Description
The present invention relates to a laundry detergent or cleaner for textiles which comprises C 8-10 -alkylamidoalkylbetaine as anti-crease agent and a special additional surfactant combination and to the use of C 8-10 -alkylamidoalkylbetaine as anti-crease agent for textiles.
Ironing is a very annoying task, according to consumer surveys. So far, it has not yet been possible to develop a detergent that improves the surface smoothness of clothing after washing to the extent that the ironing is unnecessary.
While in the textile equipment Antiknitterverbindungen are known, the application in the detergent is very limited. In textile finishing, however, the equipment is mainly cellulose-containing textiles during the manufacture of textile materials. The textiles treated in this way have the advantage over the untreated cellulose textiles after the washing process that they have less wrinkles and wrinkles, are easier to iron and are softer and smoother.
Compounds that are used directly in a washing or cleaning agent and there cause a surface smoothness of the textiles in the washing process, are barely known. This is due to the fact that corresponding compounds are either not incorporated into detergents or cleaners, especially if they are liquid, since it leads to instabilities of detergents or cleaning agents, or their effect in the washing process itself is lost. The object of the present invention is now to improve this secondary property in the washing process. Surprisingly, it has been found that the use of certain Alkylamidoalkylbetaine results in a metrologically significant improvement of the surface smoothness of textiles.
In addition, it has been found that the use of certain alkylamidoalkylbetaines improves the cleaning performance of such spots (enzyme-selective spots) whose removal is improved by the use of enzymes (in particular of protease).
However, it is not apparent from the prior art that the surface smoothness of the textile during the washing process, as well as the cleaning performance of enzyme-selective stains, can be improved by using C 8-10 -alkylamidoalkylbetaine.

It is inventively preferred, based on the total weight of the agent, the C 8-10 -Alkylamido- (C 2-6 ) alkylbetaines of the formula (I) in a total amount of 0.011 wt .-% to 35 wt .-%, in particular from 0.011% to 10% by weight.
All amounts stated in connection with the detergents or cleaners described herein are, unless stated otherwise, by weight in each case based on the total weight of the washing or cleaning agent. Furthermore, such amounts referring to at least one constituent always refer to the total amount of that type of constituent contained in the composition, unless explicitly stated otherwise. That is, such amounts, for example in connection with "at least one anionic surfactant", refer to the total amount of anionic surfactants contained in the middle.
Preferred washing or cleaning agents thereof, containing as betaine of the formula (I) those which are selected from at least one compound of the formula (Ia) wherein R 1 is a, preferably linear, alkyl radical having 7, 8 or 9 carbon atoms.
It is particularly preferred according to the invention, if based on the total weight of the agent, the betaines of the formula (Ia) in a total amount of 0.011 wt .-% to 35 wt .-%, in particular from 0.011 wt .-% to 10 wt .-%, are included.
The said alkylamidopropylbetaines of the formula (I) or (Ia) are preferably selected from linear C 8 or C 10 -alkylamidopropylbetaine, ie caprylamidopropylbetaine (N- (3-octanoyl) aminopropyl) -N-carboxymethyl-N, N-dimethyl-1 propanaminium) or capramidopropylbetaine (N- (3-decanoyl) aminopropyl) -N-carboxymethyl-N, N-dimethyl-1-propanaminium), or, most preferably, mixtures of linear C8 and C10 alkylamidopropyl betaines. The information given in connection with the washing or cleaning agents according to the invention also apply to the processes and uses according to the invention.

If the preferred choice of betaines of the formula (Ia) is a selection criterion, it is again very particularly preferred that if betaine of the formula (II-a) is present, in which
R 1 is a, preferably linear, alkyl radical having 10 to 30 carbon atoms,
R 2 and R 3 are identical or different alkyl radicals having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, preferably methyl,
the weight ratio of betaine of the formula (Ia) to be contained betaine of the formula (II-a) is greater than 1, preferably greater than 2, more preferably greater than 4, even more preferably greater than 10, most preferably greater than 20.
Formeln (I), (I-a), (II), (II-a)) dargestellt wird. When referring to C 8 -C 18 or, for example, C 8 / C 10 alkylamidopropyl betaines in the context of the present invention, the number of carbon atoms not only refers to the carbon atoms of the alkyl chain but also includes the carbonyl carbon atom of the amide group , The situation is different when a concrete structural formula (see formulas (I), (Ia), (II), (II-a)) is shown. There, the radical R 1 relates exclusively to the carbon atoms of the alkyl chain.

