Abstract
Known methods for the production of canyons on fiber composites for wet-running electric motors lead to poor dimensional stability and large tolerances of the crevices, creepage or large wall thicknesses of the crevices, lead to high manufacturing costs or cause the crevices not withstand the requirements of tightness and strength. The new method is intended to prevent these disadvantages.
By producing an inner layer by injection molding and subsequent application of a fiber-reinforced carrier layer with reaction resin in the direct process and curing of the carrier layer on the inner layer, the disadvantages described above will be avoided.
The method enables the production of very thin-walled, high-precision, dimensionally stable and very cost-effective split tubes made of fiber composite material.
Description
The invention relates to a can in wet-running electric motors.
The canned motor, also called wet rotor, is used, for example, as a wet rotor in pump units whose rotating parts, including the rotor or rotor of the driving electric motor, rotate in the liquid conveying medium. The prerequisite for this is a separating pipe in the gap between the rotor and the stator, referred to below as the can. Such drives do not require any shaft seal and are also referred to as shaftless drives. Wet runners or canned motors are produced, for example, according to the principle of the asynchronous motor, also shaded pole motor or the synchronous motor. These drives are used, for example, in pumps for building services engineering for drinking water and circulating pumps in heating systems, as a drain pump (washing machine, dishwasher), but also as delivery pumps. The big advantage of the missing seal or the hermetic separation to the pumped medium also leads to applications as a pump for chemicals and food.
Frequently, a metallic can in the canned motor seals the stator against the rotor surrounded by the pumped fluid. However, a disadvantage is the significantly lower efficiency compared with other pump systems. Due to the metallic can, the radial gap between the stator and rotor are increased and caused by the conductivity of the metallic material considerable induction losses. Due to their very good insulation effect combined with very high mechanical properties, split tubes made of fiber-reinforced plastic composite (FKV), also called composite, fiber reinforced plastic or fiber composite material, represent an excellent alternative to canned material and can significantly improve the efficiency compared to metallic crevices.
The can is a central component and must meet high requirements. In particular, the can is exposed to high pressures and temperatures at the same time, is subject to pressure and temperature fluctuations and at the same time must have a high resistance to media and, depending on the application, must also be approved for drinking water. Failures or leaks during operation can lead to consequences of incalculable extent.
Canned pipes made of plastics and fiber composites are known and are produced today for example by pressing prefabricated fiber composite sleeves on plastic sleeves. The disadvantage here is, inter alia, the high demands on the manufacturing tolerances of the outer diameter of the plastic sleeve and the inner diameter of the prefabricated sleeve made of fiber composite material. In addition, the manufacturing step of producing prefabricated sleeves with high material loss by assembling the sleeves and with considerable effort for joining the two components is connected.
Known methods for the production of canyons on fiber composites for wet-running electric motors lead to poor dimensional accuracy and large tolerances of the cans, to delay by releasing residual stresses to creep or excessive wall thickness of the cans, lead to high manufacturing costs or cause the cans to the requirements Impermeability and strength can not withstand.
The invention is therefore the object of further developing split tubes in wet-running electric motors in such a way that the disadvantages corresponding to the current state of the art are avoided. The object of the invention is to develop a can and a method for producing the can, which avoids eddy current losses in the canned motor and also very economic, easy to automate, distortion-free, particularly thin-walled and precise and reproducible in series manufacturable.
This object is achieved with the features of
The systematic investigation and evaluation of known types and methods for Production of split tubes made of fiber composite materials has shown that they do not meet the technical requirements, for example, on the strength or dimensional tolerances or lead to high production costs.
It is not obvious to the person skilled in the art that the individual production of split tubes made of fiber composite material by directly reinforcing a thermoplastic plastic sleeve as an inner layer with a continuous fiber-reinforced thermoset material as a carrier layer and by subsequent curing of the reaction resin on the thermoplastic resin sleeve is particularly advantageous over known methods for the production of cans ,
The split tube thus consists of a hybrid composite material, a combination of thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic in conjunction with fiber reinforcement.
A can produced in the manner described in detail above and in the following can surprisingly be produced with high precision and high repeat accuracy, with minimal material loss and very low total wall thickness, and also very economically and efficiently as well as highly automatable.
Subsequent deformation or creep of the can, in particular under high pressure and high temperature, is minimized, in particular by using the duromeric matrix in the carrier layer and the cohesive separation between carrier layer and inner layer.
By producing an inner layer by injection molding and subsequent application of a fiber-reinforced carrier layer with reaction resin in the direct process and curing of the carrier layer on the inner layer, the disadvantages described above will be avoided.
The inventive production of the can for a wet-running electric motor takes place in several, successive manufacturing steps. In a first step, an inner layer is produced by injection molding, also known as injection molding. In a subsequent step, reinforcing fiber for deposition is applied and in a subsequent step, a carrier layer is applied to the inner layer in the direct process, ie immediately, wet.
The direct application of the carrier layer is preferably carried out in the fiber winding process or in the tape laying process.
The filing of continuous textile reinforcing semi-finished products in the fiber winding process or in the tape laying process takes place at a predetermined speed and in a predefined pattern. The reinforcing semi-finished products, for example in the form of rovings, are impregnated with duromeric resin, so-called reaction resin, wet-impregnated.
The storage of thermosetting plastic is carried out according to the invention directly on the thermoplastic sleeve in liquid or not completely cured state, thus in a viscous form, together with the filing of the reinforcing fibers. Both low-viscosity, medium and high-viscosity thermosetting plastics are suitable.
The viscosity of the thermosetting reaction resin during deposition on the inner layer is between 0.5 and 10 15 mPa * s (millipascalesconds), preferably 1 to 10 3 mPa * s.
According to the invention, the storage of a thermosetting prepreg can also take place. Prepreg is the English short form for pre-impregnated fibers and describes a thermosetting reaction resin preimpregnated textile fiber-matrix semi-finished product.
After, as described in more detail above, applying the carrier layer of fiber-reinforced reaction resin on the thermoplastic inner layer, the reinforcing fiber is severed at the end of the tray and in a further process step, the curing of the carrier layer takes place on the inner layer. The curing is preferably carried out by infrared radiation or hot air.
The fact that the carrier layer is not materially bonded to the inner layer has proven to be particularly advantageous. The cohesive separation between contact surfaces of the carrier layer and the inner layer results in fewer stresses in the hybrid material composite between the inner layer and the carrier layer, whereby the distortion or subsequent deformation of the can is minimized.
In the application of the carrier layer in the fiber winding process or in the Tapelegeverfahren glass fibers, carbon fibers, ceramic fibers or basalt fibers are arranged at an angle of 45 ° to 89.9 ° to the longitudinal axis of the can crosswise on the inner layer.
The method described enables the production of very thin-walled, high-precision, dimensionally stable and very cost-effective split tubes made of fiber composite material.
The invention will be described below by way of example with reference to an embodiment With reference to the accompanying drawings described in more detail.
