Description
The present invention relates to a motor vehicle body part according to

Displays bestimmt. The known luminous bodies, electroluminescent layers and the like. having devices or displays are always, i. both during their operation and outside their operation, visibly arranged on the body parts. Thus, the appearance of the body panel and a motor vehicle equipped therewith is determined by the appearance of said devices or displays.
Displays erhalten bleibt. It is an object of the present invention to provide technical means by which the external appearance of a luminous body or a display part having a body part is not dependent on the appearance of the display, wherein the function of the filament or display is maintained.
This object is achieved by a body part according to
A body part with an areally arranged display or luminous element which extends over at least a portion of the surface of the body part is characterized by an at least temporarily translucent lamination which extends at least partially over the section and is arranged to emit light emitted by the luminous body to let happen. The flat arranged luminous body is based in particular on an organic light emitting diode, an electronic paper or a thin-film transistor dispaly (TTF display), which are applied to a film or directly on the body. The lamination advantageously has two properties. On the one hand, it can be used as a design element whose outer appearance can be set up independently of the appearance of the luminescent body. On the other hand, it returns in appearance when light emitted by the luminous body passes through it. Thus, the luminous body is inconspicuously arranged in its non-operating state on the body part, which improves the overall aesthetics of a body part according to the invention and a vehicle equipped with the body part according to the invention or the body part not integrated erkannbar on the motor vehicle.
According to a preferred embodiment, the lamination is at least partially formed from a perforated film, which film can be produced easily in an advantageous manner in large quantities. In a particularly advantageous manner, the film is made of a surface-colored or solid-colored material whose color corresponds to the color of the body part. The appropriate size, number and type of perforations are basically freely selectable within a functional design.
According to a further preferred embodiment, the lamination of the luminous body is at least partially formed from an electrically switchable film. The switchable film is formed in a preferred manner as SPD (Suspended Particle Device) film, which advantageously allows a simple way to change the outer design of the body part. It should be noted that both the filament and the film are switchable. It is thus possible to switch on or off the luminous element and the film at the same time or alternately turn on or turn off the luminous element and the film, whereby a comparatively large number of switching options influencing the design of the body part exists in an advantageous manner.
According to an alternative embodiment, the lamination is at least partially formed of a semitransparent mirror whose reflective surface faces away from the luminous body. In a decommissioned Luminous body occurs the unconventional outer design of the invention disclosed here lamination particularly apparent. If, on the other hand, the luminous body is in operation, the light passes through the lamination and its design or optical design image returns behind that of the luminous body.
The object described above is also achieved by a motor vehicle with a body part of the previously disclosed type. The corresponding benefits apply adequately.