For the purposes of the present invention, the term "anionic surfactants" is understood to mean no soaps. Although detergents or cleaners according to the invention may comprise soaps, they are not attributed to the anionic surfactants for the purposes of the present invention.
Accordingly, soaps come as additional ingredients of detergents or cleaning agents into consideration. Suitable are saturated fatty acid soaps, such as the salts of lauric acid, myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, hydrogenated erucic acid and behenic acid and, in particular, soap mixtures derived from natural fatty acids, for example coconut, palm kernel or tallow fatty acids.
The anionic surfactants as well as soaps may be present in the form of their sodium, potassium or ammonium salts and as soluble salts of organic bases, such as mono-, di- or triethanolamine. Preferably, the anionic surfactants and soaps are in the form of their sodium, potassium or magnesium salts, especially in the form of the sodium salts.
Anionic surfactants, i. in particular alkylbenzenesulfonates and alkyl ether sulfates, are preferably present in the washing or cleaning agent to a certain proportion by weight, namely with 3 to 25 wt .-% based on the total weight of the detergent or cleaning agent formulation. Preference is given to amounts of from 5 to 20% by weight of anionic surfactants, based on the total weight of the detergent formulation. Regardless of whether the detergent contains one or more of the anionic surfactants, the amounts given refer to the total amount of all anionic surfactants contained in the detergent. In certain embodiments, the detergents or cleaning agents further comprise soaps, preferably 0.1 to 5% by weight soaps. Preferably, the washing or cleaning agents have no soaps.
The washing or cleaning agents according to the invention preferably contain as additional surfactant, at least one nonionic surfactant. With very particular preference the detergents or cleaners according to the invention comprise as additional surfactant at least one anionic surfactant and at least one nonionic surfactant.
The nonionic surfactants used are preferably alkoxylated, advantageously ethoxylated, in particular primary, alcohols having preferably 8 to 18 carbon atoms and on average 1 to 12 moles of ethylene oxide (EO) per mole of alcohol, in which the alcohol radical can be linear or preferably methyl-branched in the 2-position or linear and methyl-branched radicals in the mixture can contain, as they are usually present in Oxoalkoholresten. In particular, however, alcohol ethoxylates with linear radicals of alcohols of natural origin having 12 to 18 carbon atoms, for example of coconut, palm, tallow or oleyl alcohol, and on average 2 to 8 EO per mole of alcohol are preferred. The preferred ethoxylated alcohols include, for example, C 12-14 alcohols with 3 EO or 4 EO, C 9-11 alcohols with 7 EO, C 13-15 alcohols with 3 EO, 5 EO, 7 EO or 8 EO, C 12-18 alcohols with 3 EO, 5 EO or 7 EO and mixtures of these, such as mixtures of C 12-14 -alcohol with 3 EO and C 12-18 -alcohol with 5 EO. The degrees of ethoxylation given represent statistical means which, for a particular product, may be an integer or a fractional number. Preferred alcohol ethoxylates have a narrow homolog distribution (narrow range ethoxylates, NRE). In addition to these nonionic surfactants, fatty alcohols with more than 12 EO can also be used. Examples include tallow fatty alcohol with 14 EO, 25 EO, 30 EO or 40 EO.
Another class of preferred nonionic surfactants used either as the sole nonionic surfactant or in combination with other nonionic surfactants are alkoxylated, preferably ethoxylated or ethoxylated and propoxylated fatty acid alkyl esters, preferably having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the alkyl chain, especially fatty acid methyl esters.
Another class of nonionic surfactants that can be used to advantage are the alkyl polyglycosides (APG). Usable alkylpolyglycosides satisfy the general formula RO (G) z , in which R is a linear or branched, in particular in the 2-position methyl-branched, saturated or unsaturated, aliphatic radical having 8 to 22, preferably 12 to 18 carbon atoms and G is the Is a symbol which represents a glycose unit having 5 or 6 C atoms, preferably glucose. The degree of glycosidation z is between 1.0 and 4.0, preferably between 1.0 and 2.0 and in particular between 1.1 and 1.4. Preference is given to using linear alkyl polyglycosides, ie alkyl polyglycosides, in which the polyglycosyl radical is a glucose radical and the alkyl radical is an n-alkyl radical.
