Description
The invention relates to a method for processing at least one component region of a component of a turbomachine. The invention further relates to a masking element for partially covering a component of a turbomachine to be machined.
The object of the present invention is to specify a method in which at least two machining methods can be performed on at least one component region of a component with the aid of a single masking element without affecting component regions that are not to be machined. A further object of the invention is to specify a corresponding masking element which can be used without additional covering or retooling effort for machining at least one component area with at least two machining methods.
The objects are achieved by a method having the features of
A first aspect of the invention relates to a method for processing at least one component region of a component of a turbomachine. In this case, the method according to the invention comprises the steps of a) arranging a masking element made of a silicone-containing material on the component, wherein the masking element has a receiving space in which an area of the component to be covered during the machining is arranged, and wherein the receiving space is at least one with the component area to be machined b) processing the exposed part area with at least a first and a second machining method; and c) removing the masking element from the part. In other words, according to the invention, it is provided that, before the component is processed, the component region (s) not to be processed is covered by a masking element or by the masking element being arranged on the component in such a way that the relevant component regions are covered or masked. For this purpose, the masking element has a receiving space whose component-facing internal geometry corresponds to the outer geometry of the component region to be covered. Furthermore, the masking element has one or more openings which leave open the component area (s) to be processed, so that only the component areas to be processed are accessible for machining. Furthermore, a masking element is used, which consists of a silicone-containing material. As a result, in contrast to the prior art, it is not necessary to connect the masking element to the component in a materially bonded manner, since the silicone-containing material has a comparatively high coefficient of friction and a comparatively low coefficient of thermal expansion and therefore rests reliably on the component even at relatively high temperatures. In addition, residues of adhesives and the like are avoided on the component, which otherwise would have to be removed consuming and possibly even damage the component surface. Thus, after finishing no overcasting of the component is necessary. Furthermore, silicone-containing materials hold common machining methods, such as abrasive corundum, and did not affect the coating quality of already coated surfaces. Moreover, by performing at least two machining processes on the exposed component area, it is ensured that the machining area of the first machining method corresponds exactly to the machining area of the second and each further machining method. In addition, no additional masking or retooling arises between the adjoining processing methods. This results in a high level of cover accuracy while avoiding reworking by manual overcasting, etc., a low risk of damage or scrap, simple and time-saving workshop handling, high process stability and high flexibility at low costs Operating costs and reduced licensing costs.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the silicone-containing material is elastically deformable and / or that a silicone rubber, in particular a cold and / or hot crosslinked silicone rubber is used as the silicone-containing material. As a result, on the one hand, the damage-free placement and damage and residue-free removal of the masking element easier because the masking element is elastically deformable and can automatically adapt to the outer contour of the component, on the other hand holds the masking element thereby also abrasive abrasive media such as Al 2 O 3 reliable and durable, since the silicone-containing material can be elastically or plastically deformed. In particular, hot crosslinked silicone rubbers (HTV silicone) also have a high temperature resistance.
Further advantages result from the fact that the component is a blade provided with a shroud and / or that the component region to be machined is at least one sealing fin of a shroud of a blade. As a result, such components with complex shroud geometries, which must have particularly precisely machined surfaces in order to be able to form design-related and functional gaps (pretwist, mistuning) between adjoining blades with the required accuracy can be processed particularly quickly, easily and reliably.
It has proven to be advantageous if the masking element covers at least one bevelled fin side region of the shroud and / or a Z-Notch contour of the shroud. This reliably avoids that these areas responsible for the precise gap attitude to adjacent blades are affected by the processing methods and laboriously reworked and cleaned. Alternatively or additionally, it is provided that the at least one sealing finger is guided in step a) through the associated opening of the receiving space. This allows only the one or more sealing fins formed on the shroud of the blade to be exposed and processed, while adjacent and non-machinable component areas are covered and protected by the masking element.
Further advantages result from the fact that the masking element is fixed non-positively and / or positively on the component. As already mentioned, due to the silicone-containing material, in contrast to the prior art, it is not necessary to firmly bond the masking element in order to reliably hold it to the component. Instead, in many cases, a non-positive arrangement, for example by using a masking element, the receiving space with respect to the component to be covered has a certain undersize, sufficient for a secure grip on the component. Alternatively or additionally, a form-fitting arrangement can be provided, whereby a particularly reliable and mechanically loadable arrangement of the masking element is ensured on the component.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the first processing method comprises at least one surface treatment method from the group of thermal spraying, flame activation, plasma activation, mechanical pretreatment processes, in particular blasting, cleaning and construction of conversion and / or passivation layers. As a result, the surface of the machined component area can be optimally prepared for the following machining process.
