the device housing both quickly and easily. The surface quality of the condensate tray, which is preferably designed as an injection-molded part, is chosen so that the fan housing can be assembled or dismantled without abrasion on the guide slope and thus on the condensate tray. The ventilation device according to the invention is therefore exceptionally easy to service.
In an advantageous further development, the guide collar is laterally delimited by a guide runner. The guide runners form further guide surfaces for the fan housing Assembly and disassembly. Furthermore, the guide runners can be designed in such a way that the fan housing is clamped in the device housing by the guide runners in the operating position of the fan. To improve the fixation of the fan housing in the operating position of the fan, one or more locking elements can be adapted to the guide collar in a further expedient embodiment of the ventilation device. It is particularly useful to adapt one or more locking slides to the guide collar, which can be easily pulled when dismantling the fan housing and pushed back into their locking position when assembling the fan housing.
The clamping effect of the condensate pan, in particular the condensate pan with a guide collar, can be used in such a way that the guide bevel in the operating position of the fan, as well as the guide runners delimiting the guide collar on both sides, exert an additional contact pressure on the fan housing and that this additional contact pressure acts on a pressure port fixed to the fan housing . A seal is arranged between this pressure port and its adjacent component, into which the pressure port opens. This seal is compressed by the aforementioned additional pressure exerted on the fan housing, whereby the fan is additionally sealed from its adjacent component.
Finally, additional drainage channels, in particular bypass channels, are preferably provided in the ventilation device. In an advantageous embodiment, these drainage channels and/or bypass channels also open directly into the condensate tray, so that liquid or condensate conducted via the drainage channels, in particular bypass channels, can be collected in the condensate tray and discharged from the ventilation device via the drain connection in the condensate tray. Under normal conditions, no condensate will form in the bypass channel. If, for some inexplicable reason, a liquid still accumulates, it is also advantageously directed to the condensate tray.