Nonionic surfactants of the amine oxide type, for example N-cocoalkyl-N, N-dimethylamine oxide and N-tallowalkyl-N, N-dihydroxyethylamine oxide, and the fatty acid alkanolamides may also be suitable. The amount of these nonionic surfactants is preferably not more than that of the ethoxylated fatty alcohols, especially not more than half thereof.

In addition to the described surfactants and the Alkylamidopropylbetainen of formula (I) or (Ia), the detergents or cleaning agents may of course contain conventional ingredients of such agents. Here are primarily Builders as well as bleaches, enzymes and other active substances to name. In general, the washing or cleaning agent may contain other ingredients that further improve the performance and / or aesthetic properties of the detergent. In the context of the present invention, the washing or cleaning agent preferably additionally contains one or more substances from the group of enzymes, bleaches, bleach activators, complexing agents, builders, electrolytes, nonaqueous solvents, pH adjusters, perfumes, perfume carriers, fluorescers, optical brighteners, dyes , Speckles, hydrotropes, silicone oils, anti redeposition agents, graying inhibitors, anti-shrinkage agents, crease inhibitors, color transfer inhibitors, antimicrobial agents, germicides, fungicides, antioxidants, preservatives, corrosion inhibitors, antistatic agents, bittering agents, ironing aids, repellents and impregnating agents, swelling and anti-slip agents, plasticizing components and UV -Absorber.
In the event that the detergents or cleaners of the invention do not comprise soap as defined herein, the compositions may still have speckles having soap components. In this case, the composition has soaps only in the speckles.
Another important group of detergent or cleaning ingredients are the builders. Under this substance class, both organic and inorganic builders are understood. These are compounds which can both perform a carrier function in the compositions according to the invention and also act as a water-softening substance when used.
Useful organic builder substances are, for example, the polycarboxylic acids which can be used in the form of their sodium salts, polycarboxylic acids meaning those carboxylic acids which carry more than one acid function. These are, for example, citric acid, adipic acid, succinic acid, glutaric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, sugar acids, aminocarboxylic acids, nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA), if such use is not objectionable for ecological reasons, and mixtures of these. Preferred salts are the salts of polycarboxylic acids such as citric acid, adipic acid, succinic acid, glutaric acid, tartaric acid, sugar acids and mixtures thereof. The acids themselves can also be used. In addition to their builder action, the acids typically also have the property of an acidifying component and thus, for example in the granules according to the invention, also serve to establish a lower and milder pH of detergents or cleaners. In particular, citric acid, succinic acid, glutaric acid, adipic acid, gluconic acid and any desired mixtures of these can be mentioned here.
Further suitable builders are polymeric polycarboxylates, for example the alkali metal salts of polyacrylic acid or polymethacrylic acid, for example those having a relative molecular mass of from 500 to 70,000 g / mol. This class of substances has already been described in detail above. The (co) polymeric polycarboxylates can be used either as a powder or as an aqueous solution. The content of (co) polymeric polycarboxylates in the compositions is preferably 0.5 to 20% by weight, in particular 3 to 10% by weight.
Another class of substances with cobuilder properties are the phosphonates. These are, in particular, hydroxyalkane or aminoalkanephosphonates. Among the hydroxyalkane phosphonates, 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonate (HEDP) is of particular importance as a co-builder. It is preferably used as the sodium salt, the disodium salt neutral and the tetrasodium salt alkaline (pH 9). Preferred aminoalkanephosphonates are ethylenediamine tetramethylenephosphonate (EDTMP), diethylenetriaminepentamethylenephosphonate (DTPMP) and their higher homologs. They are preferably in the form of the neutral reacting sodium salts, e.g. as the hexasodium salt of EDTMP or as the hepta- and octa-sodium salt of DTPMP. The builder used here is preferably HEDP from the class of phosphonates. The aminoalkanephosphonates also have a pronounced heavy metal binding capacity. Accordingly, in particular if the agents also contain bleach, it may be preferable to use aminoalkanephosphonates, in particular DTPMP, or to use mixtures of the phosphonates mentioned.
In addition, all compounds capable of forming complexes with alkaline earth ions can be used as co-builders.