Further advantages result in that the second processing method comprises at least one coating method from the group of thermal spraying, chemical vapor deposition, physical vapor deposition, sputtering and build-up welding. Depending on the machined component, this allows an optimal layer structure with low porosity, good connection to the pre-machined component area, freedom from cracks and homogeneous microstructures.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the masking element is destructively removed from the component and reused for further process cycles. As a result, particularly low operating costs and a correspondingly reduced concession costs for the preferably multiply reused masking element are realized, as a result of which the method according to the invention can be carried out in a particularly cost-effective manner.
A second aspect of the invention relates to a masking element for partially covering a component of a turbomachine to be machined, wherein the masking element consists of a silicon-containing material and has a receiving space in which an area of the component to be covered during machining can be arranged, and wherein the receiving space is at least one comprises an opening corresponding to a component region of the component to be processed, so that a component region of the component to be processed is exposed when the masking element is arranged on the component. The masking element according to the invention, which consists of the silicone-containing material, makes possible without additional covering or retooling the multiple machining of at least one component area with two or more machining methods, since the component area to be machined is exposed due to the opening, while the non-machinable component areas of the component can be arranged within the receiving space and reliably covered. Thus, the masking element according to the invention is particularly suitable for use in a method according to the first aspect of the invention. Further features and their advantages can be found in the descriptions of the first aspect of the invention, wherein advantageous embodiments of the first aspect of the invention are to be regarded as advantageous embodiments of the second aspect of the invention and vice versa. It may in principle be provided that the silicone-containing material consists exclusively of silicone, that is to say one or more poly (organo) siloxanes, or that the silicone-containing material contains, in addition to one or more poly (organo) siloxanes, further compounds.
In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the receiving space has an undersize in relation to the area of the component to be covered. This allows, in conjunction with the silicone-containing material of which the masking element consists, a particularly reliable arrangement of the masking element with a correspondingly reliable coverage of the non-machinable component areas and a reliable release of the component areas to be machined.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the masking element comprises as silicone-containing material a silicone rubber and / or a fluorosilicone. It can also be provided that the masking element consists entirely of a silicone rubber and / or a fluorosilicone. As a result, the masking element is not only elastically and plastically deformable, but also particularly resistant to temperature and oxidation and can be removed without damage and residue from the relevant component and optionally reused.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the masking element comprises at least one wall element in the region of at least one opening. This allows a targeted steering of blasting and / or coating media, whereby various processing parameters, for example, film outlet, layer thickness distribution, layer thickness, layer structure, layer quality, particle rebound and Schichtaufwürfe can be controlled.
Further possibilities for the targeted setting of different processing parameters result from the fact that the at least one wall element forms a tear-off edge and / or a bevel and / or a base.
In einer weiteren vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung der Erfindung ist es vorgesehen, dass im montierten Zustand des Maskierungselements eine Höhendifferenz zwischen einer Abrisskante und einer Bauteilspitze zwischen 0 mm und 20 mm, also beispielsweise 0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm oder 20 mm beträgt und/oder dass eine Sockelhöhe des Sockels zwischen 0 mm und 20 mm, also beispielsweise 0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm oder 20 mm beträgt und/oder dass ein Abstand zwischen einer Bauteilflanke und ihrer nächstliegenden Abrisskante zwischen 0 mm und 30 mm, also beispielsweise 0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm, 21 mm, 22 mm, 23 mm, 24 mm, 25 mm, 26 mm, 27 mm, 28 mm, 29 mm oder 30 mm beträgt. In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that in the assembled state of the masking element, a height difference between a trailing edge and a component tip between 0 mm and 20 mm, ie, for example, 0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm or 20 mm and / or that a base height of the base between 0 mm and 20 mm, so for example 0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm or 20 mm and / or that a distance between a component flank and its nearest spoiler edge between 0 mm and 30 mm, so for example 0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm, 9 mm, 10 mm, 11 mm, 12 mm, 13 mm, 14 mm, 15 mm, 16 mm, 17 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 20 mm, 21 mm, 22 mm, 23 mm, 24 mm, 25 mm, 26 mm, 27 mm, 28 mm, 29 mm or 30 mm.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that in the assembled state, an angle of a slope with respect to a vertical axis of the masking element is at most 5 ° smaller than a predetermined spray angle of a jet and / or coating medium. In other words, an angle of an inclined surface with respect to a vertical axis of the masking element is 0 °, 0.5 °, 1.0 °, 1.5 °, 2.0 °, 2.5 °, 3.0 °, 3, 5 °, 4.0 °, 4.5 ° or 5.0 ° smaller than the spray angle at which a jet and / or coating medium is directed or should be directed at the masked component.