A preferred inorganic builder is fine crystalline, synthetic and bound water-containing zeolite. The finely crystalline, synthetic and bound water-containing zeolite used is preferably zeolite A and / or P. However, zeolite X and mixtures of A, X and / or P, for example a cocrystal of zeolites A and X, are also suitable. The zeolite can be used as a spray-dried powder or as undried, still moist from their production, stabilized suspension used. In the event that the zeolite is used as a suspension, it may contain minor additions of nonionic surfactants as stabilizers, for example 1 to 3 wt .-%, based on zeolite, of ethoxylated C 12 -C 18 fatty alcohols having 2 to 5 ethylene oxide groups , C 12 -C 14 fatty alcohols having 4 to 5 ethylene oxide groups or ethoxylated isotridecanols. Suitable zeolites have an average particle size of less than 10 μm (volume distribution, measuring method: Coulter Counter) and preferably contain 18 to 22% by weight, in particular 20 to 22% by weight, of bound water. In preferred embodiments For example, zeolites are contained in the premix in amounts of from 10 to 94.5% by weight, and it is particularly preferred for zeolites to be present in amounts of from 20 to 70, in particular from 30 to 60% by weight.
Further suitable inorganic builder substances are the carbonates, in particular sodium carbonate.
Of course, a use of the well-known phosphates as builders is possible, unless such use should not be avoided for environmental reasons. Particularly suitable are the sodium salts of orthophosphates, pyrophosphates and in particular tripolyphosphates. Their content is generally not more than 25 wt .-%, preferably not more than 20 wt .-%, each based on the finished agent. In some cases it has been shown that in particular tripolyphosphates even in small amounts up to a maximum of 10% by weight, based on the finished composition, in combination with other builder substances lead to a synergistic improvement in the secondary washing power.
In a preferred embodiment, the washing or cleaning agent further comprises at least one enzyme. Suitable enzymes are the enzymes previously mentioned as additives. According to the invention it is also possible that several different enzymes are included. In particular, enzyme granules are contained in a proportion of 4 to 15 wt .-%, preferably from 7 to 12 wt .-%, each based on 100 wt .-% of the total washing or cleaning agent. In a particularly preferred embodiment, the at least one enzyme is present as granules.
The detergents or cleaners according to the invention preferably contain enzymes in total amounts of from 1 × 10 -8 to 5% by weight, based on the active protein. Preferably, the enzymes are in a total amount of 0.001 to 4 wt .-%, more preferably from 0.01 to 3 wt .-%, even more preferably from 0.05 to 1.25 wt .-% and particularly preferably from 0, 2 to 1.0 wt .-% in these detergents or cleaning agents.
1. Zusammensetzung des Waschmittels 1. Composition of the detergent
Miele. Es wurden 5 Waschgänge durchgeführt. There were textiles of polyester / cotton blended fabric with a liquid detergent (Formulation 1, Comparative Example) and washed once with the liquid detergent according to Recipe 1 with the addition of 1.0 wt .-% active ingredient C 8 / C 10 -Alkylamidopropylbetain (Formulation 2, according to the invention ). The different fabrics were washed separately at 40 ° C (in the Easy Care program) in a standard washing machine from Miele. There were 5 washes done.
Nach 3 Wäschen wurde über Nacht zwischengetrocknet. After 3 washes, it was dried overnight.
A Zwick Z010 was used for the measurement.
The Teflon friction body was centered at the end of the test sample. By starting the tensile tester, the friction body was moved to the other end of the test sample.
The distance traveled was then included in a force / length change diagram. With this method you can directly determine the surface smoothness of a textile. The less force needed to move the frictional resistance across the fabric, the smoother the surface of the fabric.
The tissues treated with the formulations according to the invention show less resistance than the unwashed tissues, whereas with conventional detergents a significantly greater force is necessary. This indicates a high resistance, more creases and less smooth fibers of the tissues. With the C 8 / C 10 -alkyl amidopropyl betaines according to the invention, a reduced wrinkling of tissue as well as a simpler ironing is thus possible.
B. Nachweis einer besseren Wirksamkeit auf enzymselektiven Flecken B. Evidence of better efficacy on enzyme selective stains
1. Waschmittelrezeptur
3.5 kg of white cotton fabric as filling fabric was used together with a standard commercial stain set in a washing machine at 28 ° C with 60 l of water (hardness 6.72 ° d) over a period of time of 15 minutes. A commercial detergent, Formulation 1 and Formulation 2 were used. The wash results of the stain set for Formulation 1 and Formulation 2 were each compared with the washing result of the commercial detergent.
Formulation 2 exhibited a better washing result on the enzyme-sensitive stains egg and mustard compared to the commercial detergent than formulation 1 compared to the commercial detergent.
